Gross dude. $16 for an awful and ugly quesadilla that smelled. I drove past Taco Bell thinking this was an upgrade. Instead paid more for worse food.

I have to share that they have definitely gotten better with their portions and especially with their cali surfing burrito. It used to be my favorite but the last time i got one it was disappointing, full of fries with hardly any steak or shrimp. So after a couple months i decided to try it again and this time it was like they used to be. I was so happy with it.

Very good Taco Tuesday and Wednesday ! All the choices of tacos are really good and their salsa bar and yellow peppers are seasoned to greatness! They have free salsa bar with so many options to make your food even better!

I used to love coming here when I came to visit Murrieta but now it's been like three visits in a row, and I asked them to make the french fries crispy in the burrito and all three times it's been extra soggy, I don't understand why this keeps happening, but I won't be back anymore

This is a small chain restaurant that has elements of being a sole proprietorship and of being a small chain. As you can see from my interior pics, the windows are plastered with hand-drawn advertisements and yet the ordering area is reminiscent of a small chain. I liked the standalone hot sauce station and fresh veggies, see pic (again with the hand written signage). Yet they have a professional sign noting their business roots and approach, see pic. The staff was quick and friendly. We shared the Carne Asada Tostada and the Beef Taco. When you look at my pic of the Carne Asada Tostada it's hard to imagine that there is a tostada under there. Not only that, BUT its sturdy enough to hold all of that food. It had all the items you thought it should have: it was all fresh and the carne asada was plentiful, tender and seasoned well. I'd have this again. The Beef Taco was also amply sized. A notable touch was that the taco was held upright with a dollop of refried beans and lettuce behind it. This was a nice little "salad" that went along with the solo taco. The shell was fairly crisp and also held up well. As you can see from my pic everything was fresh. These 2 items, I'm sure were long on calories, but also long on flavor and size.

My wife and I make it a point to stop here every time we're heading back to Vegas from San Diego…read more It's become one of our traditions. The carne asada is hands down some of the best around and it's amazing no matter what you order it on. Honestly, we've worked our way through a good chunk of the menu and everything has been consistently fresh and delicious. One thing we also love is that they have AMI, so you can pick the music and keep the vibe going while you eat. Great food, great atmosphere, and friendly service every time. If you're passing through, this place is absolutely worth the stop.

Burger? NO Tacos, beans? YES!…read more I was mega happy with one of my orders. The taco was luscious with a generous filling of juicy beef. The tamale was generous as well, but not my fav. THE BEANS! DELICIOUS! AND they included some chips and salsa at no extra charge! This is my new go to for "Mexican" food. So, why not FIVE STARS? It's their burger. Truly awful and possibly the worst I've ever had. It's cheap, $11., and that includes fries, but if the burger isn't worth finishing the cheap price isn't a plus. What's it take to make a good burger? I looked up In-in-Out on Google. What's their secret? Patties: 100% USDA ground chuck, shipped fresh daily and cooked to order.Produce: Whole onions and tomatoes are hand-sliced, and lettuce is hand-leafed. Plus, they have a great sauce. Well, a better bun too. It's the beef AND If Casa Jimenez could just add a couple nice lettuce leaves, a good size tomato, onions on request and then figure out a good sauce, they would have an edible burger. Charge more and don't serve something that's too bad to eat. Simple.

I asked what breakfast burrito is the best or her favorite and took her up on the recommendation of the Machaca Breakfast Burrito. Choosing to dine in I was offered chips and salsa and asked for salsa preference. No salsa bar here which was fine, I chose spicy and got a roasted red salsa and creamy green salsa. Red had more kick but the green had such a nice bright flavor. I'm sure there are more options but it was nice to trust the service to pick. Now for the burrito, the star of the show, Machaca is only 50 cents more than the bacon, coming in at around $14 which is about average around here. The size was great and a nice weight. Cutting it open there was a great mix of all the ingredients. Potatoes were a small dice and seasoned with the same spice they sprinkle on their chips I think. Fajita style onions and peppers with a generous amount of juicy Machaca, laced with perfectly melted cheese. I think there may have been some refried beans in there too since I asked for everything they recommend. If there was they were so nicely blended they didn't dominate a single bite and may have performed more as a binder. 5 stars for Location and staff were both great as it's not hard to get to off Ynez by the dealerships. It's the kind of place locals know of and tell people they got their perfect spot. Blown away by how friendly the staff is, in the morning, while taking deliveries. The Machaca Breakfast Burrito is a solid 4.9/5, would definitely order again after I try some of the others because this place is definitely going on the short list of go-to spots. They have quesaberria tacos that look awesome.

Birria for lunch? Yes, please! Ate lunch at Lola's Birria…read moreand grabbed their lunch special, birria ramen + birria taco, and let me just say... my lunch was having a whole identity crisis because it couldn't decide whether it wanted to be taco or ramen... let's have both!! They start you off with chips and both red & green salsa, and thankfully, BOTH were delightful. No sad, watery salsa situation happening here! The birria ramen came in a small soup bowl, but don't let the size fool you. That broth was packed with that rich, savory birria goodness. The birria taco was generously stuffed with meat and came with its own little container of consomé for dipping. Because apparently one can never have too much birria juice. The lunch special also comes with rice, beans, cilantro and onion, making this a pretty satisfying meal for less than $15. That's a lunch deal I can get behind! And the birria itself had what I look for: tender, juicy, slow-cooked beef with a deep, savory, slightly spicy and mildly smoky chile flavor. It should taste rich and beefy, with the spices complementing the meat rather than overpowering it, and the consomé should be flavorful enough that you'll want to drink it straight from the cup. BONUS POINTS: They don't use lard in the beans! As someone who appreciates knowing what's lurking in my side dishes, I definitely appreciate this. Overall, I liked it! If you're looking for a good-value lunch special in the area, Lola's Birria is definitely worth checking out. And if you're anything like me, you'll probably be dipping everything into that consomé.
