I didn't eat there since it got really cold and windy so took my order to go. The woman taking orders was super nice. I have been wanting to try this food truck for quite a while. You can't miss it, with its almost neon green color. They are known for their street tacos, among other items, so I ordered two adobada tacos and one chorizo and nopal tacos. All three were $2.95 each. The chorizo and nopal or cactus was very good. It was plain chorizo with no egg cooked with the nopales. The chorizo tasted very good and so did the cactus. One thing that I really liked about all three tacos was the yellow corn tortillas. They were very tasty and had a good thickness about them. The adobada was good too. The marinaded pork meat had a good ratio of meat to fat and was flavorful. I liked that there were some crispy bits inside mixed with the tender pieces. The guacamole was very good too. It was creamy and well seasoned. They offer a few covered tables for customers. Wow!! We were surprised by how good the chicken taco was! It's street size, meaning small, (maybe 5" in diameter) with 2 corn tortillas, chopped chicken, guacamole, etc. Very tasty and freshly cooked. The carne asada and carnitas tacos were good too, but the chicken taco really stood out as it was better than any we've had in our many years of eating tacos. The Horchata drink must have been homemade, as it tasted different than the drink most Mexican restaurants/take outs serve. Remember, this is a food truck. Absolute BANGER of a meal. 3 people 20 tacos 2 horchatas. All gone. Their 20 pack came with grilled onions and jalapeños, 3 types of sauces, limes, radish and avocado onions and cilantro on top. Best tacos in San Diego by far. If you are looking for an authentic street taco experience with great fresh ingredients look no further. Normally I get three carne asada tacos, one carnitas, and a quesabirria taco with consommé. The carne asada they cook is moist flavorful and never fatty. The carnitas is sweet and savory with a taste of cinnamon, and the cheese they use with the birria is top notch as well. I love all three of their salsa's too, but I think the best part is their outstanding service. Everyone is extremely kind, always with a smile on their face. They have also moved to a new location literally one parking lot up, but I would say it has a bit of an easier entry and exit. Though the race for the top taco was close between the carnitas and asada, the asada was a bit too salty for my liking so I gave it to the carnitas but I think how salty food is is typically a preference. Carne asada taco featured tender beef which had a tasty beefy flavor with a hint of sweetness.  My favorite taco here. 3 tacos make for a good size lunch.  If I was starving 4 carne asada tacos would fill me up. Some of the best tacos I've had in San Diego and, for $3 bucks a pop (at least in May 2024), they will definitely fill you up. Came on a Tuesday night (Taco Tuesday, anyone?) and it wasn't too busy. Lady taking the order from the fluorescent green truck parked next to a 99 cent store was very sweet. There is some seating outside, but it was cold so we decided to take it to-go. I ordered 2 adobada, 2 chorreada, 1 carnitas, and 1 cueritos: Adobada: Their adobada was a bit on the drier side, personally, but I still enjoyed them. The guacamole and cilantro/onions helped. The meat itself was very flavorful. Overall, a solid adobada but doesn't stand out. Chorreada: My favorite taco in my order. I think it's different cuts of pork, but I'm not super sure since other reviews have not mentioned it. I searched up chorreada and it was most definitely not what the results gave me, so it must be their signature taco. The meat was very fatty and juicy, which could be why the adobada seemed a bit dry to me. Carnitas: Probably my second favorite taco. It wasn't dry, which I usually expect from getting carnitas. Just like the chorreada, it was very juicy but the meat itself was a lot more lean and had more of a chew to it. Cueritos (pork skin): I was 75% expecting it to be fried pork skin, but it was not. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean it wasn't good. I did not enjoy my initial bite as much as my last bite, so that is to say it was more enjoyable the more I ate it. Could I eat more than one of the cueritos taco, though? No. It was so fatty, I think my body would have felt very, very bad if I ate more than one. TLDR: Solid tacos (see above for details), only $3/taco which comes with a good amount of filling, topped with guacamole and cilantro/onion, grilled onions and sliced radish on the side, bright green truck outside a 99 cent store, seating outside, very nice people, salsa they give is very spicy (expect the salsa verde). read more
