If you're looking for a refreshing seafood cocktail this is your place. Rafa's has been around for as long as I can remember, located just off the 110 freeway it's a convenient place to pick up lunch. Typically when seafood is this good that's all that's on the menu, but Rafa's is the exception if you're not into seafood. Everything on the menu is scrumptious, tacos, quesadillas, burritos you name it. Today I decided on a campechana which is a cold tomato based cocktail with veggies and an assortment of seafood. It was delicious to say the least. Flavorful broth and fresh seafood make this a great option especially on a warm day. I also ordered a grilled shrimp vampiro that left me speechless. First time trying this, a crispy tortilla shell with melted cheese and whatever protein topping you choose. Very consistent food quality will keep bringing me back. Friendly service from all the workers here is a definite. Plenty of parking around this establishment, with a few picnic style tables. Give Rafa's a try and guaranteed you will be back. Overpriced for quality and portions in return. Ordered a carne asada burrito that was not any bigger than those frozen ones you purchase at the frozen section in the supermarket. Hardly tasted any carne asada mostly filled with rice. You know it is not a well served burrito when you cannot take a bite because it is falling apart of how sloppy it was. Great flavor in the sauces unfortunately was not about to enjoy all of the sauce since i ran out of food so quick. An underrated roach coach located in the sketchy city of Gardena. The trash littered streets, broke down RVs and cracked ,dirty, uneven pavements really tie it all in. My thinking is that the sketchier the place the better the street food and this is no exception. They serve all the typical Mexican food, but I've only ever gotten the tacos and burritos.
