This place is one of a kind! I've been going to this place ever since I could remember. It used to be very small back then, but they've made it much bigger. Everything that they used is very fresh! Fresh made tortillas, fresh ingredients...great roasted salsa..this place is really a hole in the wall you might miss it if you don't look hard enough.. tried the torta with carne asada its a top 2 torta in my book. The bread makes this torta really good its has a slight crisp. The meat is well marinated, and of course I talk salsa all the time but that makes or breaks some of these places and it makes this place that's for sure. Ordered 2 carne asada tacos and 2 chicken tacos. When I got my order I noticed that the carne asada taco was not carne asada it was ground beef. It tasted salty and not good at all. The chicken taco didn't look anything like the chicken taco in the picture posted on here. The chicken taco had no flavor at all and looked disgusting. I ended up eating half of one of the beef tacos and left the other three untouched that's how awful the food was. Never again will I come here, should have just gone to Gaminos restaurant for their delicious tacos. I give this place zero stars... read more

Pretty good burrito- I had the al pastor. The tortilla was amazing (they make their own), but the meat had something crunchy in it...? Maybe just cooked a little too long. Really disappointed. Ordered a carne asada burrito, meat was already cooked before I walked in. They throw it into the grill when I order it and char it because it's already cooked and is no over cooking. Rice is such a light orange color that you can tell they skimp on the tomato sauce. Wish it was better. Seemed like a nice place. read more

Disagree with Melissa S comment, I have been coming to this place for over 15 years and the food can not be any fresher, everything is made from scratch as you order. They even make their own tortillas from cooking the corn to grinding it themselves. The cook Johnny is the best in Town, he will go out of his way for you, he has been working there even before I discovered this place. The food is as authentic as they come, It feels like I'm sitting in my moms kitchen eating all her delicious Mexican food. Everyone is very friendly from the cooks to the waitresses, I do agree that this place does get packed from time to time (which it's expected) and the wait is long but it's well worth it and I know to be patient and wait for my food. I recommend their wet burritos they are the bomb! or their enchiladas in green sauce. Overall this place is great from the staff to the delicious food! read more
