Much more open, better vibe and there is also an outdoor bar. We were greeted quickly by a very friendly waitress and given menus. We ordered drinks and they came out pretty quick. Throughout the time we spent for dinner we were checked on frequently not only by our waitress but also by other staff passing by. The food was what you would expect from an Americanized Mexican restaurant. Decent size portions that were fair to the menu pricing. Everything was prepared well and tasted fresh. I very much enjoyed the salsa that came out right away. It actually had a decent amount of heat to it. By far some of the better salsa I've had at a Mexican restaurant. We also ordered margaritas and they were excellent. Be warned, the skinny margarita is a whopping $6 more than the standard house marg making it $16! Not sure why but it is and you've been warned. The service is usually great and fast. And the food hot and fresh and just makes you smile. We go here regularly and I love the enchiladas de mole on a cold night! This place, however, truly delivers the authenticity you expect. Every detail was spot on. They use crema instead of sour cream, the enchilada sauce is thick and has a great spicy kick, and they stick with traditional staples like corn tortillas. You can tell they care about doing things the right way. Overall, the meal was outstanding--easily some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The portions were very generous. The beans were creamy with a nice amount of cheese mixed in, and the rice was full of flavor--you could taste the chicken bouillon, tomato, and spices in every bite. Everything was topped with cotija cheese and served with a fresh, well-done salad. All of that was just $12 for a three-enchilada plate, which is an incredible value for the quality and portion size. This is probably the best Mexican food I've ever had, and I think everyone should give it a try.

Not very good. They packaged the pork apart from the sauce, which I thought was smart. But by the time I got home, they were rock-hard, dry, and virtually inedible. Not smart. Rest of food was ok. In a crowded category like Mexican cuisine, you probably have to do better. Maybe we should have dined in, so I will try again and update this review when I do.
