Ten Stars out of Five. I recommend this place 200%. I made my way to Colton, as the rumor made it to my side of town that a True Tijuana Style Taco joint opened up where the famous El Burrito used to be.... I made my way there with hesitation, but was blown away with what a found: The Perfect Taco. This place is truly great. I remember having eaten at El Burrito multiple times as a teenager with my uncle. He used to eat there on his way back from Vegas, and it used to be packed with locals and visitors. He wanted me to follow on that tradition. Now that Tacos La Central has taken over, I neither have to go to Vegas to go Colton, nor go to Tijuana to have the best tacos ever. I spoke with one of the owners (which I happen to know through my years at CAL), and they are trying to preserve the historical significance of the location, while adding new elements from the bordertown of Tijuana. According to him, they are trying to continue creating bridges (not walls) through food. I loved his poetics of the taco, but was more eager to try the taco itself. Tacos La Central has been able, like nobody else in the Inland Empire or the wide Los Angeles area, to perfect the Tijuana Style Taco. Indeed, Tacos La Central is the first Taco place, joint, restaurant, etc to specialize (and to master) the legendary Tijuana Style Taco. There are and there have been hundreds claiming the Tijuana Style Taco, but only Tacos La Central has been able to fully deliver on that promise. With a limited menu (Adobada, Asada, Pollo and Chorizo), and a limited schedule, every single taco they serve meets the standard of perfection. And it cannot be any other way: high quality meats, freshly made salsas and guacamoles, and hand made tortillas... That is a recipe for deliciousness. I am excited for Tacos La Central, but also for all the Taco lovers out there. This really happened.. I will got the better business Burrell. For this i went to this place my wife and I are regulars and she always gets the tacos with guacamole on the side.. when I went to pick up my order I noticed that the guacamole was all over the tacos. I told the lady.. I ordered the guacamole on the side.. they brought the girl who took my order and the girl said the customer said he ordered the salsa on the side... and she said I read him the pinchi.. order... which is a typical word but a disrespectful way to approach the situation in front of the customer.. she was acting like a child.. when I expressed that she shouldn't be using words like that in front of the customer.. I asked to speak to mansger.. she claimed to be in charge.. ok can I get the owner s number.. she refused and shut the window not providing the establishments manager certificate or corporate phone number.. she was nasty and look like... LA INDIA MARIA.. ...be aware of this disrespectful employee.. that does not know who pays her salary.. learn how to attend and cater to what you choose in your life.. if you are going to be in customer service. read more

He visitado en dos ocaciones esta taqueria, la 1era vez pase se casualidad y vi gente formada señal que estan ricos, pare y disfrute de unos ricos tacos, en la 2da ocasion lleve a mi esposa he hija porque queria que ellas tambien los probaran, viajamos de Ontario hasta Colton un viernes, hicimos una 1 hora de camino, aun habia una fila eran las 6:55pm h ya habia un Sr avisando a todos que ya no brindaran servicio. Le explique amablemnte mi situacion de hacer una hora de viaje con mi familia solo para pobarlos y su respuesta fue negativa. Teniamos que regresar con la manos vacias, de regreso al carro me observe que en la fila habia un amigo, y me dijo que me formara con él y pues la verdad si queria que mi hija y esposa los probara, estabamos a punto de llegar a la ventanilla cuando de el Señor que me habia dicho que ya hiban a cerrar me observa y de la manera mas grosera me pidio que me saliera que de ninguna manera me hiban a dar servicio. I visited this location on a Thursday evening for some tacos, and unfortunately, the cashier's behavior was very unprofessional. After paying, I turned to my partner for a moment and then asked for a receipt. Instead of simply printing one, the cashier responded, "You didn't ask for one," in a rude and condescending tone. I was taken aback, as it's standard practice to offer or ask if the customer would like a receipt. When I restated that I would like one, she continued to argue rather than assist. I then asked for her name so I could address the issue appropriately, but she refused to provide it. At that point, I requested a refund and left. While I understand that everyone can have a difficult day, this level of unprofessionalism and hostility toward customers is unacceptable. I recently tried Tacos del Central and wanted to share my honest experience. I ordered an adobada taco and an asada taco, and unfortunately both were very plain and lacking flavor. The only standout part was the tortilla--it was actually really good--but the meat itself just didn't have much taste. I also tried a Jamaica lime drink, which was okay but nothing special--pretty mediocre overall. On the positive side, the place was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the food quality just didn't live up to expectations. Personally, I wouldn't go back or recommend it based on this visit. read more

Este lunes por fin decidí ir a estos tacos que tanto me recomendaban, y lo único que puedo decir es que ya no es necesario ir a Tijuana para encontrar tacos de calidad, me tarde en probarlos por que pense que era un lugar de tacos mas que se hacia de fama ofreciendo tacos estilo tijuana, pero esta ves no fue asi, su taco de carne asada es muy bueno, y también los adobados, los 2 con guacamole delicioso, como en tijuana, mi familia estará muy contenta cuando los lleve a probar y les muestre lo que encontré. Horrible customer service. The younger girls working there has something stuck up their a.$ seriously please work somewhere else if you don't know how to do customer service. Aside from the horrible cst services theTacos de Adoba are mostly with fat than the actual meat, the asada tacos are sometimes dry. This place is terrible. Avoid it if possible. The employees are always grumpy are rude as f.. like im not kidding the girls there are always giving you attitude and if you ask them politely for another lemon they act like if its coming from their paycheck. tacos are they are okay, not worth 2.50 though. Its always more fat , and the Asada is too dry!! Go to the other location is Rialto. Much better, and the staff is polite too!! read more

This place is truly the real deal when it comes to authentic Tijuana-style tacos, and I think many would agree. Love the tacos here. My family and I have been coming here since they opened. My wife loves the Al pastor tacos and I love the asada and Al pastor. We have already recommend so many people here. We will always come back. The parking lot is not greatest, and if its hot outside theres not much shade. Miss the tree shade they had. Maybe get some umbrellas. read more

Best tacos in the i.e . Simple menu. I recommend the Adobada taco dorado it was really good. Gives lots of salsa on the side. Went their lunch time and it was kinda busy. But only waited 15 minutes. I got three free tacos, because some girls couldn't make up their mind on how they wanted their tacos. read more

with handmade tortillas highly recommend trying this spot. I recommend any taco but my favorite is the asada tacos and the mulitas. do not leave your food alone unless you don't mind flies on your food. the food is a 5 star, the service from the cashier is a 3 star on a good day it's a 4 star read more

Great Taco Place, they are made fresh everyday the salsa is perfect and it doesn't come out of a can like all the taco joints within 40 miles from this place *The only things missing are some grilled onions, Grilled Jalapeños maybe Horchata and smaller sodas. Adobada For Days....... read more

Two thumbs up their food is Authentic taste just like tacos from Tijuana. They are all very friendly there is always a line so try and get there right when they open. But the lines do move quickly and Worth the wait. read more
