The food here is good especially since it is one of the few quesabirria places in town. I usually get the quesatacos by themselves or the combo. They recently raised their price to $3.50 a taco so for $1.50 more you can get the side of rice and beans which I think is worth it if you want to have a more varied meal. Edit* The 10% advertised discount for paying with cash is not being charged taxes on your food or the .75 card transaction fee not an actual discount applied afterwards. We ordered the combo plate with beans, rice, and meat and quesotacos with broth. I regret to say the broth for the tacos and combo plate are the same -- so I'd recommend ordering only one of those items. In terms of seasoning, the rice was cooked well and flavorful but the beans were too salty for my taste. We enjoyed the big portion of the combo plate but it costs $12. That price is hard to justify given that this is parking-lot seating, non air-conditioned, small town, and food truck set up. read more

Okay personally I don't know the business owners and I know that this is one of the only locations that serves this kind of food in this area. I'm not a resident of Los Banos. I love to try new spots. OK 1st if you only have a 30 minute lunch please don't eat there. They are extremely slow. Today it took about 35 almost 40 minutes to receive for tacos. I understand that they are busy but a sense of urgency is important as well when you're running a fast food business. Now the taste. I wish the tacos were a little bit harder just because you're dunking them in the broth and they disintegrate right away. Thank God that they give salt packets because these needs salt and flavor. Again this is just my personal opinion. First off, today was their grand opening, so this is based solely on the food. I had a chance to try the tacos, quesadilla, quesotaco and the consomé. I've had some great Birria tacos in SoCal, but this hit the spot, meat was tender, flavorful and a nice amount in each bite. The consumé was lacking something, but when you bring everything together (cilantro, onions, consomé and salsa) this is a great taco. They provided three different salsa's and each one was great, nice amount of heat from two of the salsa's and I liked the lighter of the three (correct me if I'm wrong, but I loved the oregano flavor). Overall it was worth the wait, I will definitely be back, after the initial craze dies down. Especially to try out the ramen bowl, yup it's a thing and it's good!!!
