I had this on my bookmarks for awhile and decided to come in on the way home. It was nice because they had tvs up for fifa. Overall, I wouldn't call this an authentic Mexican restaurant. Without looking at the menu, we asked our server if they had Jamaica drink. He said yes and brought out this super bright red drink. You could tell they mixed something together. Taste like tamarind and a bunch of cinnamon. Red flag. I should have known we should have left after that. If you don't have something, why lie? We would have happily gotten something else. It was my mistake for not looking at the menu I guess. Chips and salsa were actually very good. Chips were fresh and hot. Salsa was good. Not just raw pico de gallo. As for the burrito, it was very very small for what it was. It was kinda greasy. And the taste was just okay. Bf ordered a lengua quesadilla. Was looking for something new to try while down in the area and am glad I chose this one. A very clean and quiet place with friendly service. Found out that it's family owned and mostly run, which I like to support. I ordered chips and guacamole and it came with a green salsa which was delicious and had a little spice to it. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. I had Steak burrito but i didnt expect it to come with just rice and steak and onions. I paid for supreme to come with guacamole but they put it on the side instead of inside. No beans, no lettuce, no cheese no pico nothing. And it was $13. Honestly too expensive for what it is. I have been sleepin' on this spot! The place is clean and has a big dining room for the size of the plaza that it's in. Service is great! Easy going and attentive staff. I loved the kind and welcoming vibe. The food was spectacular! Tacos were a cut above most places around here! (see photos) I was left wanting for nothing. Yumm yumm! Al pastor was the star of course. Steak tacos weren't bad the Al pastor was just better . The pupusas were good actually. I never had them and I may never have them again but they were huuuuge and delicious! I can't find anything to complain about. This was my first time visiting the restaurant since I always go to the taco truck. Well, it was very clean and cozy. The young man at the register acknowledged me as I entered and proceeded to take my order. I order 6 steak tacos and a cheese quesadilla. After paid and got my receipt, I was reading it over and saw that I was charged for a chicken quesadilla. I told the young man and he apologized and told me he overcharged me by $3. He asked if I wanted cash or for it to go back on the card. I told him card would be fine. He then told me he would do that. I wasn't feeling too confident at that moment so I asked him to write on the back of my receipt that would be getting the refund so I would have proof in case it doesn't how up within 3-5 days. Instead of doing that, he went back to the comp ur er and typed up some stuff for an about 5 minutes. Then he told me he couldn't just refund the $3 so he refunded the whole total for the quesadilla. I was very appreciative, however, it led me to wonder what would have happened if I hadn't asked him to document that I was due a refund back to the taco truck I go! read more

Located inside a plaza, it's a fast casual sort of place. We grabbed food for takeout which I'll base this review on. Tacos were okay, loaded with toppings but limited meat. Not the authentic street tacos I'm used to. The carne asada and al pastor burritos were great and flavorful. The guac and chips appetizer was disappointing..all chips little guac (see photo, don't recommend getting for the price $5) Overall, food did not disappoint and tasted authentic. Did take out. The food was delicious. I had a lengua taco, shrimp taco and al pastor taco. My favorites were the lengua and shrimp. The al pastor was good but greasy. Tried some of the chicken quesadilla. Sooooo good!!! Love that it has mushrooms in it. More meat than I've ever seen in a quesadilla. The horchata was one of the best I've had in the US. Yummmmm! Great place to get tacos! I've done the burrito - Al pastor which was very tasty. They do their Al pastor differently. It's more shredded instead of cubed with makes it a lot more juicy than some other I've tasted that are so dry. I've also had the taco Tuesday special that is 3 tacos for $6.50. The grilled beef is sooo good, chorizo and Al pastor are both excellent choices. My friend had the carnitas and said that was super delicious. Highly recommend. The tortillas are a little on the thicker side and you can tell they are home made and they don't fall apart like other ones I have had. The passion fruit drink is great, but the horchata is where it's at! Overall this place is awesome! read more

This place has the best tacos I've ever had! I work nearby and I pick up to-go orders all the time. Others that have ordered from work agree that the tacos are superior. They're very authentic tasting, the opposite of Tijuana flats lol. They're also small but filled with mostly meat so 3 small tacos really fills me up and I can eat. I also love arepas, so I typically order an arepa with extra cheese. It comes as a corn arepa patty with the cheese on top and I like to fold it in half so it's like a little sandwich. I love that you can taste the corn. If you've never had one, it's really like a moist piece of cornbread. I've never personally had the nachos but friends at work have and they love them. If you like spicy, ask for the green spicy sauce. It's amazing! This place is smaller and targeted at to-go orders rather than dine-in's. I personally wouldn't have a nice date here, but if I had enough time to sit down and eat I would. Don't bring the whole family here or anything, as it's not really restaurant style, but don't be afraid to make a large to-go order. They can handle it! read more

I saw the reviews when I was in the area looking for something to eat and decided to drop in. Restaurant interior is clean but no frills. I ordered the Lengua burrito and the nance juice. The food was delicious, and the green homemade hot sauce was flavorful not just spicy. The meat was done perfectly. The juice I haven't had prior so I can't compare it but it seemed fresh and I would order it again. The staff was pleasant and helpful. There was a TV with a European league soccer match on but it was unobtrusive so you didn't have to watch if you weren't interested and you could watch with a beer if you were so inclined. Omg! I've always wanted to try this restaurant. I've driven by it so many times and I finally built up the courage to try it. I'm so glad that I did y'all. It's a hidden gem. I've only tried the steak tacos and they were sooo good. The tortillas are def homemade. I bought a total of 3 tacos and I ate 2 of them on the drive home lol. The atmosphere was nice.
