    Tacos!
    Cliff N.

Mas Tacos has become a regular lunch tradition for me due to the variety, flavor and happy hour deals! The seating is plentiful at booths, tables or the bar and has a nice patio outside area with comfortable seating throughout. The cocktails are tasty and not too small! But it's really the tacos that keep me coming back, street style with a long list of choices. The service has been mostly good but occasionally slow, however the vibe is relaxed so the pace is slower and more relaxed which is preferred. They have traditional tacos and some unique tacos, with Pork Al Pastor my go to with pineapple and marinated pork that always satisfies, Drunken Chicken with its tomatillo and beer braised chicken, Baja Fish is blackened salmon with tapatio aioli and jalapenos, Pork Carnitas is juicy and always a pleaser, and the more exotic Bahn Mi Shrimp served on a delicious split bun, and the Thai Beef is always flavorful! Muy Mas!

This place is fun place 2 try. They have several taco options. The decor is bright & a delight!!! I had 2 try their blackberry margarita & it was a hit!!! I also got their fried fish taco & a surf & turf taco. The fish taco didn't disappoint. The surf & turf: flavors were there, but the steak was tough & hard 2 chew. There was a green & a red sauce on the table that u could add 2 your taco. If u like spicy, I suggest using the red 1, I loved it!!! Service was amazing as the staff was very attentive, friendly, & speedy!!! Definitely a must try spot!!!

    Corn!

I'm giving this restaurant five stars because it has good service, a cool atmosphere, cold beer, generous portions, and great 1/2 price happy hour deals on food. I stopped in for happy hour and order grilled corn for $2.12, Mas Fries for $6.25, and a bikini blond ale for $7.00. The corn was topped with mayonnaise, chili powder, cotija cheese, and cilantro, but mostly on the top, so it could have used a more even coat. The Mas Fries were doused in generous portion of steak, cilantro crema, guacamole, avocado, roasted poblanos, yellow corn, red peppers, and cotija cheese. The fries were so big, I almost tapped out and ask for a doggie bag, but managed to power my way through them. It helped that I had an ice cold, refreshing to was everything down. Well, it was a lot of food for $8.37, so I'm looking forward to my next face-stuffing visit. But it's not just about the food. This restaurant also has a cool bar, impressive selection of drinks, shady outdoor seating, and a friendly group of servers.

First time came here on Tuesday at 2 pm. Service was slow even though it was pretty empty. Took awhile for the waiter to come take our order. The only thing we all liked was the habanero fire balls. We ordered these tacos: pork al pastor, drunken chicken, Baja fish, and birria. Meat was rough on all the tacos and food was cold. Also, ordered enchiladas de pollo. Meat was burnt and dried. The rice was overcooked or maybe a day old. Each bite you take it's like biting tiny rocks. Will not be back. The restaurant seemed clean and spacious though.

Overall was good. Good prices for things. My favorite was the battered fish because of the sauce the fish itself didn't have much flavor. The bahn mi one was ok, again just not enough flavor for me. I did get a third that I don't remember the name of but it was all fish too but it was great! Overall good experience minus them forgetting the chips and salsa and meat in my friends burrito bowl. But service for pickup was nice and going during their happy hour is a steal! Great prices then.

Solid Cadillac margs and the bartender is always awesome. Tacos are interesting. Good menu with unique options.

Absolutely delicious food! A vegan twist of traditional tacos and I loved it. The restaurant decore is modern Mexican rustic. Casual vibes with good food! Service was good. I would come back!

Honestly I don't get out tomorrow's Taco very often. I do enjoy their Rewards program because they always give me $10 around my birthday. I usually buy it there fries they're loaded fries are very good. I've experienced other menu items in the past, I just don't live nearby a mas Taco to go more often. The drinks are very good too and you can have a seat at the bar if you choose to.

