Al pastor and asada tacos with beans and rice
    Diann N.

A friend wanted tacos for Cinco de Mayo and asked me to meet here. A new place for the both of us. Unfortunately for the price of this combo plate, the best thing here was the horchata and fairly clean. We were the only ones here that Monday for early dinner. The rice was so dry I left most of it on the plate. Beans and al pastor were bland. Asada was ok. You order and pay first.

    Side of rice very tasty.

First time here on a Tuesday for their Tuesday Tacos. We ordered 3 asada, 2 al pastor and 1 carnitas to try with a side of rice. We loved the Al pastor the best, then asada. The carnitas taco was a little bland however not dry at all. Their rice was also flavorful. We loved our meal, very good prices and tasty. The store is very clean and service was great, very friendly folks. Inside are plenty of tables for dine in. Parking is plenty. We will definitely come back soon when we want some tacos.

Five plain asada tacos, one regular asada taco, one regular al pastor taco, asada quesadilla, side of chips and salsa.

Love the food from Tacos El Rancho. Been coming here for a few years now. There aren't a lot of authentic street tacos near me and this one's close by, so whenever I'm craving and don't feel like going far, this is my go to! I love that it's an inexpensive yet quality eat, delicious. My friends and I got Asada, Pollo and Al Pastor Tacos and a Combination Plate with Asada. I've gotten their quesadilla and chips before too and I love it. Both their red and green salsa are good! Don't forget to ask for lime and Radish. Is this my favorite spot? No. Is it good? Yes!! Really not sure why it only has three and a half stars, I feel like it should have at least four stars! I will say I think this place tastes better than Taco Rigoberto's Bros taco truck in Santa Ana and that place was very popular. I remember one time when I had Rigoberto's and I wasn't satisfied so I went and got Tacos El Rancho on the way home haha! I wouldn't go out of my way to get this but if I'm in the area I would definitely get it and I live really close so I come more often than not. They have inside seating, love! There's never been a wait for me when I go. They're located in a small strip mall with a free parking lot so no issues with parking. You can use card but I think they still charge you a fee. Service is quick and they are nice. Very casual spot to eat or get takeout.

Carne asada tacos. Small size. Very good!

It's not bad, I feel like it used to be much better tasting and almost half the price so it was a great deal. But like anywhere else the prices went up and at this point I don't know if it's worth it. It's not bad though just not as good as it used to be.

What a gem!! Do not sleep on this spot, they have some of the best cabeza and lengua tacos north of SD! My husband and I dropped by for a late night snack and they quickly accommodated us. The tortillas the tacos are served on are delicious and the meat is braised to perfection tenderness. Is definitely our spot now for these hard to find meats.

Pretty good tacos in this neighborhood. Cabeza and al pastor are delicious. Buche is a little bit gamey. Lengua is my least favorite. Red salsa is spicier than green. Horchata is tasty as always.

Yummy cheap food for Taco Tuesday. Fast service. Plenty of indoor seating. Good amount of parking. Polite, helpful staff.

We started doing a game where we'd pick something random on the menu, just to see if it was a miss. That's how good everything is here. From the carnitas plate, to the tacos a la cart and the Camerones that remind me of the day my husband proposed to me after a day in Bajamar. The service is also everything - they've got a great team dynamic and always seem to be talking about what's next in the kitchen, what needs to be prepared or what to turn over and make fresh. The cherry on top has to either be the custom made salsa bar or every single Mexican soda you can think of. Dine in, outside or takeaway. The ambiance is really all because of the food and how it feeds your belly and soul.

I can guarantee that neither my family nor my staff team will ever be eating here again, be expecting them to review your business in kind. I cordially told him that I took the right amount of salsa needed for the 4 paid tacos and chips, contained in 1 quarter of a small sandwich bag which he handed me. So later I can evenly distribute this portion into 4 empty sauce cups along with another quarter of a sandwich bag of misc vegies: 1 spoon of diced onions, 3 thin slices of carrots, 2 chilli peppers, and 4 slices of lime, all mixed inside one-fourth of that bag to be splitted among 3 different staff members. Value -- 4/5 14$ meal as You do get a lot of fries. The fish is a tad bit thin. Mainly getting more batter than fish ratio. Not sure if they have malt vinegar as I didn't see any around. Service was good and there's a decent amount of seating inside with cute little marine themed decor. Lobster roll combo with the soup ($32) - I got the Maine style (cold) lobster roll which had really good flavor and the amount of lobster was really nice. I wish they pushed the lobster down into the roll a little more instead of stacking it on top to make it look fuller because it made it a lot harder to eat. The side salad was okay. I liked the clam chowder a lot. Fries and tater tots were perfectly crispy! Flaming hot lobster fries ($25): This feels a bit overpriced for what it is and kind of lackluster. Fries were good and crispy but the cheese wasn't melted well. Lobster is thrown on there and I think it would be better with cheeto dust versus the random cheetos thrown on top. Fish tacos ($15): You get three tacos which is decent pricing. The fish was crispy and flavor is basic but good. All in all, a good spot to get your lobster roll fix without having to drive too far!
