Went last night, ordered 6 tacos to test em out 3 Asada 3 chicken. The employees were extremely nice and the service was good. The red and green salsa were fine. There are 2 big issues with the place- 1- The food is just ok, the meat was low quality and not very tasty. It's edible but not memorable. 2- This may be the biggest issue. The location is horrid, in the last 10 or so years I've seen at least 4 stores(3 of em restaurants) there. I mean a liquor store even failed. The Jack in the Box blocks it, it's in a small strip mall with no parking. That makes it a destination restaurant, but the food isn't good enough to want to go back. Like I said it's not bad, but it wasn't good enough to make me or the other who tried it want to go back especially when there are dozens of other Mexican/taco places in the area that are easier to get in and out of. read more

Hidden Gem in Downey. This place is amazing. The food is so delicious. The asada meat tastes so good. No bad taste at all, like many Mexican restaurants out there. For many years my favorite quesadillas were the ones they sell at Chili's,...but the asada quesadillas at tacos Downey factory are way better. Far superior taste. Had the Al pastor burrito which was filling and came with chips and salsa. Stuff chosen for it was the purple onion(flavorful) and the four salsas: red hot sauce, salsa de molcajete roja (really good), salsa verde (good) and avocado salsa (best).
