A Go To Spot for Our Family We've been coming to this taco stand for years. We originally found it because it's near my parents' church, and it quickly became one of our family's favorite spots for birria. The Birria The birria is definitely the star here. We usually order the quesabirrias, small quesadillas filled with birria that are dipped in the flavorful birria broth. They're packed with flavor and always satisfy our cravings. You can also order a cup of consommé on the side, which pairs perfectly with the tacos. Seating and Atmosphere This is mainly a grab and go type of place, although they do have a few plastic tables set up in front of the truck. I've never actually sat there myself, but there are usually a few customers enjoying their food at the tables. The atmosphere feels casual, local, and welcoming. Drinks and Extras One thing that surprised me was that they carry Coke Zero, which isn't something I usually expect to find at a taco truck. It was a nice option to have available. Ordering and Payment Ordering is simple and straightforward. They accept both cash and cards, which makes things convenient. Hours and Availability One thing to keep in mind is that they aren't always there late into the evening like many taco stands. Their schedule can be a little different, and they tend to leave earlier than you might expect, so it's a good idea to check before making a special trip. Parking Parking can be a little challenging since the street is usually busy. We often spend a few minutes looking for a spot before ordering, which is one reason we typically grab our food and head home rather than stay. Wow. Haven't been able to stop thinking about these tacos since getting them. If you haven't been here or had birria tacos, this is the place to go. We ordered some regular birria tacos (tacos dorados) and some with cheese (tacos dorados con queso). Cash only still but they offer to-go or eat now options. We decided to eat there so it wouldn't risk getting soggy during the drive back. For the eat now option, the tacos are served on a plastic plate with a sheet of paper on top. Fairly nice presentation for a taco truck. They also have the onions and cilantro, limes, paper napkins, and straws on the counter so you can grab as much as you'd like. As for the food, the tacos are street taco size; I could easily eat 4-5 of these no problem. The meat is super flavorful and juicy, with just a bit of fat. It does get messy but just come prepared with some wet wipes. I also liked the slight crispiness of the taco shells as well as the consomme you order on the side. It's great for dipping the tacos into for extra flavor. The cheese version basically just has a layer of melted cheese on top. It was a bit harder to eat and didn't really add much to the taco to make it worth it. Overall we still have more birria places to try but its safe to say this place is one we'll be returning to again. The tacos are affordable ($1.25-1.75 each), the service was great and we had no issues finding the food truck. We may have lucked out with parking but this is worth walking a few blocks to get. read more

The tacos can easily stand alone but the consommé adds a spicyness and richness to each bite, changing the experience completely. The tacos dorados di birria are crunchy - served on corn tortillas, filled with onions and cilantro, chili oil and dipped in consommé, it's heaven in every bite. Pair then with a Coke to perfectly balance the sweetness with the salty and spicy tacos. Looking for something a little more rich, try the birria muleta or the quesataco di birria - the cheese adds an extra element of flavor that only enhances the flavor of the birria. This has by far the best birria ever! This taco stand is poppin every Sunday with a long line of hungry eager people waiting for their birria. On Sunday mornings they only serve birria and you can buy it in tacos, mulitas or alone in a bowl to go. The ladies working the stand are also super nice. Their birria tacos also have a nice crisp to them as they put birria juice/consume on the grill and crisp the tacos with it. As for the afternoons when they are out there, they have other meats such as carne asada, chorizo, lengua, cabeza/head and alpastor to mention a few. They make really delicious burritos too! They let you put the salsa/condiments in before they wrap the burrito; which I am super thankful for. I love that I dont have to take a bunch of packets to go. Their salsas are delicious!!! Best Birria Tacos I've had... I've drove past this food truck several times, and today was finally the day I decided to try it... Let me tell you I was not disappointed... Everything I ordered from here was amazing... The birria they sell is "de Res", which I love... Most places sell "de chivo" and I'm not a fan... I ordered tacos dorados, queso tacos, a mulita, a quesadilla and a large consome... It was alot of food and I only paid $20... Good food for a great price is my favorite ... The queso they use for the food is amazing it's so thick, flavorful and they use a lot of it so it's a great combination with the birria... The consome was really good to, great to dip the tacos and quesadilla in... They have the salsa and condiments set up in the front so you can help yourself... All 3 salsas are good and have so much flavor... I definitely recommend trying these birria tacos and will be coming back soon... This is a new taco stand that was started by some birria lovers. They're open at 8am on weekends, and serve birria tacos. You can order the tacos normal or crispy. Crispy tacos are dipped in sauces then cooked on the burner. They're filled with a decent amount of birria (goat) and are $1 each. They also have salsa Roja and salsa verde, with some other fixings. The stand doesn't look like much now, but it's well worth stopping at after a night of drinking or for some hearty birria tacos. read more
