Bomb Food!! Very tasty and reasonable price. Extremely clean kitchen. You can also order by phone.

2nd asada fries where's no meat

THIS REVIEW IS REFERENCING TO TRUCK ON WOODLEY / SHERMANWAY April 29 first off the two employees there male and women idk if there new or not but they should get trained before working in the field. I've been coming here for years late night and I've never got served incorrectly. I ordered asada fries no cilantro and onion and meat was burnt! Mind you I was already home by the time I checked my food so I drove back and instead taking my incorrectly order back he says "what else you order" how long ago were you here" my new asada fries was added with cream again not well served like they should be for $15 I'm not paying $10-12 disappointed

If you in the San Fernando Valley, the Tacos Reyes truck is the must-stop! They carry a wide assortment of asada, lengua, pastor, tripas, cabeza, and so much more to explore on their menu. Also jarritos, sangria drinks or a refreshing bottled Mexican Coca-Cola would be the cherry on top to quench your taste buds. Taquitos are about $2.25 each but packed with so much flavor, from the well-seasoned meats, to those salsas. The red salsa is spicy but nothing you can't handle, so just a lil heads up. Paired alongside your tacos, they include cilantro, onions, sliced radishes and more salsas to top off your tacos. I give tacos Reyes a well-deserved 5 stars because they sure impress! Service is speedy, friendly and affordable for mouthwatering tacos! What else is there to say? Than head to Tacos Reyes now and you won't be disappointed. Also they have a lil convenience store in front from their food truck where they have it stocked with everything and maybe you'll find the perfect dessert too.

4 asada tacos.

Craving tacos and didn't want to travel to far. Headed over to taco Reyes because I heard they had good carne asada. Ordered 4 tacos to go from the pleasant woman and 10 dollars later I was on my way home. Loaded them up with salsa and took a bite. Carne asada was flavorful but a little tough. Tortilla was hand made but obviously bought. Overall the tacos were flavorful but needed the tooth some texture of a handmade tortilla. Carne asada was good but needs to be trimmed a little better. Decent enough taco, 3.5 stars.

I ordered 3 tripas tacos and an asada torta. Would not be coming back. First off they gave my order to the wrong person, so I had to wait for them to make it again. I asked for a refund and the lady said he is making it right now. I got my order and was really disappointed. I asked for tripas well done and the they were terrible. Probably the worst tripas I ever had. They were mushy, chewy, and soggy. They also had a lot of sand or some kind of fine grain everytime I was chewing them. The torta was okay as I liked the asada. Other than that I would not come back here at all. Sucks that I was following them on instagram and their food looked really good...quite the opposite.

***5 STARS are for the TACOS REYES, taco truck outside their shop. Small family owned market right next to Valero gas station. I only went into the market real quick with Philip G. to purchase a coke as we waited for our tacos from the truck outside. The market has pretty much all your Spanish/Latin basics: produce, canned goods, drinks etc. As we walked further into the store we noticed that they also have some type of deli/hot food order restaurant in the back, which has about 5-6 tables for dining patrons. I believe they cater and I'm sure they're connected with the taco truck located in front of the store most nights. If their truck isn't parked outside you can go into the store and order the same stuff their truck offers and I'm assuming it would be the same. Now on to the food. I've gotta say this may just be the best taco truck I've had. Ever since Philip G. has been living in the Lake Balboa area we've noticed two trucks on Woodley Ave. and Sherman Way, every time we passed this area we always saw that there was a longer line here as opposed to the other truck but never thought of stopping by. Finally about 3 weeks ago we decided why not try it, hey if there's a line then it must be worth the wait. Our order the 1st time we came: 1- Carne Asada Burrito w/ everything (red salsa, rice, beans, onions and cilantro) 4- Tacos (2)carne asada, (2) al pastor w/ everything (red salsa, onions and cilantro) Our order on Saturday night (mind you this is our 2nd time coming within 3 weeks) 1- Al Pastor Burrito w/ everything YUM, nuff said 2- Tacos chorizo & chicken both were flavorful, although at first bite I thought the chorizo was carne asada it did have a nice crispy texture that the carne asada does not have. Can't ever go wrong with tacos. 1- Carne Asada Quesadilla w/ everything (red salsa, onions & tomatoes) I love me some cheese so this was my favorite. OMG this past Saturday we ordered way too much, we were so stuffed that our plans for wine, cheese & a movie didn't go thru because we couldn't eat anymore. We still watched our scary movie but the bottle of wine, cheese & crackers were not touched because of our overly stuffed bellies. Definitely come here, like I said, if you see a line, it's worth the wait. Tacos Reyes we'll be back!!!! *Note to self their red salsa is pretty damn spicy, so spicy that I had to use the red salsa they gave us sparingly. I think next time we order I'll ask for green salsa in mine instead of the red. My mouth was definitely on fire in a good way but it still lingered.

