This was given to us as a recommendation from a local to try instead of Tacos El Fenix. Loved this restaurant! I'm so glad we made the choice to try this place out as it definitely exceeded our expectations. I tried the shrimp taco, fish taco, and chile relleno. They were all so delicious and super affordable. We paid $30 pesos per taco and it was worth every penny. The Chile relleno was a new taco that I've never tried and wow! I loved it. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you come to Ensenada!

Absolutely delicious fish and shrimp taco stand! Hard working and friendly staff. Food came out promptly and couldn't be more delicious. Don't forget to grab all the fixings and grab a seat or enjoy while standing. Cash only - enjoy!!

Delicious fried seafood tacos. I went with one shrimp and one fish. They come loaded with salsa, lettuce and a cream sauce, but of course off about 7 extra sauces, lime and additional condiments if that's not enough. The Jamaica (hibiscus juice) and horchata (cinnamon rice drink) both make for a perfect pairing with the tacos to cool down the added spicy sauces, especially the horchata. Friendly staff. Possibly a family-run operation. Very affordable. Dollars accepted.

Great fish tacos and even better shrimp ones. Really liked the crispy and flavorful batter. The tortillas seemed freshly made and served warm and soft. The salsas were also tasty. A must try when in Ensenada!

Great tasting tacos - available only fish and shrimp (pescado y camaron) very affordable prices one star off they're heavily breaded and deep fried I'll buy them but not often, pretty heavy on the tummy, not something you want to eat every day. Wish they had options for non-breaded fish and shrimp options.

This is what it's all about. If you go to Ensenada and don't experience eating these fish tacos then you are a loser. When you finally order you don't pay but you take a place around the fish taco assembly bar. Then you just keep ordering more until you explode and fly all around like a balloon. The best fish tacos I've ever eaten are in this small wooden hut on the corner. Shrimp is good too. You're welcome

Fish Taco with cabbage, pico de gallo, and their green sauce. These are the best fish street tacos in ensenada. Must try!!

These tacos were the highlight of our visit to Ensenada. Delicious and fresh! We tried both the pescado and camarones tacos.

Tiny little shack, lots of options for salsa, plenty of limes, and sweet women who run it! Perfectly crispy fish and shrimp in the tacos. Would definitely come back, delicious!

This place is one of my favorite taco spots In Ensenada. The tacos are amazing and the ladies making the tacos are legit like your Tia!

    Fast, friendly, tasty!

Tasty fish tacos! We were going to go to another place, but our Uber guy said to try this place instead. It's beloved by locals and for a good reason. It's a tiny little place on the corner that slings flavorful tacos de amor. The salsas are super fresh and the service is very friendly. Love it!

There are many little taco stands in this area if ensanada. Today I stopped into this one to try some fish or shrimp tacos. I fell in love with the fish tacos. Just amazing. Also they have really tasty and spicy condiments and salsas. At 18 pesos(about $1usd) per taco, or a 5 taco combo for about 80 pesos, the value is fantastic. Fast service at this little cart. Just walk up, and order and it comes fast. I will definitely be coming back here.

Their fish tacos with pico de Gallo, cabbage, fish sauce, and spicy but delicious red hot sauce!

The best fish tacos I have had in a long time! They are set up on a small corner and their cart is a bit small, so it can be easy to miss. BUT if you are near the downtown area of Ensenada, this is the spot to visit! It's just about 5 minutes away from the port- and it's worth the quick trip. We paid about 180 pesos for 5 tacos and 2 cokes, which is extremely cheap! It'd be nice if they had a bit more space for people to stand around and order and receive their food, but that's what the whole "street" food experience is about. Can't wait to go back and have some more of their tacos!

We got beef asada and fried fish pescado. I believe it was only $2.50 per taco so not the cheapest but definitely by far the most affordable and yummy in the touristy area. It's a perfect walkable distance from the cruise port. You can pay USD cash and it shows on their payment terminal the conversion. I don't know how to double check if the conversion was 100% accurate but just from a little google go the current conversion and counting out how many tacos we ordered, everything seemed to check out!! They have tables for you to sit at inside but open facing so you're covered from the sun/rain. It comes with 3 different salsas, bowl of limes, and my favorite part is the grilled jalapeño and green onions - omg so good! I'll definitely be coming back if I'm in town. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the Asada just needed more flavor and not as cooked. I prefer a juicy medium Asada but I know that that's not how it's always eaten, just wish there was more flavor. Coming from Arizona I fortunately get to eat a lot of amazing Mexican food!

But figured I needed a better way to eat it while visiting Ensenada again with my wife. So this time, went to the nearby sister restaurant, Sabina. It's named for the owner of the original food stand, and there are a lot of pictures of her with other celebrities who appreciated her talent in creating seafood combinations. The Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant is within walking distance from the cruise port, and is located in an area with a lot of other restaurants and shops. We came there soon after it opened around 10 am, and had the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We showed that we were coming from California, by choosing indoor seating. We were given colorful menus and suggestions. We also got complementary chips and salsa, with 4 different varieties of her famous salsas being served. I tried all four of them, and two of them were way too hot, even in moderation. I did really like the green salsa, which tasted more like a simple guacamole. It also came with thinly slices of lime...each small slice producing so much more juice than any lime we get in California. My wife doesn't like raw seafood, so chose garlic shrimp (Caramones al Mojo de Ajo for Mex$405). There were plenty of jumbo headless, shell-on white shrimp, with the butter sauce being very light and not too garlicky. It came with a very good rice pilaf and sauteed vegetables (mostly squash which neither of us are a fan of). I went with 3 choices from the 5 selection 'Champion' list: 1. Erizo con Almeja (Sea Urchin with Clam for Mex$230) - winner of LA Street Food Fest 2011 for Best Original Showmanship 2. Caracol con Lajas de Caracol (Mixed Ceviche with Sea Snail for Mex$209) - winner of LA Street Food Fest 2012 for Best in Show 3. Singapur (Mex$209) - winner of LA Street Food Fest 2013 for unknown category). All three were piled high with fresh seafood, embellished with perfectly ripe avocado slices. None of them needed additional salsa, but adding a squeeze of lime enhanced. My favorite was the Singapore and would try the other two tostadas on the winners list the next time. The best way would be to order all the tostadas and split amongst a group of 4 or 5 friends (there are 6 other special tostadas and you can also create your own with the fresh seafood ingredients). Got two bottles of water (Mex$75 each...not cheap) and a local beer (Vera Niega Mexican Ale, a bottle being Mex$110) that was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly throughout, with multiple servers (Horacio and Antonio) attending to us, all trying to make sure we had a good time. Credit cards are accepted, using a modern tableside POS, and I was happy to pay a gratuity over what is customary. Bathrooms are modern, with individual stalls (most of them gender neutral) all sharing a nice common set of sinks. My wife and I left in fine spirits and it was beginning to fill up more as we left (all dining al fresco, of course). Dining at the nearby original food cart is worth the initial experience, but there is something to having food this good in a sit-down restaurant. Sabina is that place.

This is a spot that you can sit down and drink a beer and get the same amazing seafood. My favorites were the sea urchin tostada as well as the bluefin tostada with fried leaks on top of it. A bonus is that they give you salsa and chips with four different types of salsas. We also grabbed a couple of beers in margaritas which were amazing as well. This is a great spot for a well-known sit down restaurant for seafood tostadas.
