This taco shop is very conveniently located to my home but we've only been a handful of times. It's not bad but not great. It's pretty good though. Honestly I'd give it 3.5 stars . Service is always good though. Love the decor and they do have restrooms that are clean. Food portion is good and for the most part tasty. The salsa bar offers varieties of salsas and hotness. Had the 4 taco special. The special does not come with beans and rice (save the calories ) but comes with a drink. Had two al pastor and two pollo asada tacos. They were loaded with cooked fresh meat, onion, and cilantro. All the employees are very welcoming. You can also call your order in ahead of time and pick it up. Mi initial thoughts were that was a small hole in the wall taco shop. To my amazement! This place is huge! I've lived in the area for years and never knew this place was in my back yard! Was promptly greeted with enthusiastic service and man did they deliver quality service! Prices seemed high at first but I was surprised by the value when I received my food! Better service now with the younger girl. Great customer service and helpful/fast with the order. The birria is the best here. We did get stomach aches afterwards but not sure if it was from this or if the flu is going around? Will update as this is the second time. It was definitely the food unfortunately. Ran in here to pick up a quick lunch! The place was busy but they took your order quickly. While waiting for my order to-go I packed up my salsa at the salsa bar which had a lot of different salsa options. I had the chicken taquitos supreme. SO good, one of the best I've had since moving to Southern California. Lots of chicken, perfect crunch and lots of lettuce, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. My husband and son had the California burrito and they both said it was really good with lots of meat inside. Minus a star for 2 things-it's crazy to me that you have to pay for chips, and also they keep the napkins behind the register. I had to ask for napkins and while I was sitting and waiting a couple people went and asked for napkins. Why not just have them out by the salsa bar where the plastic silverware is?? Pretty good Mexican style fast food. Bette than Taco Bell and del taco hands down. The flavor of their food is actually really good. It's not exactly home cooked in Mexico style that I'm use to, but is still good. The breakfast burrito I gif with bacon was delicious. The tortilla was good and soft. A bad tortilla can ruin a burrito. It was large and super filling. We got the float as as well. They are very big and easily packed with chicken about an inch or more around. Pretty thick. Pretty much on par with other El Ranchito locations. Good food but not amazing. Ordered super nachos, taquito combo, and street tacos for myself, wife, and MIL last night for dinner. The carnitas tacos were a bit too salty for my taste. I ate a couple of them but didn't finish the rest. Wife loved the taquito plate with rice and beans. MIL enjoyed the nachos (no meat) as well. The chunky salsa was good but couldn't mask the saltiness of the carnitas tacos. Would eat here again but order something other than the carnitas. read more

We have tried giving this place a chance instead of our usual Cruz Tacos. We have ordered here the last few times for our Mexican food. Today I went in and ordered "shredded chicken taco" (it is a soft taco). when my order came out it was actually a street taco...big difference. when I took it to the counter to the girl, she looked at me and repeated my order to me and I said "yeah, so why did I get a street taco?" After her and another boy told me how I SHOULD have ordered it, I realized they know nothing about customer service. So if you order here make sure you say "hard shell taco with shredded chicken, but SOFT." I won't go back because thankfully they have a lot of competition. A small business that wants to bank on teenagers attitudes to customers is a hard pass for me. If the girl wanted to get my order right, she would've asked the right question rather than pick the word "soft" from my taco order and make it a street taco. Solid Mexican! And close to home. I got the Chile verde burrito with no rice and it was hot, fresh and delicious, especially with the taquera spicy hot salsa. Very very strange experience trying to use a coupon on 8/18/21. I placed a phone order to feed my family. Went to pick up and presented the coupon when she begun to ring me up. The girl asked if I stated I was using a coupon when I placed the phone order. I replied "no, sorry if I was supposed to." She than stated the coupon was only valid with purchase of a drink; I responded, "okay, I'm happy to pay for the drinks." The Cashier than stated she wasn't going to let me use the coupon or sell me a drink. It was beyond strange, I thought she was kidding at first but she sure wasn't. It was a very strange power trip from a cashier to a very calm polite customer. On principle I politely informed her I would like to cancel the order...she snatched the food off the counter and blurted something to the effect "okay, I don't care." To the management: please review your store video footage on 8/18/21 around 6:30. You have a serious employee problem. Your employee got your food wasted, got you a bad Yelp review, lost you a sale & a frequent customer. What a nightmare employee. I feel bad for the owner. read more

Aww man! I was in the shopping center and thought I'd try the place out because it smelled good from outside. Walked in and were greeted but we took our time to begin to order just to see the menu. It was a calm day, there weren't many customers. I asked about their special and got an uh huh from the cashier and asked again because I wasn't sure I was getting my question answered. I felt I had to answer my own question the young lady in the front made no effort to explain the specials or even say a yes or no word. I kind felt that my boyfriend felt uncomfortable and unattended so I asked him if he still wanted to eat and he said no.