Asada tacos - hot & delicious!

The Tacos Reyes food truck is awesome sauce! Located off of Woodley Ave and Sherman Way, it opens when the carniceria closes. Good thing about the food truck is that it's open late night. The food is inexpensive and crazy good! The asada tacos are ridiculously bomb with a nice spicy kick to them! It's best to get a Jarritos to wash down all the deliciousness. There's a row of folding chairs available in front of the storefront for eating/waiting. Parking is street only but is not as hard as one might think so don't be intimidated. If you're in the area and need some late night goodness for cheap, Tacos Reyes is where you need to be! And remember that it's cash only so come prepared!

To be honest this spot came through so many times after a night of too many drinks and needing something to come back to life. Their tacos de burrito are so good and the tortilla is kind of fried, sirven bien doraditos los tacos, so they don't fall apart when you dip them in the consomé (broth). What I used to do was get a few tacos and a larger order of consomé and then use that broth to make ramen with and omg, so good! lol it was the gift that kept on giving. Can't wait to go back. They usually have tables as well so you're able to enjoy your meal while it's hot and go on your way.

The food is delicious and very authentic Tijuana-style street tacos done right. I've tried several items from the menu including the torta, quesadillas, tacos, dorados de birria, and carne asada, and everything has been flavorful and satisfying. The birria tacos are definitely a standout. Service is always great and fast, which makes it an easy stop when you're craving good street food. If you're in the area and want authentic Mexican tacos, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

The staff were incredibly nice and understanding, and eager to explain what each of the dishes offered and what the popular menu options were. The dishes themselves were amazing, they came out incredibly fresh and in sizable portions for a very good price. I'd never tried this kind of cuisine before, but this food truck has earned itself a loyal customer. I highly recommend the Loaded Momos, they're the perfect blend of spicy and savory. The ones in the butter sauce are also amazing and I couldn't get enough of them. Definitely be sure to try the Chillys, the chicken was incredibly fresh and melted in your mouth. If you're looking for a nice little spot with attentive staff who take care of their customers, this is the place for you. There's at least one table outside where you can sit, but otherwise, you can always just get them to bring the food to your car. Absolutely check this place out and show them your love.

Since it was a group visit, we ended up tasting almost everything on the menu--and every single item impressed us. We started with pani puri, which was fresh, tangy, and full of that classic street-food punch. The chili chicken was crispy and spicy with great flavor, while the hakka noodles were well seasoned and comforting. The jhol momos were rich and flavorful, and the steamed momos were juicy, soft, and perfectly cooked--simple and delicious. One of the biggest highlights was their new addition: Maggi. It was hands down the best--pure nostalgia in a bowl and exactly the kind of comfort food you crave. And for me, the clear winner was the loaded fries--crispy, generously topped, and absolutely addictive. I loved them and would happily go back just for those. Even though it's a food truck, it gives you the perfect feel of enjoying authentic snacks and momos, just like true street food should. The food was fresh, portions were generous, and service was quick and friendly. If you're craving authentic Himalayan flavors, comforting momos, and nostalgic snacks, Himalaya Momos is a must-try. Perfect for a quick lunch, office outing, or anytime street-food craving.
