All meat el pastor burrito is good I had a few times before And tacos are okay but the nachos are really disgusting ( i just tried them) , some of the chips were stale and the el pastor meat was mostly fat. First off great service. You walk in and they make you feel welcome. Cash only!!! We ordered the potato and egg burrito! It was a great size and tasty. I asked for sour cream and I don't even think they charged me. The California burrito was bigger and the potatoes inside had a yummy crunch! I don't know if they got better at their cooking, but before coming here I read some reviews good and bad. I ordered a breakfast burrito with asada as protein. First bite wasn't good until i reach the middle, so basically not the best burrito spot, but is not bad either. I did love the red salsa! They have that on point! Great spot for burritos. It's a tiny space inside, but they take phone orders and cards. They guy at the front is friendly as well Got the burrito Horneado, a wet burrito with guac, topped with melted cheese. It's every bit as delicious and decadent as it sounds (see pic). They have plates, burritos and tacos here. Guac is extra which is not typical for most LA taco places. Free parking in the lot. They build the platters for you so you don't get to do your own toppings bar. The menu on the restaurant does not have any prices so you have to ask them each time. Not sure where the to go menus were with the prices. Inside of the restaurant can seat up to 10 people only. But it doesn't look like it gets that busy. A lot of the platters come with either free chips/ salsa or a drink. Just ask them what the combo comes with since the wall menu doesn't specify. I found out about this little hole in the wall when I use to work down the street from this location and ever since then I've been coming back (that was five years ago). I have introduced this place to a couple people and I think they feel the same! I may be Korean but I LOVE Mexican food. My go to are the crunchy tacos. I usually get chicken and beef. It comes with lettuce and cheese. My fiancé also likes to order veggies burritos from this place as well as their wet burrito panzon. I have also tried their taquitos and all orders come with chips and salsa. They also have a spicer salsa that you have to ask for which is very good! DO NOT SLEEP ON THEIR BEANS!! They are seriously the best beans I have ever had and especially with cheese, I usually add extra cheese. On days when me and my fiancé decide we don't want to cook beans we always come here and buy the biggest size to eat with our bolillos (which we buy separately from a panaderia). The only bad thing about this spot is that it is on a busy corner and parking can be a little hard since there are literally like 10 spaces and sometimes there are homeless people by the steps but they don't really bother anyone (well not to me at least) read more

It has chicken, cheese, and lettuce but also comes with chips and salsa. If you want spicy salsa you have to ask for it. Otherwise they give you one that Mild-ish. I say mild-ish cause it still has a kick to it. Also the beans here are delicious!!! They add cheese on top! Super good with chips!! I always order to go and eat at work. I noticed this place is pretty small. The staff here is super duper nice!! They are very generous when you ask for additional sauces or lime! I like that a lot. Had the calido Monday night and it was so so good. They don't skimp on the amount of beef they give you. The meat is so tender it's like having a soup full of mini steaks. Definitely perfect for a cold night in. No where to dine in, not sure if it's because it was late but its a tiny restaurant, take out is probably best. The agua fresca is not freshly made though. The vegetarian burrito was ok. But the soup had big chunks of veggies and they give you free tortilla chips and tortilla. The asada tacos we got were good and everything was FRESH. We ordered at the peak of lunch so the wait was little longer and it seemed like people were getting their orders made before ours but I could be mistaken. Either way my son said "these tacos taste really good". And my husband and I agree. I really appreciate the freshness, especially the onion and the salsa. Taste/portions are good for the price, & staff was accommodating with menu (veggie sopes). Staff is very friendly/funny and seem to know most of their regular customers. Take out is probably most convenient as parking is very tight. Interior has only 4 tiny tables which can accomodate 2 people each. TV was mostly tuned in to Spanish TV each time I was there. We finally discovered this place! Searched everywhere for a good vegetarian burrito- and this place is IT!!!! Veggie/Vegetarian/(maybe can be vegan)- COME HERE. Great tortillas- and they - get this- LET YOU ASK FOR A CUSTOM BURRITO, NO EXTRA CHARGE. Around $6 We go for eggs sometimes, but always potato (a lot of LA places dont have this on for burritos!), beans, rice, guacamole (no extra charge), onions. Now, they don't put pico de gallo on here, but you can get some delicious salsa roja and verde, so who cares. It all comes with excellent fried chips for- $6. Holy. Crap. Service is always very breezy. Even though the strip mall parking lot is sketchy, we come in for lazy days to grab it to go. Also they apparently take call-in pickup orders on the phone, so we'll try that next time. Support small business that goes the extra mile for customers! Edit: I just wanted to address someone else's review: Almost all places charge extra for avocado/guacamole- it is an expensive ingredient! This place is a local favorite for people who work in the area. It's right next to the Winchell's in the plaza, and the parking lot is horrible so good luck finding a spot! I work a couple blocks away so I just call in my order for pick up. Usually I get the two taco combo, or one of their many delicious burritos. I really love the bean and cheese burrito, and my coworker always gets the famous avocado burrito(she says she orders this at other places but it's never as good as this place). They give you a bag with chips and salsa for every individual item you order, so that's cool. The guys that work here are also very friendly and welcoming. I've never actually dined in, but the place is really small inside so I probably wouldn't anyway. Btw the burrito horneado is HUGE, especially for what you pay($5.25). It barely fits in the container it comes in. I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating. I'm sure it isn't the absolute best Mexican joint in the city, but I've never been disappointed. Friendly service, very reasonably priced, and in my opinion very tasty! To be fair I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here outside of work since I don't live around here.
