The burrito itself is so good, and they give a bunch of different delicious hot sauces and pickled vegetables on the side (I usually ask, but I think they still include it even if you don't). Eric was at the register today. The usual guy that is at the register was not there. I asked for three vegetarian tacos and they gave me 3 carne Asada tacos and when I got home I saw it and had to come back. Which sucked! I told them the order was incorrect and they made me 3 vegetarian tacos with pieces of carne Asada hidden in it!!!!! That is so F***ed UP!!! I used to go here all the time. Al Pastor used to be amazing. But it's so inconsistent. One day it'll be great, one day you're finding chunks of fat and what looks like uncooked strip of skin. Disgusting. They'll also reheat meats from the day before and just add a ton of sauce to it trying to spruce it back up but all it will do is give you greasy ass tacos. Get it together. We get a late dinner here once a week on the way home from an appointment and bring it home to the hungry ones. The tacos are great! We love the suadero (brisket), carnitas, asado, and pastor. The chicken is really good, also, not dry or overcooked. Recently, we have branched out from the tacos. I recommend the mulitas (homemade corn tortillas, cheese and meat, like a quesadilla) and tortas. The quesadilla doesn't travel quite as well, but was tasty. Their green sauce is spicy, the avocado sauce is good. They send packs of onions, cilantro, radishes and cucumbers home with us. The cucumbers turned out to be too hot for our tastes, so we don't get them anymore. The guys taking the orders are friendly and great. Highly recommend this truck. read more

Move over La Doña! Tacos El Pollo is awesome! I drove by the truck a few nights ago and was curious. A quick yelp check yielded little reviews, but I decided to take a gamble and came with boyfriend for a quick late night snack. There were 2 people in line but it was seriously dead. I thought we might've made a big mistake, but guessed it was because it was Saturday night around 11PM and figured people were still out partying? Also we gave it the benefit of the doubt as it's only recently popped up. We got carne asada and al pastor and the food came out really fast! They didn't skimp on meat. The condiments table had tons more than other taco trucks I've been to. Red salsa (which is a good spicy!), green salsa, onions, cilantro (separate from onions so all the cilantro haters can rejoice), lemons, radishes, grilled peppers, and a marinated bucket of cucumbers and onions (mmm!). The al pastor was good, but I don't think it knocked my socks off. It was decent though and I'd order it again. The star of the show was of course the carne asada. It was incredibly tender and juicy, just enough grease. We didn't have much room for other meats but I need to come back and try everything else. They service is quick, and very friendly! Best brisket torta ever! Not sure what they do to get the texture of the bread, the brisket, lettuce and cheese to all work together so perfectly, but it's something to behold. I'm always sad after the last bite. The meat for the tacos is seasoned pretty perfectly. Make sure you get the Guac, the green salsa, and DO NOT MISS the RED Salsa! It's a masterpiece. My wife loves their quesadillas. Forget everything you know about quesadillas. This is the real thing. Everything is terrific you can't go wrong here! The Horchata is one of the most delicious I've ever had and the perfect companion to put out the fire of their red salsa which is a must to accompany everything they make.
