Seating is outside, perfect for a nice day. Oscar and the team are amazing -- they genuinely treat you like family and make the experience even better. You can feel the love they put into the food. Highly recommend. This spot is a must-try and I'll definitely be back.

It's always taco time so I wanted to give this place a try. Decided to stick to corn tortillas…read moresince they make them on site (but still a fan of flour tortillas). Wound up ordering a birria quesadilla and 3 Al pastor tacos. All with corn tortillas but they charge you $2 extra for corn tortilla on the quesadilla but they didn't charge for the consume which was good. The corn tortilla for the quesadilla was a bit thick for my preference but I think that's the only way to keep all the meat inside and not break. I suggest getting the flour tortilla on quesadillas. But, the birria meat and consume were really good. And, you get a lot of meat in a quesadilla. It's big enough for 2 people. Al pastor was good too. Still need to try the carne asada. They charge 2% fee for credit cards so bring cash unless you ordered online. No parking except street parking which can suck around dinner time as they get busy. They also have few seats inside so you see people order ahead (online or phone) and double park to pick up. And, it's best if you speak some Spanish to communicate. Having said all this, perhaps a 3.5 is my rating.

The carne en su jugo tastes just like the one in Guadalajara, Mexico; fresh, comforting, and full of tradition. You can tell everything is made with care and real authenticity. Greetings, Flavor Budz!…read more I wanted to share a review for Wendy, the owner and operator, regarding her welcoming establishment. She was incredibly hospitable, especially since my husband and I were new patrons to her eatery. Naturally, I was craving tacos, as I often do. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this family-friendly eatery so close by. As you may know, they specialize in Birria, which, incidentally, is an impressive rendition of a traditional home-cooked meal. What I found most enjoyable about my dining experience was the grilled shells, which provided a delightful crunch. I appreciate various textures in my food, so I have specific preferences for how certain dishes are prepared. The flavors and seasoning combinations were also quite complimentary. I ordered the tacos, ramen, and quesabirria, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is prepared with care, and it is a family-owned business. They have now become a cherished part of my inner circle. Wendy, you and your family are truly gems, and I thank you for your hospitality.

The OG spot for authentic, loaded tacos in Gardena I've…read morebeen a regular at El Antojito for years, and it remains one of my go-to taco trucks in the South Bay. If you're looking for high-quality, authentic street tacos at a reasonable price, this is the spot. Why I keep coming back: * The Tacos: They come 'fully loaded' and are incredibly consistent. I'm picky about my onions, and they are always happy to accommodate requests, which I truly appreciate. * Efficiency: The staff is consistently friendly, and even when it's busy, the food comes out fast. * The Vibe: It's a truck with a casual outdoor seating area, making it easy to grab a quick, fresh bite. * The Bonus: Don't skip the small shop on the same lot they have the best treats. I highly recommend grabbing an elote or a mangonada to round out your meal. If you haven't tried them yet, add this to your rotation. It's exactly the kind of local gem that keeps the neighborhood food scene great!

In the last couple of years, the competition for street tacos has gotten fierce. Some street taco stands even make their tortillas on the spot while preparing your meal. Unfortunately, this place hasn't evolved to meet the challenges and match the competition. The food is not bad, don't get me wrong, but it's not worth going out of your way for it. There is plenty of street parking and lots of tables in an open space area. Bring sweaters and jackets if the weather calls for rain or it's cold. The seating area is under the roof but there are no walls to protect you from the wind.
