Tacos does not come with any kinds of salsa like other Mexican places. Also becareful of their taco Tuesdays and the (+2.99 Platter) it's just an add on for beans and rice and a salad that they don't specify. I tried to get a refund for the platter because I didn't know and to just keep the tacos but they apparently can't do it cause it's "paid online". You might as well don't get scammed like me and order the lunch version on their menu since it's a cheaper version of the "platter +2.99" without the extra charge. They also do not answer their phone often so that should've kind of been my red flag for this place. Service was not the best and had not only me but a lot of other people waiting for a long time to get their food. I genuinely love Mexican food places so it saddens me that I had to write this review cause it was that bad.

Such a depth of flavor I can't even describe. Spicier then I expected. But I got through it. It came with taco shells, rice and beans, lettuce and tomatoes, and the best guacamole I've had in awhile. I also tried a lengua taco. It was way too much food but I have to try it whenever I see it in a menu. The lengua was tender and they put a lot of meat. Served with cilantro and onions. The chimichanga was huge but I didn't try it. I was told the beef was actually steak and delicious. I had the hibiscus tea. Very good but tried the horchata and would get that next time. A couple things - the food is made fresh so it took over half an hour to get the food. Worth the wait! The place was clean but could use some updating. There's a little bit of a language barrier. It honestly reminded me of some of the restaurants we've found walking the streets of Mexico. I wouldn't let that hinder you from trying the food if you prefer a fancier atmosphere.

The guacamole was fresh and seasoned perfectly as well as the tacos and burrito we ordered. I think my biggest complaint is the pricing of their menu. The food is great and I want to support small businesses but to charge almost $25 for three tacos and no sides is a little steep. The burrito was delicious but it was almost $20 and didn't have a lot inside of it. I'd like to come back to try other things but the steep pricing really deters me from trying to come back. There's also a fast food style ordering board, but the prices feel more like a sit down restaurant. It doesn't really know what it wants to be. The food was okay, but not memorable. I paid $17 for three tacos with rice and beans and nothing felt fresh or unique, no cool sauces from scratch using fresh chilis and veggies, just plain. The presentation tries to be elevated, but the quality doesn't match the price. I don't mind spending money on great food, but this just didn't feel like a good value. There's potential here, but right now it feels like everything is a little out of sync.
