We were literally driving down Marbach just trying to find a taco truck and saw this one hidden deep in a lot but SO many cars an SO many people. Now I know why. There was a long line but they were quick. You order and you don't pay until your tacos are ready which I think it's cool. I think the price per taco is reasonable and everything was really good! Their green salsa is great. The pastor tacos were not amazing but asada and lengua is something we will definitely come back for. This is a hidden gem of taco heaven! We ordered 15 tacos, carnitas, asada, and al pastor.... All of them delicious! These are by far the best tacos in San Antonio! Worth the drive! The salsa they give you had a kick to it but it's flavorful and they have self serve limes and jalapeños. We were in the mood for some great street tacos and I jumped on Yelp to check out something new. Tacos La Salsita did not disappoint. We tried the Al pastor and Asado. Both meats were flavorful. The beef was tender and the pork was seasoned perfectly. I tried both the red and green salsas. I loved the tart flavor of the green, but the red had the spicy savory flavor I was looking for. This place is a gem. COME HERE! It's a tiny Mexican truck in a parking lot at the base of a hill. I pulled up at 9pm, and the lot was bustling with people ordering tacos. The vast majority of people in the lot were Mexican, which is a great sign, in the day and age of overly Americanized "Mexican" food. All they have on the food truck menu is 5 kinds of street tacos, and that's it. There's a tub of limes and some sauteed peppers and onions underneath the ordering window, and all they asked when I ordered my tacos was if I was okay with cilantro and onion. Each taco is $1.25. They automatically put a salsa verde and salsa roja in the bag along with the tacos, I paid in cash, and off I went. These tacos were fucking incredible. Honestly? These are the best asada street tacos I've ever had. I was blown away. The flavor on the meat was amazing, the meat actually had great texture (no gristle!), and the salsas were delicious, too. I literally can't complain about a single thing. Even the price of the tacos blew me away. It was so damn good, I'll probably come back here tomorrow. read more

Tacos La Salsita is certainly one of the best tacos I have ever had since moving here to San Antonio. First off, it is cash only however, if you have Chase, there is a drive thru ATM right across the street that makes it super easy to grab some cash before you hit up this taco truck. Holy cow! I have not found street tacos as amazing as these! I've tried a couple different places and each one had their little quirk, taste or ingredient that just didn't set it at #1 for me. For months I've lived in this area and people would be waiting for this truck before it even showed up so I assumed it must be good. It wasn't until a coworker confirmed it that I decided maybe it was time. Today was my first time trying it. I walked up to the little window, put in my order and waited my turn like every other customer waiting. I took it my order to go and on the way home it smelt sooo good that I had to sneak in a bite. Let me just start by saying, I am an OBSESSED woman when it comes to tacos. Tacos are on my mind 24/7 and I am an absolute SNOB. This place is easily the best taco truck around! I got to the parking lot and there had to be at least 20 cars. Even with the immense amount of people I was able to get my tacos in like 10 minutes. The pastor is AMAZING. I love that it wasn't dripping in grease so I could taste all the flavors. The carnitas are juicy and tender. Carne asada, just ugh. SO GOOD.
