    Potato and egg burrito
    Cierra W.

First off great service. You walk in and they make you feel welcome. Cash only!!! We ordered the potato and egg burrito! It was a great size and tasty. I asked for sour cream and I don't even think they charged me. The California burrito was bigger and the potatoes inside had a yummy crunch! Yes it is Cash only but heck where can you get two burritos for $18 !!? Go to the ATM before!! They had a big selection too. Can't wait to go back!!

I don't know if they got better at their cooking, but before coming here I read some reviews good and bad. I ordered a breakfast burrito with asada as protein. First bite wasn't good until i reach the middle, so basically not the best burrito spot, but is not bad either. I did love the red salsa! They have that on point! I just wish they put more flavor into the other ingredientes, and more meat!

Delicious food. We tried the chile relleno a la carte, torta de carne asada, chile relleno burrito, french fries. Everything was delicioso! 10 out of 10.

I come here often for lunch as it's close and convenient. They are a friendly family owned restaurant who deliver great service and tasty food. The space is a little small so it's best to order to go. Regreso aquí seguido durante mi tiempo de lonche porque me cuenda cerca y es conveniente. Es un negocio familiar con buen servicio y rica comida. El espacio está un poco pequeño entonces es mejor ordenar para llevar.

Chilaquiles plate and side of fries cook to order really hot and fresh.

Service was great. The food is great and delicious. Would recommend 100%. I place my order through a phone order and when I got there it was ready hot and ready. Thank you guys!!

The Horneado Burrito. Got it with delicious Al Pastor + tomatoes. This thing is pretty gigantic too, measures about 10" x 4" x 2".

Great spot for burritos. It's a tiny space inside, but they take phone orders and cards. They guy at the front is friendly as well Got the burrito Horneado, a wet burrito with guac, topped with melted cheese. It's every bit as delicious and decadent as it sounds (see pic). This'll prob be my regular, while i rotate in other menu items into my order every other week. Thanks for filling my tummy El Burrito Panzon!

They have plates, burritos and tacos here. Guac is extra which is not typical for most LA taco places. Free parking in the lot. They build the platters for you so you don't get to do your own toppings bar. The menu on the restaurant does not have any prices so you have to ask them each time. Not sure where the to go menus were with the prices. Inside of the restaurant can seat up to 10 people only. But it doesn't look like it gets that busy. A lot of the platters come with either free chips/ salsa or a drink. Just ask them what the combo comes with since the wall menu doesn't specify. Food was average and served on foam plates.

We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was presented really well. The enchiladas were flavorful, the grilled fish was cooked perfectly, and the tortillas with the short rib were a table favorite. Portions were great for sharing, and the sauces really tied everything together. Service was friendly and our server checked in on us throughout the night without making us feel rushed. It did get a little busy, so there were a few waits between courses, but nothing that took away from the experience. Overall Great atmosphere, solid food, and a fun place for birthdays or date nights. I'd definitely come back!!

Our waiter then told us we needed a specific Dine LA reservation, something that was never mentioned when I called or when I made the reservation. I've been to plenty of Dine LA restaurants and have never experienced this. The service wasn't necessarily bad, but it was very dismissive. No apology, no real explanation--they basically just brushed it off. Thankfully, the food saved the night! The Michelada oysters were TO DIE FOR--seriously one of the best oyster flavors I've ever had. We also had the short rib plate, which was delicious. The outdoor atmosphere and decor are really cute too. I would come back, but ONLY for those oysters--definitely not for the service.