Came here on Cinco de Mayo (5/5/26). It's Tuesday and 3:50pm. This day only though they are not doing Happy Hour nor Taco Tuesday. This was a large part of why I came here. I wish the waittress/ hostess had told that when she saw me looking at the menu at the entrance instead of telling me after sitting me down and bringing me water. Instead today they have a Cinco de Mayo deal only. $40 Taco Tower (10 regular tacos -- choice of Carne Asada, Drunken Chicken, or Pork Carnitas), $65 Taco Tower + Gigante Margarita, $13 Hibiscus Margarita, $13 Red Daisy Margarita, and some kind of Piñata Giveaway with any Gigante Margarita. I'd rather have the Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour discounts. I'm not going to have 10 tacos (really at $4 each-- not much off their original price of $4.50-$4.95). I had four tacos. The weren't great. They were just okay. The chicken was dry.. Didn't take good. The service was just alright. A little lacking, honestly. And it wasn't like it was super packed considering it was Cinco de Mayo. I mean, it wasn't prime meal time so that makes sense. The restaurant itself looked alright, it was decently spaced out and seemed clean enough. But the food was mid and the service was mid.

The Happy Hour is M-F 3pm-5pm and so worth it! Half off appetizers and $1 off certain tacos. Our favorites were the Thai beef, Shrimp Bahn Mi, Ribeye, and Al Pastor tacos, street corn (off the cob), and Mas Fries appetizers! Even the kids bean, cheese, and rice burrito was great! Our service was fantastic and super attentive despite us sitting outside on the patio. We love how affordable Mas Taco Bar is and the quality of the food sets it apart from other taco spots in the area.

This review is just for the service--not the food. We went on a Taco Tuesday, and something must've happened with our original server (she didn't seem to be feeling well). The bartender stepped in to take over our table, and he was great. Super helpful, attentive, and really kept things running smoothly despite clearly having his hands full. Just wanted to say good job to that guy--he really made the experience better for everyone around him. Much appreciated!

I was looking forward to these tacos but unfortunately, they need improvement. The Pork Belly and Korean fried chicken tacos were extremely dry and tough. Too much breading. The tortillas were also slightly stale. The Beef Short Rib tacos were better, and the best were the Birrea. Al pastor was flavorful, but also a bit dry. The chicken tamales were great. I've had better homemade tamales though. Would have liked them more if they added black olives. Their sauce was very tasty though. I could feel the love in that. Fresh pineapple and grilled corn on the cob were delicious. My best friend and I shared a Peach and Guava margarita. It barely tasted like guava and the peach ring on top was too hard to enjoy and didn't add enough peach flavor. Too much ice watered it down. It was the weakest margarita we've had. Our server was bright and energetic. Nice to see someone doing well in customer service. The decor was also bright and beautiful. I just wish the tacos were more memorable.

I was hesitant about how good this place would be since the midtown spot is average. However, the experience was great! Visited during their happy hour with some friends. I was immediately greeted by staff and was told I could sit anywhere which was a table near the bar. The bartender checked in with me a couple times and brought water while I looked at the menu. I ordered their Jalapeno Cilantro margarita which was sooooo good! It had the right amount of spice and tequila and wasn't sugary. I also ordered the Mas Fries, Habanero Fire Balls, Guacamole and chips and of course tacos (Birria and Thai beef). All of the food was full of flavor and was delicious!! I would definitely come back to this place yelpers! Their happy hour is on point!!

Can you enjoy happy hour anywhere in the restaurant including on the patio? And can you confirm current HH hours/days? Especially with the warm weather beckoning for patio dining. And covid19 nonsense about social distancing. Thanks in advance!

Yes happy hour is available anywhere in the restaurant Monday-Friday from 3-6pm!

And I cannot express in words how excited I was for this location to open up a few years back. So if you're tired from shopping head on over to the restaurant for delicious tacos! Or drop in for taco Tuesday when their street tacos are a little over $2 each. I usually order the carnitas (drooling, has the right amount of soft and crispy bites), carne asada, shrimp and fish tacos! I have also tried the quesadilla which is packed with meat so there's bang for my buck. They put a good amount of meat on the tacos and toppings as well, so I get full pretty fast because of all the protein. Can't forget to mention the complimentary, fresh salsa bar with the grilled onions and jalapeños! The chips are mostly fresh, I have gone on some days where it appears and tastes like the chips were double fried and stale. But overall, on most days, the chips are warm and fresh. The staff are friendly, hard-working and they keep the place spotless and clean! It's a taqueria I have gone to several times in the past and will keep going back to for the refreshing margaritas, yummy tacos and excellent customer service. FYI- I believe they offer slightly lower prices if you pay with cash versus paying with card so it might be a helpful thing to know for people who carry cash.
