Came here for the birria ramen which was decent, the broth was pretty good and they put a decent amount of meat. I also tried the asada tacos, which were just not good at all. The meat had 0 flavor, and it was super dry. Would only come back just for the birria ramen. read more

Ordered an asada burrito through Uber eats. It was nice and big but fail short of the burritos I am used to in LA. It wasn't as tasty so I didn't enjoy it as much. They didn't skim out on sauces as they provided one salsa verde and one red sauce along with some radish and lemon. Some places try to give you only one sauce. Come on now. We need more sauces! The flavor was a bit lacking and it was a 3.5 star experience but I am rounding up. read more

I ordered an all meat Carne Asada burrito and now I understand why. My burrito was filled to the brim with meat and was huge. That was one of the fullest meat burritos I've ever had. The meat was delicious and the onions, cilantro and salsa that came inside complimented it very well. Luckily, I was in and out with my order in less than five minutes, so that was great too. City of Chino, you've been blessed with a nice little gem here! They're open late and nothing we ate disappointed. My wife enjoyed her carne asada sope and taco, and I most definitely enjoyed my quesabirria tacos with consommé. It's on the corner of Pipeline and Riverside Dr., near the Weinerschnitzel. There's a little bit of seating available inside and there's a TV, Coke products (a win for me!), and refillable drinks as well as those Mexican bottled cokes to get too, and other soft drinks. Was looking for a late night meal and luckily Tacos el Juanito #2 is open late. The place itself is pretty small and crammed with a few tables inside an 2 outside. They have a self service drink station but no salsa bar. It was really packed when i went lots of in person orders and phone orders which was definitely a good sign. Service was super quick even though there was limited staff and the place was packed . I probably only had to wait 5 minutes or less for my order. I ordered the burrito bowl with cabeza and my boyfriend got the burrito with asada. Both items were really delicious. Portions were hefty and loaded with meat. We both enjoyed it and i would comeback to try some of their other items. read more

I always drive by this place and this past weekend I finally stopped by for some tacos. It's a small place with a few tables. I only tried the chorizo tacos and it had good flavor. My brother tried the tripa and pastor. I don't think the pastor is from a trompo I can be wrong. I will give it another try. read more

For a quick post-workout dinner, I stopped by Tacos el Juanito at 9pm. Predictably, I could make my order immediately at the counter. I got 5 tacos ($2.45 each cash / $2.55 each credit card). The tacos came with the usual diced onion and cilantro garnish, with lime wedges and radish slices on the side. The cashier also asked if I wanted grilled onions and peppers (of course). The tacos seemed generously topped with meat for their size. The tortilla shells seemed soft, fluffy, and warm. The meats themselves seemed acceptable. The asada, while crispy, felt dry and lacked the desired smokiness. The other meats also seemed subdued in flavor. The green salsa also seemed too light on flavor. Overall, the establishment seemed like a quotidian neighborhood taqueria. With the ubiquity of taqueries, however, it fails to stand out. read more

I wanted to gate keep this hole-in-the-wall establishment but it's just too good to not share! Tried tacos and burritos, both were delicious. This little place is really big in flavor's. We casually drive by this Mexican restaurant and decided to try it out. The menu has very good selection of tacos, burritos .. and my favorite quezabirria tacos!!! ... they where full of meat and really flavorful... the chef offered me some consome to dip the tacos it was delicious. 5 stars! The food at Tacos El Juanito 2 is absolutely delicious! The menudo was full of flavor, the tripitas were perfectly crispy (just how I like them), and the birria had amazing taste. The spicy salsa and the fresh handmade tortillas really took everything to the next level. What made the experience even better was the service. Ángel, the cashier, was super kind and helpful. The man who seemed to be the owner (I think it was Juan) was also very welcoming. You can really feel the hospitality here, and that made all the difference for us. This is what I also ordered during my disappointing food run for tonight. 1/5 chicken and carne asada tacos Their chicken had mild seasoning on it and nothing special. Their carne asada tacos were bland, and the tortilla they used was forgettable. 1/5 Chicken Mulita's chicken tasted old and not fresh, and it didn't have that Mexican umami I was craving. 3/5 Their carne asada burrito tasted ok but didn't have that home-made or Mexican umami flavor I was craving for. 5/5 service The friendly cashier hooked me up with extra salsas and provided grilled veggies. So far, in my opinion and with my taste buds, I enjoyed El Rey Tacos Y Mariscos in Corona, CA.
