Bland bland bland no flavor at all. Stoped here thinking I would get some good food but I was wrong. Salsa wasn't good either. Definitely not worth the stop. Best things Chips and grill onion :)

Amazing service and delicious affordable food ! They have a wide range to select from and they even have a dessert menu . Food is so flavorful and they serve you a lot . The nachos and fries are loaded and so good . The tacos and burritos are also very delicious and they come with cucumber slices and a little bit of chips . Definitely 10/10 !

Hmm. I got two tacos, a chorizo and an al pastor. The chorizo was nearly flavorless but the al pastor was delicious. No salsa bar. They ask if you'd like it and add it before they serve it to you. So that means a regular sized serving of sides instead of the generous serving I often avail myself of. But they threw in some grilled onion which I very much liked. The most fun part was the unexpected petting zoo in the back. A few chickens, a couple goats and a burro hanging out doing their chicken-y, goat-y, burro-y thing. It was fun to hang out with them and to pet the goat for a minute. A perfectly acceptable stop. But at least from my meager experience one you could blow past and not feel like you'd been gypped too badly.

Tacos el Corporal - Hwy 126 Piru - Covered PIcnic Table Area Out Back - Looking at the Neighbor Cottage

I try and stop here every time I come back from the Central Valley, having hired one of their trucks for an event where it was a hit w quality authentic Mexican food for every taste and budget. So, it is a taco truck next to a big gas station on Hwy 126, west of the 5, it is at the light where you take the road to Piru. Fresh ingredients on dbl tortillas, their no grissle, big taste chicken tacos are satisfying and they have tripe and other Mexican meats you may want in different iterations. Authentic Mexican food and Mexican cokes, they are open until around midnight, sometimes 11 it seems, w lots of room to pull up and park in the dirt on the side of the road, order at the window, wait not too long, and eat off the hood of your car or at the covered picnic table area out back, w an unencumbered view of the mountains. And they've added ice cream and fresh fruit and juices to the menu, including dif iterations of them like malts and smoothies.

If i can give 0 stars i would ! When they first started they were great but lately they have been the worst you always have to argue for sauce and when you tell them they always respond to a "they already come with it" when in reality they dont they hardly prepare the tacos how they are supposed to be ! There is always hardly cilantro in them and it always looks messy! ... i really recommend if you are craving some delicious tacos go to Santa Paula instead there is better tacos than this

We were on our way home from the beach, so we ordered to go. I had the whole fish and that was very tasty! I highly recommend that dish! Their salsa is so good too! I can only imagine how much better it all tastes eating in. It was so delicious! When I came in to pick up the food the restaurant is so big and beautiful. They have a nice large outdoor patio too. This place would be perfect for large parties! The service here was so nice as well! Next time I plan to dine in and get the full experience. I'm so glad to have finally tried this restaurant. I highly recommend it.

The service is always fast, friendly, and welcoming, and it's honestly one of the easiest restaurants in Fillmore to recommend with complete confidence to anyone visiting town. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. The margaritas and micheladas are off the charts! generous pours and huge compared to the tiny drinks you get at so many other Mexican restaurants. The food is consistently great too. My personal favorite is the Pollo Tampiqueño, but their Molcajete, fajitas, albondigas, homemade tortillas are all amazing and definitely one of the highlights of the menu. Their signature seafood plates are absolutely worth trying. If you're anywhere near Fillmore, El Pescador is worth the drive. Family owned with great food, great people, great atmosphere, plenty of parking, and the kind of local restaurant that keeps people coming back.

I felt as though this was a pretty good amount of food for $13.95. One of the things that makes me not like Mexican food is when it is greasy. The place already had great reviews, so we figured we had to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! The gentleman who took our order was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating from the moment we walked in. I also appreciated that they offer slightly lower pricing if you pay with cash. We all ended up ordering chilaquiles--one plate with green sauce and the other two with red sauce--and got our eggs over easy. Let me just say: these were hands down some of the best chilaquiles we've had in the area. The flavor, texture, and portion sizes were all top notch. I also loved that they have an open salsa bar along with complimentary chips for every order. Little touches like that really make the experience even better. There's also plenty of seating inside, and they have a restroom located in the back, which is always convenient when dining with kids. The ambiance is very casual and laid back, making it an easy and comfortable brunch spot. We'll absolutely be coming back again soon!
