There was a small crowd on Friday at 9 PM, but I didn't wait too long to receive my order. There was a salsa bar with green, red, and habanero sauces. I was a fan of green sauce, but the other two salsas were too spicy for me. [Atmosphere]: No tables with just portable chairs to sit. I ended up eating inside of my car. Really solid tacos and salsa! We really enjoyed the Al pastor and cabeza. Super juicy and flavorful. They were generous with the grilled onion, cucumber and jicama toppings as well. Let me tell you something, the most softest carne asada meat I have tried, I had to ask the cook what type of meat was in my taco because I've never tasted such soft carne asada. The Tuesday/Thursday taco special cannot be beat. Every meat we have tried this far is right on point every time. We are also big fans of the mulitas and the burritos. In the burritos I would like to see a little more meat as it is filled with mostly rice. A nice tomatillo salad would've been great as well. Hands down the best al pastor tacos I've had: even my husband liked them. And he is not a fan of al Pastor meat. This is a taco truck and it appears to be always there, that's their spot. This is THE SPOT, their burritos are amazing. Perfect balance of meat, beans and rice. The meat does not have an excessive amount of fat(the chewy part), nor are the beans bad, and the rice is perfect. Tortilla is well wrapped and does not start leaking. Well wrapped and a good size. Any smaller and it would not be worth the price and any larger would make it devalue itself. The tacos are also superb but the specialty here has to be the burritos. They also give you a side of onion which I LOVE and it's the only place that gives it to you regardless if you ask for it, and a spicy pepper too :) The aguas will never let you down, the piña is immaculate, so delicious, sweet and really holds the piña flavor. Horchata as well but given I trust very few piña selling establishments, this one takes the cake for being the most delicious. Well done El Guero! This is my favorite spot! read more

Saw the hype after 58 reviews at 5 stars. Took a couple of taco loving friends with me and we were all left underwhelmed. Nothing bad about this place, but driving from Culver City was definitely not worth it. As with most taco trucks, parking is an issue so you gotta find street parking in a busy intersection or park at the Winchells across the street and hope that you will be fine. Truck looks clean enough and though there was a large group there, food was received rather quickly. 6 taco plate to get a good sample of their offerings. Asada, is your typical under seasoned, cooked in the flat top griddle, nothing special. Al pastor was lacking in flavor as well, chopped fine so it didn't come straight from the trompo. Lengua was also lacking in seasoning but at least it wasn't undercooked like many other places. The best taco was the cabeza, that was really tasty and well cooked. Salsas are really spicy so I am sure that a lot of people would struggle to cope with that level of spice, I was on the cusp of spice tolerance. None of my friends left happy but none of us really liked this place. Prices are great and the staff were great. Anyways I will struggle to want to come back as there are so many better options, even within the city. Dope place. Bought a drink and 6 tacos for about 8 bucks. They give you good portions of meat with each taco and their red sauce, which is a little spicy for me is really good. I don't like avocado sauce but they have that as well and I'm guessing the lighter orange sauce is some type of even hotter maybe habenero sauce, either way I ordered the carne asada tacos and they were great. This truck came by and parked in rosemead in front of grocery outlet. I was so happy I saw them because my office is next door. We came by to do a quick taco run and got 2 asadas and 2 pastor. The lady taking my order was really nice. It seems toi be run by a family because there a younger kid helping out and the husband which is nice. I love supporting a business run by a family. The food is where its at. First of all the al pastor was God dam amazing. They cut a piece of grilled pineapple along with it and I can't tell you enough how good grilled pineapple is with al pastor. The asada was also good I think the meat could be a little juicier and maybe cut larger but I enjoyed it. They had there sauces in pump containers which is so smart. Because other trucks put it in a squeeze tube but I just think pump tanks is so much more sanitary and easier to use. The napkins and utensils are nicely organized as well. They give you sliced pickles when you order tacos which is a plus because pickles are a good way to counteract the spicy and its refreshing. Rosemead public safety came by while we were eating and told them they have to move every hour which is a shame. I didn't know rosemead had that rule. It sucks because there are a lot of good areas to have a taco truck. I think they should allow at least 1 or 2. The spot they staked was perfect to because it was on the side of grocery outlet and didnt get in the east of the sidewalk. I hope they come by often because I would love to try their other stuff. read more
