Overall it was a good experience when I arrived I opted for the drive thru since it was hot and it was not disappointed. When I arrived I was greeted with a pleasant salutation and I proceeded to order my food. I opted for the birria value combo and I must say it was pretty decent. The only downside is that there was no onion or cilantro for the tacos and the beverage could have been a bit larger. This still filled me up and it was very worth the price. I'm really disappointed with my experience today. I spent around 30 minutes trying to place a lunch order through the app using a lunch menu deal, but the app kept glitching and wouldn't let me complete my order. When I went to the restaurant and explained what happened, I asked if they could honor the lunch menu or coupon, but the employee said they couldn't. I understand policies are policies, but it was frustrating to waste so much time on the app and still not be helped in person. The whole experience was really inconvenient, especially during my work lunch break. I hope they fix the app issues and train staff to handle these situations with a little more understanding. read more

They have the best horchata here hands down! It's always fresh, creamy, and perfectly sweetened. I also want to shout out Yaskara for her excellent customer service. She was friendly, attentive, and makes the experience better. That said, my experience here has been a bit inconsistent. Today, the service was great and everything in my order was correct, which I really appreciated. However, on other visits, they've often messed up my order or have forgotten item especially things I paid extra for. It gets frustrating when you're excited for your food and something's missing. Overall, the food and drinks are good, but I wish they were more consistent with accuracy and attention to detail. Still worth stopping by just double check your order before leaving ! read more

Came here ordered five tacos with the green sauce on the side just to get home and start eating my food and the meat was burnt. I mean you can taste the burn mess. The salsa was like Jell-O. We ordered 4 burritos and we asked for different things for every burrito and nothing was labeled. Unfortunately my friend is allergic to guacamole and we couldn't tell which one was which until opened up but then realized it was all messed up. This place is a godsend when your crew is hungry late at night. WestCal Academy runs apprenticeship training programs across California. We were conducting training programs in Lancaster till late at night. We were craving some awesome Mexican food and homemade horchata. The food is awesome and their staff is very cool. Food quality needs improvement. Very bland and not much flavor except for the salsa. Tiny tacos, tiny fries and portions for big prices. There is no complementary chips or salsa and when I asked for a water cup they said no that I would have to purchase a water. Walked in and was the only customer inside. After standing by the counter for a while someone finally told me to order off the kiosk because she was busy. Back of house doesn't look too clean but neither does the front. I picked a table based on which one didn't have dried salsa and food stuck to it. A wet rag would have done wonders if someone just bothered to give the tables a wipe. I ordered an asada burrito and horchata. I don't know what it is, but literally this is the third time I have come to this establishment and received the wrong order - literally containing the same item. I usually get the fries with asada and jalapeños with queso only -(amongst other things). For some reason, they cannot get that right. I had to go back three times in the last month and a half for them to correct it and neither time do they offer any type of complementary anything. The fact that I even had to demand that they give me something complementary is ridiculous. Additionally, when I get back to the restaurant, they act like I'm the one who did something wrong. No sorry, no my bad, no nothing! And what sucks is I do like this place but what is it with them getting my food order wrong every single time?? And something told me to pull over and check my food, but I told myself, "naw they'll get it right this time." I would've been much better if they acknowledged in person their fault and apologized, but the fact that I had to waste my gas to go back up there to get a corrected order without any acknowledgment is what led me to leave this review. The food was not good at all. We went through the drive thru I had already had a bad experience, but I thought I would try it again. I got some nachos. The chips seemed stale and I asked to switch the nacho choice to the regular grated cheese They said it would be an additional $2.20 I believe, so I just left the nacho cheese and then to add meat. The birria tacos are very good. The meat is very soft and not spicy. It says the tortillas are hand made.. Both salsas are very tasty, but the green one is my favorite becauseits not spicyand its veryflavorful. They told me that the Taco Tuesday special is also other types of meat also. Never EVER coming back . First I noticed I was overcharged at the establishment she said my total was $36 and some change but my bank says other wise she charged me 43 and some change ..
