Possibly my favorite taco truck in Houston and I've tried quite a few. Fast service good price and quantity. 9/10 spot

Definitely the worst taco truck in Houston. A total rip off lol I paid $40, for 10 tacos, only got 8, and they were all wrong on top of it I hate a place that charges $2 for avocado and $1.50 for cheese, PER TACO literally nuts.

Nachos especialas - nothing special about it

THIS IS A TACO TRUCK!!! Please don't make the mistake of getting anything else.. my bf put me on to Tacomadre and his steak tacos are always fire but anything else I've tried was not the business.. chicken tacos were bland, i ordered a cheese and bean burrito and i ended up with a steak and cheese burrito, i also once ordered nachos and they were straight up trash.. the nachos at my daughters elementary school had more pizzaz.. bottom line get the steak tacos or don't get anything at all lol

Bland fajita tacos. It tastes as bad as it looks even with their salsas.

I came here because of all the excellent google and yelp reviews. Let's start off with my experience: Extremely long wait even though it was just us ordering. There was one car ahead of us in the drive through and they still took forever so we decided to just get out and order. That took me about 5 mins so it wasn't bad. I ordered the fajita tacos and it tasted like a Caucasian cooked them. They were soooo bland and not to mention overpriced. I don't know if I'd even enjoy the tacos if I were drunk. I was going to spend about $40 here because I was going to buy some for my sister and her husband. Thank goodness I didn't waste my money! Save your time and spend your money elsewhere. Not worth the wait and absolutely not worth the money.

I don't want to have anything to do with mi madre's taco, so the name only scores 1 star. However the food is easily 5 stars both for taste and value, and the guys working here are super nice. What to get: Any of the tacos, really. Fajita (which is Asada), Pastor, Trompo, all damn good. Trompo is a famous type of rotating-spindle-carved pork meat from Monterrey and it's well worth a try. There's a ton of Trompo in Houston because if you head South West on the highway to the RGV and keep going past the border, you'll soon be in Monterrey. It's a super convenient place to stop if you're heading West on I-10 towards downtown Houston. After you pass 610 (Inner Loop) you'll often hit awful traffic. You can hop off at this exit and hop right back on with almost no fuss. It's a little trickier Eastbound, but not too much. This is yet another reason why it's a great place to grab tacos. One of the better taco trucks I've tried out of the 100 or so I've been to in the H-town area. And remember, when you're in Houston, mi madre es su madre. Oh wait.

Oh and I ran into 50 cent

Other than the slight piss smell that lingers around the lil truck, this place is golden. Quesadillas? FIRE. Tortas? EXCELLENT. They have the best trompo I've ever had honestly and the horchata smack. 4 out of 5 because I'd be lying if I gave it 5 simply due to the fact that I was kinda scared of getting mugged

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

Service was remarkable and very friendly from the host to the cleaning staff. Food was delicious. I really appreciated the creative flavors that were inspired by authentic Mexican cuisine. Standouts were the guacamole and wagyu carne asada, but everything was fantastic. I loved the Clara cocktail and enjoyed learning about the process to create it. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. We will most definitely return.