Sonoratown was our first stop as it was highly recommended by my boyfriend's brother, and it did not disappoint. It immediately earned a spot in our top five favorite taco spots for carne asada in all of Southern California! The location that we went to is located in between Elysium DTLA and Perfumeria Starlux on E 8th St in downtown LA. There is only paid(?) street parking around the area that could be extremely difficult to find during work days. Because we couldn't snag a spot, my friends and I opted for takeout and didn't end up eating until about 30 minutes later. Despite the travel time, the tacos were still absolutely incredible--I can only imagine how spectacular it tastes fresh! My friends and I ordered the carne asada tacos, and my boyfriend opted for the cabeza. Before I even took a full bite, I tasted a piece of the loose carne asada and was blown away; it was perfectly cooked with a wonderful tenderness and deep smokiness. The use of a single, thin, handmade flour tortilla--rather than the standard double corn--was a total game-changer and exactly how I preferred my tacos. The salsas were equally impressive, offering fantastic flavor and a great kick. My boyfriend's cabeza taco was just as standout, featuring super-tender meat with a rich, savory profile. Wowowow! Between the exceptional meat quality, bold flavors, and great value, this is easily one of the best taco spots I've visited. It's a huge bummer that they don't have a location down in San Diego, but we will definitely be back!

Mostly crowded streets with metered parking. I got the chicken burrito. The tortilla was definitely the highlight and what really makes the burrito. Fresh, flavorful, and great texture. The filling itself tasted more like a standard burrito otherwise. Also tried the avocado sauce, which costs extra but was really good and worth adding. Overall solid spot. I'd come back to try the beef burrito and the chivichanga next time.

Cute building with lovely patio seating: from the trailing hanging pothos plants, Spanish tiles, to relaxing latin-house music the vibes were welcoming. I'm not much of a drinker though, when asked if I wanted to make my pina colada a "float" I thought incorrectly about ice cream. It was graciously explained that you take an additional shot of rum and float it on top of the drink or mix in to make it extra boozy. The pina colada is top notch they hollow out a real pineapple to make the drink and it's the size of your face! The watermelon cocktail was delicious and there is also a mezcal option. Tasted like if a watermelon aqua Fresca was combined with a margarita, there is a hint of salt that brings out the fruit sweetness. We special ordered a bunch of different proteins and vegetables at half portions to make a feast: Aguachile- Light refreshing starter, kanpachi perfectly marinated and great for the summer heat. Crispy potato- Phenomenally done fingerling potatoes. Whipped beans- Carnitas on top made this dish. Fried chicken tacos- Found the chicken slightly on the dry side, if there was a creamy/thicker sauce would be even better... nothing wrong with flavor, good mild heat. I did enjoy the fresh shredded cabbage and carrots, reminded me of bahn mi. Empanadas- Loved the acidity of the sauce that cut through the fattiness of the ground meat. Light shell. Crispy Squash flower- Delicate crunch, like an angelic version of a jalapeno popper. Lamb chops- Definition of "treat-yourself" luxurious meat lollipops. Celery salad- Simple dish but the lemon flavor and tartness really helped break up the richness of other dishes. Churros- Light crunch and small, petite dessert. The thin caramel sauce is addicting. Fine dining, for those special occasions or if you just want to splurge for a morale boost highly recommend this restaurant. Valet parking or park across the street or around the corner in a lot for $5-10.

The mole was rich, complex, and full of flavor, exactly what you would hope for from a restaurant known for its Oaxacan specialties. As a welcome appetizer, they bring fresh chips and salsa to the table, but what really impressed us was when they replaced the salsa with their incredible mole sauce. It was so good we found ourselves dipping everything into it. Both meals were served with rice that was perfectly cooked with a great consistency and flavor. For 2 we ordered: Small guac and chips - very fresh and good. Not spicy and not too much lime juice. Just good, solid, fresh, basic guacamole Erizo (uni) with the scallops - delish. Uno and scallops so fresh. Scallops are in a ceviche-style sauce under those beautiful sea urchins. Tostada de atún - also very good. Everything chopped perfectly. Not too much heat - some red onion in there. Ceviche of yellowtail - a big portion! Enough for more than two people for sure. Light fry, crema, tomato, lime Kanpachi collar (grilled)- comes on a big plate with tomatoes, avocado, beans and rice in a little bowl on side, fresh blue corn tortillas - my partner said this was his favorite thing.
