    Craving some tacos..
    Nina C.

Really needed a good taco place to make my go-to and i think Tacos El Herradero is it! It's not in the best area but its corner is well lit and they have parking out front, it's a small place but lots of themed decor and upbeat music. A few tables which were full when i got there. Ordered my food to go and it took about 20 minutes to prepare everything but it was worth the wait! They have a toppings bar with little plastic to go ramekins and you can take whatever you need, cilantro, onion, lime, different salsas. Then they prepare the tacos naked and when you get home you load them up, keeping all the toppings fresh. Amazing idea. The staff taking your order and friendly and working hard. Deserve a tip. We had 7 tacos and a quesadilla and it was about $40 so very reasonable. Sadly i didn't get to take any pics of the food when i got home before my family scarfed it all down. But we Loved it, will definitely come back!

Thank you Yelpers for guiding an out-of-towner to this excellent hole-in-the-wall! I love a good breakfast burrito and they don't get any better than the $6 burros from Tacos El Herradero. Super friendly people, fast turnaround on the order and piping hot when I got 'em home!

Taco al pastor. I had three, but the one is all I could take a photo of because they were too good to wait!

We absolutely loved our experience here. The employees (server and cooks) were all so accommodating and friendly. They helped with anything we needed and recommended tamales when they heard me talking about them. The tacos al pastor were excellent. So juicy, with the right amount of grilled texture, flavorful from the marinade, and the pineapple always gives it that sweet finishing touch! Yes! And their home made salsas were yummy! The decor was a little lacking, but you're in and out very quickly and I would highly recommend ordering food to go after your meal because this place will stick with you and you'll want more!

Los tacos al pastor con piña están muy deliciosos. El menudo es muy apetitoso y rico. La mesera es muy amable y tiene muy buenos modales. Se los recomiendo!

Super legit hole in the wall spot. Best lengua I've had in Colorado easily. Awesome salsa bar. Just an authentic Mexican place like you might find in la.

Saw this place on TikTok with the wrong name and prices, which I discovered once I arrived. They have .99 cent Al pastor tacos on Tuesday!!! I'm from Texas and have been looking for authentic tacos here in Denver and I'm so glad I've found them! I will most definitely be back. It's be great if they had pickled onion/cabbage too

Great authentic tacos!!! Street taco style, no frills just meat and tortilla. Condiments are on a self serve station Must try. I will be back

Tacos were pretty good. Staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable. Wish they didn't use Styrofoam plates.

I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.

We ordered the chips and salsa trio to start, quesabirria, chicken and steak fajitas with corn equites and rice/beans as a side, and lastly the carnitas. Personally I got the carnitas and was shocked at the portion! The presentation was beautiful and overall it was quite tasty. The hard part with this meal was that the black bean puree was underneath all the meat and au jus so it was a bit challenging to scoop up and put in the tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we were pretty stuffed that we couldn't make it to dessert.
