The lady working cashier is very condescending. I asked for Baja fish tacos. The lady at the register did not explain that it was a fish and shrimp combo. I have gotten Baja fish tacos at other places and all it was, was fish. So I went back to the register to tell her that I just wanted fish and she was very condescending pointing her finger in my face with a mean look in her eyes saying well that what you ordered you got it wrong. Basically blaming the customer when she did not disclose what was actually in the taco. I will not be returning to this establishment. You should never point your finger in a customers face. Go to off the hook fish grill, it's much better anyway and it's just down the street. They have gotten a taco wrong before at that establishment and they were so nice about it. Went to Tacos Baja the other day and had some of the best fish tacos this side of Cabo. The fish was cooked just right, not overdone as is all too common. The mildly spicy sauce dripping from the taco was the best! I quickly ate two tacos and had to order another. I've been coming here for several years and consistently had bad experiences with staff ignoring customers, getting orders wrong etc. BUT... their food... is. so. good. I keep coming back despite the service because of the quality of food and the prices are great. Although they have gone up over the years. Sometimes the rude encounters are worth it for the right food . I will say they've gotten better over time, especially now. My last experience was very pleasant. Right now, they have a sign up saying they're taking calls for orders. No one answered the phone and I tried calling 3 times within a span of like an hour. So I pulled up to see if they were still open. They were. Not swamped either, so I was a bit confused as to why they weren't answering the phone number they have advertised on their window. If you're not going to answer the phone, don't post it. If you are, but can't when you're swamped... I suggest maybe posting call-in hours. My two cents. I hope this place makes it. Horrible experience today! Cooks have no knowledge of safe food handling. Cook was using his barehands to handle the fish and same hand to answer his cellphone. When asked he said "Its much easier like this". Been a huge fan and customer but not anymore. Poor food handling done here. Really hope the owners or management does something about this! read more

Hey this place is a hidden gem honestly. If your not native to the area you might just pass it by like we almost did. The only reason we stopped was because we seen so many people in line waiting to order. The food is fresh. It's more geared toward sea food but they do offer vegetarian options as well as other items that don't have seafood. Reason I'm giving them 4/5 stars was the fact that on Friday October 23, 2020 I went with my brother to grab take out for my family around 5pm. My coworker got me hooked on this place ! The prices are affordable and the food always tastes fresh. I normally order a fish taco combo, and that comes with 2 tacos and a side of beans and rice. I ended up getting full off of one taco and the rice and beans. They have a condiment area as well and I always make sure to grab the pickled onions and jalapeños. I would highly recommend you check your bank account for the lady at the register was charging peoples card multiple times instead of once. I tried getting a refund for the transaction and she refused to refund me the money and said to call my bank and that they would sort it.
