Literally so good and such good customer service. I come here almost every week with my girlfriend and friend and they absolutely love it. The customer service is literally the cherry on top. Totally disappointing! When we arrived we ordered our drinks. I ordered diet coke and my brother ordered coke zero. The waitress brought two cans of coke zero and two glasses of ice. My brother apologized and said that he thought that they were fountain drinks. So we again requested diet cokes. The waitress took back the two cans of coke zero and appeared to be upset. We thought... well ok she will be back with our drinks. Not so. She said something to the other waitresses and they stood there looking at us. Okay... so what was that about? Other patrons came in and ordered and got their food. After about fifteen minutes a waitress came over and asked if we ordered. Well... I felt like saying, "naaah... we're just hanging around watching people eat." So i ordered the wet chicken burrito without tomatoes. The burrito came out and when I cut it open and took a little bite and i bit into a hard piece of chicken and it tasted horrible. I peeked inside the chicken burrito and it had hard burnt pieces of chicken on the edge. I slit down the middle of the burrito and noticed burnt pieces of chicken were throughout the whole burrito. And it had tomatoes. Omgoodness... are you serious? My stomach became upset from the food. They offered me something else... but i was upset about this ordeal. So when I went to pay for my brother's food and my drink they had kept the burnt burrito on the bill. "No... you're not going to charge me for a horrible burrito I didn't eat." Each one came with HUGE pieces of fish and tasted amazing. Don't be fooled by the amount of coleslaw you see, there's a massive amount of fish hiding below. We also got the guac, which I wish I took a picture of because it was presented in such an aesthetically pleasing manner (although, honestly, it was just OK). But the tacos are a definite must try. You used to come in and order at the counter even if you were eating inside, but now it's more of a sit down and order with the server type of spot. I'm a fan of the change. The tacos were amazing, but the shrimp taco was what really stood out for me. I've only ever had one other shrimp taco that was close to being as good as this one was. At one time, this place, and Taco Nazo, (same owner) had one of the best tasting fish taco in the East San Gabriel Valley. It then, for whatever reason, the quality of the taco's took two steps back. They were still better than those fast food chain's, fish taco's, but just not as good when they first opened. There were times when the fish just didn't taste that fresh, kind of greasy, old oil taste. But the last couple of times I've been here, they're close to being back where they first were. Hot and fresh, crispy coating, decent size too. Never had an issue with the cashier, so can't say anthing bad about them, just the quality of the food. In there hay days, they easily could of been a five star rating, and had fallen down to a three stars. With the recent improvements, they're back up to a four star rating. Honorable mentions to other items on the menu, goes to the fried shrimp taco's, and their nacho's with shredded beef, all pretty good. So for now, I will continue to keep coming here, as long as they can keep the quality of their food at a high standard. read more
