Beef milanesa cemitas, held up verry well after 30 minute drive.

What a pleasant surprise, I tried for the first time their cemitas; Delicious, had it to go and drove another 30 minutes. The sandwich held up verry well. The flavors were just in the right proportions making the whole experience enjoyable. I did not know this place existed; driving g from the west side, I yelped cemitas and pop there it was. I was hesitant to exit the frw at 11 pm, but acces was so easy, definitely a place to remember when driving by this area. I had the beef milanesa.

The food was really good! I came here for the second time and they did not disappoint, especially for their price.

Nice set up with tents tables and chairs.

Took a drive to East LA to try this truck last night. Super friendly team and you can watch them assemble your cemita right in front of you. They have a nice set up with tents tables and chairs too. This meal took me back to Puebla (except the view of the 60 freeway). Cemita with milanesa de res quesillo chipotle papalo and like an entire avocado. So good and so messy. Go get one! Cemitas Poblanas El Chivo On the corner of S. Eastern and Gleason. Plenty of street parking.

A-friekin-mazing! Best cemitas i have ever had. I rarely eat red meat, so I opted for the milanesa de pollo cemita. The layers of vegetables added multiple flavors that elevated the cemita's bite experience. Onions, avocado, oaxacan cheese, epazote, chipotle, and pickled, small sweet red peppers....wow! The cemita bread was a bit crunchy. You can definitely share a cemita, but why would you want to share it? We tried a taco arabe and decided this business shines with their cemitas. We wouldn't order taco arabes again, but cemitas heck, yes.

Chicken cemita

Stumbled on this cemitas taco truck and wow--total hidden gem! Everything looked so good, I was already drooling before I ordered. The food? Fire. The vibe? Chill, friendly, and full of flavor (just like the salsa). I left full, happy, and slightly ashamed of how fast I inhaled my food. 100% coming back with stretchy pants and zero regrets.

I've been craving a milanesa for 7 years now and when I found out they had them in LA, I had to check them out. Got here Saturday night and there was a line ahead of us. We placed an order of 5 milanesas and tacos, and it was not a long wait at all. Everyone here is super nice, working super fast to get the customers' food out. They also have a lot of self-serve/unlimited toppings. This location is extremely generous in their food portions, and really nice. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

It was my first time here, so I wasn't sure where to go at first, but it's pretty easy to figure out. They have separate lines for tacos, burritos, and aguas frescas, which keeps everything organized and moving smoothly. I went straight for the tacos. I ordered two carne asada, one chorizo, and one al pastor. The condiment setup was also really good. Let me tell you, this hit the spot! I loved the grilled onions, serranos, hot sauce, and especially the curtido de habanero,so good. The carne asada was okay slightly on the tougher side but the chorizo and al pastor were really solid. Taco prices are fair, but the aguas frescas felt a bit on the expensive side. Overall, I'd definitely come back again.

I came here for dinner on a week night and my experience here was pretty good. I had the asada and al pastor tacos with all the toppings and they were both so good and full of meat and heat. The toppings can be spicy for some, so be warned. My favorite of the two was the all pastor which was flavorful and I did like the thinly shaved meat. It was not dry at all and was fresh. I also tried the mulita with al pastor meat and that was also soso good. Cheesy, meaty, and indulgent. The additional topping section had good variety with pickled onions, cucumbers, etc. and everything seemed pretty fresh. Unfortunately, they were pretty much out of the roasted pepper and grilled onions at the time I went. To drink, I had the horchata and that was also very delicious. It was huge, sweet, and creamy. I also loved how it was not grainy at all. A good pairing with the rich foods. They also have a good amount of seating at the stand with a long table and multiple chairs. Parking is tricky since its street parking only.

Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

We found easy street parking in the neighborhood on 41st Street, and waited in line for about 15-20 minutes. We ordered the asada tacos. They pre-sauce your tacos, which was fine by me, but my boyfriend who can't handle as much spice would've preferred it on the side (so warning for anyone similar! they do put a little habanero on them, so just ask them for salsa on the side). I think I ran into a problem of reading too many raving reviews -- these tacos were good but I was expecting them to be mind blowing, so I was a little disappointed. I tasted the charcoal char, but kind of wished the taste was more pronounced, or at least the meat more seasoned. The hand made tortillas were definitely the coolest part, but I thought they were a little dry too. The ladies whipping those out are artists though. Actually, all the workers here have the assembly line down to the tea, and they definitely add a little flare for a show. I particularly liked how they had a lot of seating at this location, instead of just a couple stools lying around like most taco trucks. It felt more like outdoor patio seating than a normal taco stand. They could probably take more time to wipe down tables more often though. Overall would visit again if in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for the tacos here.

The ceviche is bright with lime and the cocteles are lush and briny with a tomatoey kick, and the aguachiles hit with sharp citrus, fresh herbs, and it's a really decent amount of fish. If you're looking for a more traditional hot entree get the Filete al Cabrón: grilled sea bass with cilantro-lime rice, beans, and warm flour tortillas. Simple and so comforting. We ordered the large guacamole and chips, the smoked kanapachi tostada, kanapachi taco, camarones al mojo, filete el carbon, erizo sea urchin ,and sparkling lemonades. The seafood is insanely fresh. The ceviche is incredible. The branzino was tender. The guacamole was expertly made with both the acidity and seasonings well balanced. The lemonades were ok. The black beans were cooked well. These were truly the epitome of street tacos and absolutely nothing about the vibe, the service, and the FOOD, disappointed. Immediately upon arrival, I noticed the long line of people and said to myself, either this place is really good or really slow. It took me longer to decide what I wanted to try than what it took for the line to move and for it to be my turn to order. So yea, these folks are FAST and very courteous as well. They have real Al Pastor on the trompo (the spit) so of course I ordered pastor tacos and a pastor mulita. I also ordered a few SUADERO tacos which you don't find just anywhere. I am still raving about the amount of meat and flavor of the food here, it's insanely delicious. Once you get your food you make your way down to the end of the taco stand where you are met with an amazing array of fresh taco fixings and salsas. The pink creamy-habanero was the best and the green/red salsas followed right behind. I can't wait to go back to this place. I like that they were open late to satisfy a late night taco craving. Even though there is typically a line they are quite efficient with orders and even have a parking lot/outdoor dining space in addition to their indoor space so it doesn't feel cramped. It was my first visit so I had to get a mix of their tacos and burritos with the various meats they serve. It was a nice fact to know their tortillas have some lard also so it adds a nice flavor as well. + Burrito 2.0 (asada) + Chivichanga (chicken and beef) + Tacos (chorizo, tripe, cabeza, asada) I enjoyed the burrito with asada and thought it was good portion size for the cost. The guac, cheese, and beans pair well with the meat and has a nice grill on the tortilla. The tacos were a solid size as well but I was surprised to find the tripe as my favorite because they fry it and it adds a nice crunch/texture change. The cabeza was a close second with the stewed flavors. The chivichangas were also tasty but not the traditional chimichanga I was anticipating. It's definitely on the softer side as everything mixes together and there's not much of a texture change. Worth trying if you are curious though. I ordered to go so I didn't see if they have a salsa bar but I did have to pay $.10 per to go container which would be nice if they were free. However, I liked mixing their red and green salsa with each bite. I am curious to try their avocado salsa next time. Overall, I thought the portion sizes were good for the prices and I felt full afterwards.
