Golden crunchy cheese skirt, succulent carne asada, warm corn tortilla, a little heat already built in, and fresh guac that tasted like it was made five minutes ago. Lengua taco was melt in your mouth tender. The adobada vampiro had the perfect crunch and char. The quesadilla was basically the quesataco's Charizard evolution from Charmander. These tacos are not dainty. They are generously loaded and ready to taco 'bout business. Service was so kind! Came on a Monday around 12PM. Came to a taco truck next to a car dealership. While waiting in line I was having a hard time seeing the menu but as I was in line it got passed back. cashier lady wasn't very friendly. Waited around 20 minutes for my food and never got my cups for the agua until I told the cashier like hey wtf and she seemed pissed that I asked her too. There was no napkins to be found anywhere on the tables I ended up grabbing hand toweled from the sink washing area that had no water also. This place is all fuckn bad they should just shut down. They're not ready to serve people at such high demand The carne asada was a little bland. The adobada was decent, the lengua also. The aguas were bomb but had way too much ice blended in it couldn't even drink it through the straw. Was going to leave 3 starts but I'm leaving 1 due to they made my husband and I throw up and have diarrhea like a mf later in the night. Let me start by saying :( all those reviews about this place taking forever were 100% right. They weren't even busy, yet somehow everything moved at a snail's pace. The place just feels poorly run overall. I honestly wouldn't come back. First off, the adobada was not good at all. My avocado had the hard end piece from the shell still attached almost chipped my tooth on it. Then I ordered a rib taco, and no one warned me it had bones. Who serves a taco with bones in it .I bit right into one, and that was it for me. The whole experience was just bad from start to finish. The ordering process took way too long, and it's not like they had a crowd to blame it on. On top of that, they don't even have a real menu ust a piece of paper you have to ask for. They should at least have a sign or banner with prices to make things easier. Maybe that's part of why it takes them so long, who knows. And to top it all off, the parking is terrible. Someone dinged my car, pretty sure it was the truck next to me . I guess that's what I get for going to a taco shop that looks like it's part of a car dealership. Overall, I'm giving it one star. If you know me, you know I rarely ever do that. But this time, I have to be honest the food, service, and setup were all disappointing. Definitely not worth the time or the risk. Don't come here if you're hungry! First and last time trying this place. An hour wait! After we ordered we started hearing people complaining about the long wait times, people saying others who ordered AFTER them got their food first. Every time someone asked about their order it was the same answer - "one more order ahead of you" , and cashier told my husband the same when he asked about our food after an hour wait. Yes there was a long line when we arrived, but by the time we finished eating there was hardly anyone there and still they were taking that long. One lady said she went the week before and it was only 2 customers and still waited over 20 minutes. I would've expected at least a free drink (even a water bottle) for the delay, or offered to give us my kids' plain taco so he could start eating, something, but no, instead cashier seemed anoyed when people asked about wait times or wanted to cancel orders asking for refund. I really wanted to try their aguas frescad, but they are self-serve (no refills) and the idea of everyone putting their dirty hands or possibly coughing or sneezing on them... no thank you. read more

Food here is really good! I am lucky to live close by so I have always arrived before the dinner rush so I have never had long wait times thankfully! It feels like a party in someone's backyard! The tacos are very good and the salsa roja is spicy but def worth it. However, I will not be back. The first time we went they told us to dine in just sit and they will take our order, waited 15 minutes to take our order. We even told our waitress we were about to leave she said they were busy. Last night we tried going mind you it was 12am which they close at that time but before parking we asked if they were still open and they said yes come on in. We parked we arrived we sat and the waitress said "u have to go order at the register we are no longer taking orders" got up and the cashier said "only cash our registers are closed" They could've told us at the entrance when we asked. We had heard about this place through social media and decided to give it a try since it's close to home. When we arrived, the place was busy and parking was a little tricky, but we managed. We ordered two tacos de birria, two asada, and two adobada to go. Unfortunately, it took almost 35 minutes for our order to be ready, and when we got home we realized one of the adobada tacos was missing. The adobada has great flavor and the vampiro de asada was my favorite. Prices are great and quesadillas are big so its worth the price. Busy almost every day so be patient its worth the wait. This taco stand on Main Street in Chula Vista is hands down the BEST in South Bay! The service is always friendly, the food is fresh and absolutely delicious, and the prices can't be beat. They make the tortillas right in front of you, the meat is perfectly seasoned, and every bite is incredible. This place is a complete joke. I've been here multiple times and the prices are never consistent. I always order the same thing yet I've paid anywhere from $18 to $32 for basically the same order. First time: 1 quesadilla, 2 tacos, 1 soda = $18 Second time: same order but with an extra drink = $32 Third time: 1 quesadilla, 4 tacos, 1 drink = $23 Tonight? I ordered just 2 quesadillas, no drinks, no extras and they tell me it's $20. $10 per quesadilla?! They've completely lost it.
