Gave this place a try because of the reviews. Got disappointed again. Where do these reviews come from??? This is a meat market/taco truck operation. Went during the afternoon, so you go inside the meat market to order. The people are nice and the place looks clean. It was a Tuesday, but there were no taco Tuesday offerings. Full price on tacos. I went with my standard order. 2 carne asada, 2 al pastor and a wild card which was 1 tripas. The carne asada had a bunch of gristle/cebo and lacked flavor. I feel like the meat was not seasoned or marinated. Way below your average taco truck offerings. The al pastor was the style that is moist and in chunks vs the thinner crispy trompo style. The flavor was alright, but not going out of the way to go buy these again. The tripas taco was minced up to hell as was the asada. Tiny lil pieces of meat that lose texture. I like the texture of a good crispy tripas taco not some minced tripa slurry. I'll never come back to this place. read more

This place is not the same. I just got back from buying tacos when I got in my car I could smell like something was bad. When I got home open my bag of tacos. Is smelled like the meat was rotten. I tasted the al pastor and I was right that meat was already going bad. The asada meat was ok but honestly feared since al pastor was bad. I'll never buy here again. read more

Got the Al Pastor from the kitchen in back for lunch. $7. Huge. Delicious. The meat had perfect crunchy texture along the sauce and beans. Definitely the best burrito I have had in the valley. There are a few booths in chairs and Soccer on the TV. Pay at front register where there are lots of people ordering large amounts of carne asada and other meats from the butcher here. Carne asada, al pastor, cabeza...all of your favorite cuts are tender, meaty, and delicous. The Pastor is the #1 fav in our group. So I went here for lunch on the recommendation from a co worker this past Thursday and got my self a carne asada burrito with everything and I asked if they could add avocado and lettuce. My total came to $7 for a really big burrito and a drink. It was really delicious. The best part about it is that they didn't charge me extra for avocado like most places and the staff there are super friendly. On a side note. I payed with my card and forgot it there. I called tonight and the owner told me that they have it and that they were hoping I would call to pick it up. That is really great customer service. My family loves this spot for tacos so I decided to try it out. Went and Ordered 20 tacos not only did they give me different type of meat but was also missing tacos and on top of that I ordered 3 no sauce and all of them had no sauce. I called to see if I could get the tacos changed and the guy that picked up the phone said that I would need to return the tacos I didn't want, which I was ok with cuz it wasn't what I wanted in the first place, but I would also HAVE TO PAY EXTRA. I work late and many places are closed by the time I get home. I was happy to see a late night taco truck thats very close by. I ordered from this place 3 times. Each time in the morning I got terrible diarrhea. It was awful. The last time was the worse by far. I ordered a carnitas burrito which tasted good, but I had to work early in the morning after closing late the night before. I woke up in the middle of my sleep to have to use the bathroom, and by the time I woke up it was much worse. I've seen the Reyes Tacos Truck for a while on Sherman Way at Woodley but never stopped Tonight I did and it was worth it. Bought a carne burrito to take home. Wow, it was perfectly prepared and tasted wonderful! Looking forward to stopping by again soon. There were lots of happy customers eating plates against a building as I waited for my order. I'm sorry but it's really easy make a taco and I must've missed the memo where they said it was ok to deep fry your fresh taco meat. Absolutely horrible. They should be ashamed. Amazing meat market!!! Better than Vallarta or most local meat markets. The meat is so fresh and prepared as you go. The restaurant associated with the market is delicious as well. I like to go here because of the range of variety in Mexican dishes. I love their huaraches and flautas. Everything here is as authentic as it can get. 10 stars all the way. read more

We got a few pounds of carne asada and chicken for a bbq not really knowing to expect, i just have to say me and my friends all get our carne from a certain carniceria with the consensus that they had the best carne asada around so we finish barbecuing, we all bite into our tacos and a conversation erupts about how reyes blows the place that we normally go to out of the water so if you've never tried this place I'd defiantly say its worth a try read more

Best tacos in the valley. I have tried plenty. They are better than Tacosway, too. Reyes makes tacos fit for royalty and I am now a loyal customer. I have been to almost every taco location and each one is just delicious. Most taco places need salsa or something extra to taste good. These guys don't. Eat them and be amazed. read more

I wanted nachoes and tripas tacos so I found them on google maps. I went to their location and it was in the back of the meat market. I talked to a who told me the menu was in the back. I saw what I wanted and ordered. Very nice the staff there and with fast service. I got my order and left and once I got home I realized I had "the best" Mexican food I ever had. The chips for the nachoes were the best chips ever with that cripyness you look forward too when biting into nachoes. The flavor was nice n spicy with the tomatoes and onions , it was so good I had to write about it. I also got 2 asada tacos and omg so good. I give this place 6 stars cause it truly a hidden jem for Mexican food. Ty and I will be back again. Ty read more

Believe me or not, this little market has the most amazing carne asada burritos and tacos!! The steak and rice are so soft it makes a perfect combination. Theres usually a taco truck that parks right in front of the market after 3pm and thats when it gets really buisy. But when its not there during lunch hours you can always order some from the market. Its really hidden in an insurance building so its easily missed but keep an eye out cause u will need to try this place! read more

Very good, I live down the street. The restaurant inside closes when the food truck outside opens. Their meats are cooked perfectly, the carnitas are clean and tasty and all meat, the asada isn't chewy or fatty. Very good salsa and everything tastes good.
