The Suadero is god level. The mulitas are insane. The red sauce is my favorite. I love this place.

Being faded in Echo Park about 3:00 a.m can be a nice thing when you roll up on a place like this. BOMB ASS mexican food like mom used to make late at night. However, I'm not really feeling the Suadero tacos; seems a little overrated. Can somebody explain to me why they don't put any cilantro/onions/salsa on my order? What? I've been here a few times. These tacos are as good as it gets. I kid you not. I usually go for at least 2 or 3 suadero plus 2 or 3 more of whatever I'm feeling. I've tried all their meats besides chicken...I don't even know if they have chicken. Tacos are moist, lots of flavor. Make sure to hit em up with plenty of lime and their dank variety of sauces. I think they are open from like 10pm till like 4 am. Awesome. The taco ladies are very friendly too. If you are in the area at night and hungry for some simple quick bomb food give it a try. This place is overrated. Tried the al pastor and carne asada tacos, burritos-- meat was dry each time. Tacos Arizas nearby is better and El Taurino by MacArthur Park is supreme. read more

I can only give this place three stars for now cause i have only ate there once. I ordered six suadero tacos and a small orchata which came out to $11 not bad i guess but not cheap either. First time having suadero and I have to say that it tasted good like a king taco taco but it looked really greasy the tacos where on the medium size and had double tortilla orchata was more like a large so overall I guess its okay. I live kind of far away so I don't think I would go out of the way since I have a king taco near me but if I was in the neighborhood i'd probably give them another try. read more

OMG, this has to be the very BEST taco truck EVERRR! The ladies there are very nice & give off that "mom" vibe. My boyfriend took me there about a month ago and I've been hooked since. It's become our "special place." The first time I went there, I couldn't believe the line. There must have been at least 15-20 people waiting to order and another 10 sitting around eating. That alone told me the place was awesome, especially because the line was made up of mostly latin folk, and as some of you may know, we latins are picky about our latin food. I love the Taco Zone truck! I'll follow it anywhere it goes. The asada & suadero tacos are to die for... I could eat those tacos every day of my life and never get tired of them. The salsa's are freaking delicious, just like mexican moms make them! Don't be afraid to try any of their tacos, quesadillas, etc. You will NOT be disappointed. & to those of you wondering; NO, I was not drunk the first time I ate there. I was sober and the tacos were delicious! My only regret is that I didn't wear my "eatin' pants" that night. My tastebuds could've enjoyed themselves that much more. It's ok, though, I now carry my "eatin' pants" in my car just in case the Taco urge hits me square in the belly! I didn't pay attention to the prices because I was there with my guy & well, you know! lol Since he didn't complain, I'll assume the prices were fair. This could be the top "roach coach" in Echo Park, if not LA. I've got a buddy that swears by the coach on lower Sunset closer to Chinatown, but this one is more accessable and consistently delish. Also, parking is never an issue as the truck is situated right by the Vons lot. I dig the carne asada. read more

Cheap and delicious taco truck. They serve shredded chicken tacos for 1.25 each and have great selection for Baja style toppings. One of the best parts of this truck is looking at the history of bands and artists and campaigns whose history is plastered to its outside. All taco trucks are good and cheap, not many are as urban LA nostalgic. read more

Everything is great here, especially when pouring their salsa on it. Personal favorites are the suadero, al pastor, and chorizo. $5 burrito is very filling. Sometimes opt for 3 tacos or mulitas. I found this on yelp and have driven by countless times. It's $1.50, not $1.25. PROS: rice is soft & she let me add rice in taco at no extra charge, on the side it's 50 cents. CONS: REALLY disappointed b/c meat was super dry and hard in suadero...thought it would be moist! Didn't try mulitas, but if meat is dry, what's the use? read more
