Some good dishes but overpriced for what it is, which is essentially a counter service restaurant. The Baja fish taco was very good, as was the guac and chips. The Burris tacos were pretty good but others in our party agreed that they lacked much interesting flavor. With lower prices, this place would be a repeat visit, but as it is, I would rather go to a restaurant that was more comfortable for this price point. read more

I wish there were stars on the negative side. This restaurant is deplorable in service, food quality & ambiance. They take your order tableside & make you pay AND tip before the food has arrived. The server disappears, the food arrives from a food runner on a plastic tray/paper plates. Nobody checked back in with us after delivery of the food. I've eaten at this restaurant in New York & the food/experience was good. The food today in Westport was terribly heavy, greasy & not well put together. Clearly they don't care about the experience. Had the worst time here. Was immediatley sat at a dirty table. The manager Jordan yelled at us infront of the entire resturant because we asked to move to a different table. Pretty embarrassing and his tantrum wasn't needed. 40 min wait for 4 tacos and guacamole and chips. You have to order and pay when you place the order through a website. The pork taco and steak Birria tacos were ok, but the fish taco was horrible. It had a fishy taste that you shouldn't get with a white fish. The taco was fried, not just the fish. One bite was way more than enough for us. Great location and authentic decor. Really wanted this place to become a new regular for our family. Disappointed in many ways.... No clarity or help on how to order and no menu to refer to..... had to pull up the online menu. The tacos were pretty bland. They may be authentic but when you see the tacos on offer elsewhere, the bar is high and these didn't reach it. My eldest is a food truck taco king and he is not a fan. Sad. read more

Ive been to Tacombi in NYC and the one in Westport, CT. I really enjoy the street tacos. Small but delish and filling. The santa sandia margarita is one of the things that makes Tacombi stand out. The bean and sweet potato taco was bangin! read more

Really great addition to Westport Mexican culinary scene in general, plus family friendly, culturally authentic, clean, and delicious. And affordable. I was curious what the cold weather version would be like because its largely an outdoor space, but they did a beautiful job with high end slidings that feels like you are outdoors but completely enclosed, plus great heat lamps! read more

I tried this restaurant today because I follow a local content creator on Twitter who works there and I always wanted to try the food because it looks so good on the posts I see on social media so I came today with my boyfriend and was so disappointed it's a nice place and it's so cute and cozy but I was disappointed that the service was so bad I understand it's a job and not everyone wants to go to work every day but the girl who waited on us was so short and rude and you could tell she didn't want to serve us. I don't know the influencers name who works here because it isn't listed on Twitter so I asked if someone else could serve us and our server said "no it's me or nobody" so rude!! Like what!! Then we ordered our food and I already knew what I wanted because I've seen it online I got the pork quesadilla and the street corn and the guacamole tostada and the shrimp taco, first of all the tortillas on the taco were falling apart and soggy and unappealing then the pork was so thick and RAW in the middle. RAW PORK can cause really bad health problems that's disgusting!!! It smelled so good and I waited so long to come here and I was served raw food. The guacamole was NOT fresh I asked our server and she said "well I don't know how it wouldn't be fresh because we make it every day" with such an attitude and then my boyfriend wanted to cause a scene and ask for a manager and I said no it's not even worth it. The street corn was the only thing I was able to enjoy. My boyfriend liked his burrito and fish tacos but we're never coming back and I already disputed the transaction off my credit card because there's no way I'm letting payment for terrible service and raw pork hit my account there's just no way. I even sent a message on Twitter to the content creator who works here because my experience was nothing like I was made to believe and I guess that's the problem with believing people on social media because honestly I saw a post last week with a work schedule encouraging people to come in on days the creator was working. And I came in today for that exact reason and had a terrible server who obviously didn't even want to be at work. I didn't get a response yet so I called this restaurant to speak to a manager and whoever answered the phone hung up on me so now I'm going to leave a review on Google and Yelp and the BBB. Absolutely delicious food. All the tacombi I have been to have great service and atmosphere. My favorite is the Carne asada taco and Carne asada quesadilla. The first time I tasted the Carne asada taco, I ate it daily for 2 weeks straight so good so delicious!!!!! read more

The servers at this Westport location were friendly and kind. My bill was $42.76 for one to go. Cute ambiance, food was lackluster. Nothing made me want to have to return again. Pineapple Lupita soda wasn't great, tacos were one note the best item was the Cprn Esquites, but could make at home. Poor value for the portion size and quality.
