It was my first time tryjng this place and was pretty excited tomtry the chorriada...We I received it my meat wasnt fully cooked and the asientos were burt. It tasted burt. I thought it was maybe just a piece of burnt asiento but when I picked at it all of the asientos were burt. I got up to tell the staff and one of them gave me an ugly look but still took the plate to remake it. When the girl gave it back to me it was like if she had just thrown the plate on the table. Came in to try the Sonora dogs. We traveled to Tucson once to try them out there. The hotdogs here are almost identical as the ones out there. We also had the quesadilla and fries. The food was great and service was fast and friendly. We will definitely come again. read more

Went to House Grill Teriyaki in the same strip some time ago, and La Rueda's signage caught my eye, then I saw a instagram reel about em and I was excited to visit and see how Sonoran style Mexican food differs from the typical. 1st impression: the music was loud, the menu was straightforward, and the place was clean and had eye-catching decor. The cashier was not the friendliest or most helpful but hey he took my order and I got my food. As for my food, I ordered two caramelos de al pastor, a Sonoran style quesadilla. It was overall fresh and hefty for 9.00$, but the meat was on the salty side and the texture was more like chorizo. Because it was salty, the spices used to marinate the pork did not come through. I would probably come back again and order the Lorenza though, that dish also seemed intriguing. read more

The Sonoran style cuisine was excellent but there where are a lot of food that is not on the menu like the Chilaquiles ($12) with air dried matcha a or the breakfast burrito. I also highly recommend the menudo blanco (Sat & Sun only) which I had ordered. The Horchata sold out but they had other agua Frescas. Ambience is what you would expect with limited sitting around 25 max. I will try the Sonoran street dogs next time. read more

Ultra tasty tacos and best flour tortilla tacos - Sonoran style (cabbage and avocado salsa) I've had since visiting Sonora. The tripas and asada (only two meats I tried) were delicious, tasted homemade. The customer service from the gentleman that took our order was superb (he may have been the owner, if he wasn't more credit to him), very friendly and gave us a quick breakdown of ingredients and difference between items. And, to top it off they had Sonoran style bacon wrapped hot dogs right outside the location, and a fair sized crowd that was rapidly assisted and everyone appeared to be really into their meals. Definitely recommend and I'll be going back there frequently. read more

The service and flavor in the tacos are great but I hate to say that their white menudo is missing all the flavor. My mother is from Sonora and I noticed they are missing the Bay leaf. I'm not sure if they add onions, garlic and knorr (consommé). The staff is great and the ambiance too. read more

This place was amazing! The food tastes very authentic and rich, considering it was made quickly on the spot. I've gone here twice now and the first time I was helped by a nice woman. She recommended me the nachos and they were so good, they were loaded and the chips weren't soggy. Came to try this place out today and it did not disappoint. I had the Lorenza and Caramelo with Carne asada. The flavor and seasoning was spot on, I didn't even have to add salt. I also tried the cebada drink which was tasty as well. My hubby had the papa loca which he really enjoyed as well. The staff was friendly and the place was nice and clean. They were playing their home town music which made me feel like I was stepping unto a taco spot in Mexico. Definitely will be back, I need to try the torta they recommend as well. read more
