We visited for the first time today and purchased 3 taco plates with different meats. All the meats were all very good! All tacos topped with a guacamole sauce, cilantro and onions. The rice and beans were very good as well. They have a salsa bar (was clean and topped off) that has a few different types of salsa all of them were very tasty. We also ordered a small cup of enchilada sauce to taste and it is very good as well. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of seating, great atmosphere with cute signage on walls. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We visited at lunch time and they were pretty busy. Our food was ready quickly and delicious. We will be back! read more

Been coming here off & on and have enjoyed the food until this last visit. Hubby ordered the menudo & he said it had no flavor other than very salty. I had the carne asada torta & unfortunately I was disappointed. For the torta to be edible it would need the meat in strips or a slice of carne, but the meat is cut up in small pieces & they fall out of the sandwich. I feel they use the meat for the tacos & it really Doesn't work. Our biggest concern Though was... all the salsa cups fell on the floor & the counter worker came around to pick them Up & put them right back on the stack for customers to use!!! Quality of food has gone down. When I order menudo it was over cooked and very salty. It usually taste very spicy and delicious, but this last time it tasted overly salted and like it was overcooked as the chili broth was bitter. I don't know if they changed cooks or the supplier, but it just lost it quality. read more

This is a highly disappointing taco shop, i love little places like this but there is a seven dollar upcharge for fish because its "a seprate button in their system" which is a ridiculous answer. The girl upfront was not really on top of it either, but there was also a 2 dollar charge for sour cream or guac each, and a quesadilla conveniently didn't have either of those things included, they used cheap cheese for everything but charge like it's not the toilet in the bathroom was broken and they did not go fix it the first time they said they would, and it was not even busy in the slightest. This review focuses on the bacon breakfast burrito. Starting with the positives: value is there, good size, good flavor, decent price (before tax right below $10, which is pretty standard in the area). Salsa bar has the three staples, tortilla was fresh, didn't fall apart and not chewy or doughy. Flavors of the ingredients were good, all blended together evenly, no one bite was overpoweringly just one thing. The cheese was evenly laced throughout and left no disappointing bites. On the down side, there was no crisp or browning on the potatoes, so when mixed with the eggs everything just kind of blended together. The only texture were the crispy bits of bacon. No chunks of scrambled eggs or texture to a seared edge of a potato chunk. Not a bad breakfast burrito at all, not great (get some color on the potatoes!), but easily a solid go to if you're in the area. Not consistent. Only thing consistent is their salsa. Recently got a carne asada burrito and the meat was extremely dry with very hard pieces. It wasn't even edible because it was bad. I couldn't eat it so I threw it away. Prior to that I got a sausage burrito and it was overly stuffed with potatoes and hardly any sausage or cheese making it extremely dry. I was charged $15 for my order. $11 for rice 'n beans?!! They weren't that great either. The hard shell tacos were extremely hard. I couldn't pry them open for hot sauce without breaking them in pieces. I finally broke them open and ate the filling with a fork. One positive here: they do give you plenty of meat. I mis-ordered and ended up with a chile verde burrito. It is a burrito with chunks of pork in green chile, and came with rice and beans, and it was really good and a little bit spicy. We also got a bean, rice and cheese burrito, and a Conga burrito, which is carne asada with rice and beans. The burritos are huge. You can eat half for lunch and the rest for dinner. Or just eat the whole thing for lunch, like me, because you're hungry and haven't eaten anything all day. This is a small Mexican restaurant in a strip mall, but they make great Mexican food and huge burritos, so they're doing their job. Carne Asada Chips ($14.99): a huge portion for sharing. The shredded cheese and cotija cheese are lacking, but this was still tasty. There were plenty of tender beef and crispy hot chips, 8/10 rating. Five Rolled Tacos ($9.25): this cost about $2-$3 more than San Diego, and the amount of cotija cheese is minimal; however, this was still good overall. Its shell is crispy, is filled with a good amount of beef, and is covered with creamy guacamole and melted cheese. 7.5/10 rating. The service here has always been friendly and efficient. We place our order by phone for pick-up because it does get busy at times here on the weekends. There is no drive-thru, but there is plenty of parking, and they do have a good amount of tables for dine-in. read more

Today I went to pick up some super nachos and this is what I received. Very satisfied with what we received. The super nachos had a lot of meat, but not too many chips. We use to give this place 5 stars. We've supported this local taco shop over the last 15 years and we use to love it BUT now the quality of food is terrible and the prices are outrageous! I don't mind paying for something that's good but the guacamole is not fresh it's runny no meat in the rolled tacos. First off the delivery person did not handle my order with care. My beans and rice were on top of one another as if the container was tipped to the side. It was delivered to my door without a text that my order had been delivered. No knock, bell or text. My enchilada was at least 50% green pepper instead of meat. The sauce tasted as if it was canned. Not ever ordering from here especially since the food costed me $25 to be delivered. $10 in fees, tip, service charge and benefit charges for the delivery person. read more

We stopped by here for lunch, and ordered 5 rolled tacos and an al pastor burrito. The small restaurant was pretty clean, and we were able to find seats easily. Many people were coming for to-go orders. The rolled tacos were good, freshly made with decent flavor, although I wish there was a little more guacamole. The al pastor burrito was the perfect amount of spice and saltiness, but wasn't wrapped very tightly. The salsas here were lackluster and flavorless.. Tasted like they were canned. Yikes. She gave us someone else's order. We realized it when my husband got home so he went back. We would have just eaten it except I don't eat beef. When my husband got there the woman offered to let him keep the wrong meal in addition to making ours. Then, as he's walking out, she calls for him to stop. The other person was coming back for their real order as well. She LIED to him saying it was still at the restaurant. My husband questioned her decision to give the food that he had taken home and her response was to ask him what he did to it. Are you kidding me? Completely unsafe and unprofessional worker. I've never left a review calling for someone to be fired, but she should be. Then my husband gets home with our order, except my chicken tacos were made with beef. My family and I came from out of town to pick up something from the Best Buy across the street and randomly chose to stop here. So happy we did! We had the NAK burrito, the California Burrito and the rolled tacos. All three items are super yummy. The burritos are huge, I think they can definitely be shareable. The red salsa from the salsa bar is the best overall and the carrots and onions are a good little treat. The workers are super friendly and the girl at the front definitely made us feel welcomed.
