Fantastic food, the meat portions on the meat is big, the line is usually 10-15minutes minimum and can go up to 20 or 25 minutes. They take cash or selle The prices as of Dec 2024 is around $4 for a rib taco so it has definitely doubled since the pandemic. So it can be a bit pricey for tacos. However they give you the food immediately when it's your turn and the charcoal flavor is very unique.

Carne asada mulita & an al pastor taco! Would recommend fresh food. Tempted to try the torta next. Bomb for late night munchies! Service is pretty fast.

Asada torta with only meat and cheese.

The last two times I've ordered on door dash the food has been garbage compared to the first times I've been here. Last time my tacos were completely soggy and today my torta didn't even have any avocado on it. The torta was just pure meat and cheese. Definitely not buying from here anymore.

The service is quick and everyone was very nice I have no complaints. The meat itself is seasoned well it's delicious and I love that char taste. My only complaint is the tortillas, the cheese and the warmth of the food. The tortillas were not cooked long/hot enough making the food cold, and the meat sits in a container and it wasn't very hot either. You have to eat it on the spot. I drove less than a mile away to my home and the food was lukewarm. The cheese had a funny taste and maybe it's because they're preheating it up before you even get there, like it was melted 15-20 minutes ago and then they put the meat on it, the meat that was sitting in a container, making the mulita room temp. I had to put it in an air fryer to melt. I understand they're trying to be fast and have people out of there, but I don't love that. I want my food hot and fresh. I don't like to be a critic but maybe take it as feedback. The food was still delicious

Long line went by in about ten minutes I had my food

Man this place is the best hands down no joke I highly recommend it It's a 2 hour drive from my house but I love the rib tacos and I just had the pastor for the first time from them and let me tell you they smack no joke I just wish there some where to sit lol cus it get tiring stand up lol best ya is ever no joke

    Dinner time ... rib tacos

Yelp claims it is closed on Mondays, but after a long night and driving I saw it open .... So yes I stopped here for dinner ... the rib tacos are soooo delicious!!! Their salsa and guacamole combined are so good because the salsa isn't extremely hot in spice... it is just perfect to be able to enjoy my 2 tacos. I'll just have to box with my trainer a little harder after this late dinner ... however, just being extremely honest if you know the area , you have options at every corner for tacos I would say close to 50 taco stands just in the heart of EastLos... working in the area I can say these are thee best I've tasted ... maybe because I love their ribs ... and if you get Al pastor just ask for pineapple on top... you won't go wrong .They are the best in the East LA area!

With respect to service and ambiance, this place is just fantastic. It felt like I was invited to the neighborhood carne asada without having to be friends or family with any of the other guests! There's a self service toppings and salsa bar and a small bench to eat or wait. They specialize in beef and all things related. Meaning, they have asada tacos but are known for the lengua and labio and cabeza. I myself got the lengua and labio. I usually wouldn't order those cuts when going to my usual taco spots, but was told or read somewhere that this was the place to order those cuts. Really happy to have tried those. The place seemed really busy as well, so you know it's a beloved neighborhood spot. Parking was a little tough, but it is literally parking in a suburban residential area. It was a bit on the crowded side so I parked two blocks away.

The tortilla here is steamed and the meat is super tender, flavorful and juicy. Portions are generous and service is quick. There's toppings on the side you can add along with (very spicy) salsa. I also love that they have real Mexican coke with less sugar. Run, don't walk. I'd give this place six stars if I could.

I recently came here for a late night eat. [Parking]: Easy and free street parking - I had no issue finding an available spot. [Ordering]: Customers can actually do a phone order ahead of time. There was a small crowd on Friday at 9 PM, but I didn't wait too long to receive my order. There was a salsa bar with green, red, and habanero sauces. I was a fan of green sauce, but the other two salsas were too spicy for me. [Atmosphere]: No tables with just portable chairs to sit. I ended up eating inside of my car. [Menu]: Meat options include asada (beef), al pastor (marinated pork), cabeza (beef cheek), chorizo (Mexican sausage), lengua (tongue), tripa (beef guts), buche (pork belly), suadero (beef brisket), and pollo (chicken). Customers can order taco, tortas, nachos, mulitas, burritos, asada fries, quesadillas, and california burrito. *** Asada Taco and Al Pastor Taco ($2.34 per taco including 4% credit card fee): These were double-layered tortillas and I liked al pastor better than asada. Not the best al pastor taco I have had, but decent enough. This specific style of al pastor had no pineapple & came with sliced cucumbers off the side. Absolutely delicious s-tier grilled onion. *** This is a solid late night taco spot in East LA that actually accepts credit cards.

Don't forget to take a picture by the "Cinco Puntos" sign on the wall and the well-known tree nearby! The food was edible, I ordered a carnitas taco with chicharrón. The meat itself was flavorful, chicharron nice and crunchy and I liked that you get to choose your own toppings. The tortillas are handmade, which many people will appreciate, although they were a little thicker than I personally prefer. If you enjoy authentic, handmade tortillas, this place may be more your style. The service was the highlight of our visit. Everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and kind. It was an extremely hot day, and one of the ladies even gave my daughter a small bag of ice to play with and cool off, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you for going the extra mile. There is a small parking lot, and we were able to find street parking right in front near the outdoor tables. The outside seating area was perfectly fine for enjoying our meal. The biggest downside for me was the cleanliness inside the restaurant. While nothing prevented us from eating there, I felt the interior could really benefit from a deep cleaning. Overall, I'm glad we visited and experienced such a well-known East L.A. landmark. While I probably wouldn't return because it wasn't quite my personal preference, I can still recommend it to anyone looking for authentic carnitas, handmade tortillas, and a piece of East Los Angeles history.
