This has become one of my favorite tacos joints in Corona. They have speciality tacos like the Gringa which has al pastor, cheese and pineapple. Super super . The tacos are full of meat and they have all the food toppings. I will be a regular here for sure.

Food is very tasty. The burrito had cheese melted on the tortilla wrapping around the inside of the burrito so every bite was balanced with melted jack cheese. The beans are pinto and made in house and the rice was mild but flavorful. The salsa is self serve. I had the green and red and it added spice and flavor to the burrito. The tortilla is soft and has a perfect chew to it. Highly recommend. The birriongo tacos had tender and juicy birria with the right amount of jack cheese and the shell was soft but with a good crisp to it just the way you want it. Victor the manager has top notch customer service and made sure the food came out perfect. I had a great experience and will go again.

Good, not so good. Maybe a 3.5 star rating. Prices are very reasonable especially with such big servings. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pleasant little place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good, fast service. The specialty tacos were unique combinations that sounded quite tasty and fun, in theory, but a little too gringo- influenced (bland) for my tastes. Limited parking. Mr B's order was the La Gringa. It resembled a hearty mulita, made with two flour tortillas filled with al pastor and chunks of grilled pineapple. The meat was a fairly good recipe. But here is where my star rating dropped. How dare they use canned nacho cheese sauce on my Rellena Stuffed Potato. Ugh, did not impress me at all, and definitely put an awkward spin on the "y Mas" part. Thank goodness for adding copius amounts of real cheese, albeit bland. While the potato was huge and there were generous meat toppers, I questioned the smoky bacon (?) component. The other meat was a rather bland asada, finished with a drizzle of sour cream. Nice, but not the authentic Mexican flavors I love, and a touch too salty overall. So, I tried to bump it up a notch by dumping green salsa, copius amounts of cilantro, and anemic pink pickled onions just to achieve my lowered expectations. Happily, I did not walk away hungry, and I will have plenty more for tomorrow. For my money, there is a place in Fullerton whose Papa Loka (similar stuffed potato concept) far out-matches this place, insanely flavorful, but that's a different review. I also ordered a Taco Rellena to go. This was an open faced taco, layered with a grilled pasilla chile, asada meat, and slices of fresh avocado. The asada meat simply disappointed me for it's lack of flavor, but it was the avocado slices that enfuriated me. They were splotchy brown, over ripe, and bitter tasting. Those went straight into the trash. Not a fan on any level. There is a self-serve salsa bar for adding multiple degrees of heat, plus toppings and pickled veggies. The carrots, usually my favorite, left me disappointed, mushy and bland. So, IMHO, this is not the kind of place to look for authenticity or mind-blowing flavors. It is where you might come to fill your belly on a budget and for interesting, non-traditional combinations. It has its merits, but not for me.

This is a restaurant I had been wanting to try, but the perfect time didn't occur until recently. Located on Lincoln in a small, tight shopping center, the interior is very open, and it seems like a lot of people order to-go. The walls are lined with nice photos of their menu, and a small salsa bar with condiments sits in one corner. I frequently get burritos, but they have such unique takes on tacos and other dishes that I absolutely had to break out of the holding pattern. I'm happy to report that's a good plan. The food was fresh and really hot. I also realized that with the Gringa Taco, I'd need a knife and fork. Otherwise, I'd make a big mess. Their al pastor is the rotisserie sort, which hails to the Middle Eastern immigrants who inspired this from their shawerma and gyro methods. The chunks of pineapple in the pork saturated with warming and aromatic baking spices really stand out. I also loved the open-faced taco with grilled chili, cheese, and avocado. One of each was more than enough, and no rice or beans to take unnecessary space inside ;) The atmosphere is loud and vibrant, but fun if you're dining in.

Love the food here... I found out that on Sundays they have Carnitas freshly made from 9 am -12 pm and of course went to try them out last Sunday and let me tell you. They were so delicious and amazing . I came back today and they were Superb!!!!! This will be my Sunday breakfast of choice permanently!

Tried the Taco Relleno Burrito and the Tacazo Burrito. Both were amazing. Equal parts of all ingredients. No too many beans and rice. Ingredients tasted very fresh. Al Pastor cut fresh off the Trumpo ( the top shape) Salsa was sooo good. Need to come back to try their stuffed Potato or tacos. A must try.

Birriongo burrito meat is non existent might as well request no rice and beans inside to make it worth it

Check my picture for the information. I ended up getting the 3 taco plate (2 asada and 1 carnitas) and the XL meat quesadilla with asada. The carnitas was really tender and delicious. The asada was good, but it was not my favorite. I have a thing with chewy fatty pieces and I understand it is common in lower quality cuts of flap meat. This asada had quite a few pieces I had to spit out because it was just too chewy. The refried beans were good, also not my favorite though. The quesadilla was good, I liked the grilled cheese cooked prior to folding it into the tortilla with the meat. Nice touch. That grilled cheese makes a huge difference. The next 3 taco plate had pastor, asada, and shrimp (except they actually gave me fish instead). At least my girlfriend enjoyed the fish taco as well. The tacos were loaded with meat and hard to pick up. That's the best! The pastor was tender and juicy. The fish taco was freshly fried and loaded with toppings and sauce. After paying, I asked for salsa and onions/cilantro cups so I could grab it from the salsa bar before leaving, but the lady turned around and grabbed me prepackaged salsa of each kind, bagged onion and cilantro, and limes. Super nice! Salsa were all really good! Especially the green avocado salsa. I'll come back for carnitas when I'm in the mood for tacos/quesadillas. I'll probably avoid the asada though. Just not my favorite.

If we wanted another chile it would be $1.19 I been coming here for years and even though the portions have been getting smaller and the prices super high. Paying $1.19 for a chile is crazy especially when the cashier said it would have been free if we paid separately. So, remember to pay separate if you want a chile and make the wait time longer than it already is.

The quesabirria was a one of my favorite things on the menu, one of the best I've had. Everything I had was top-notch! One of the best parts was the salsa bar. I ordered in advance and went to pick up my food, but since I was starving, I ended up just eating there on their patio. The tacos were okay. Personally, I thought they were pretty mid and not as flavorful as I was hoping they'd be. They did have a spicy sauce that I dipped the tacos in, and that definitely helped the flavor. I personally didn't love the tacos, but to be fair, I also didn't try anything else on the menu so I can't speak for the rest of their food. The place itself is a decent size, and the patio area is actually pretty nice. The staff was very kind, my order was ready right on time, and I appreciated that they weren't stingy with the sauces. Overall not a bad spot, but the quesabirria tacos just didn't fully hit for me. Oh well *shrug*

Food: This is where it gets good because the food was A+++mazing. We started off with just the salsa, chips and for a nice surprise, some warm beans. The salsa brought a tear to my eye because it was soooo good. Luckily, my son doesn't eat salsa so I drank it all down. The chips were perfectly fresh and crispy. Guac: So, our waitress brought us some off the menu guac, and, WTF, why are they hiding this recipe from the rest of the world. I literally got into a fist fight with my son because he was trying to take it from me (not really) but I didn't want to share. The presentation was so cute too. Plantains + chips + guac = heavan Fajitas: I ordered fajitas and all boxes were checked, quantity, quality, and taste. I ordered the chicken and it was juicy and thick and perfectly seasoned. Steak tacos: My kid ordered the steak tacos and we brokered a deal to trade some steak for chicken and this was the best deal made since the New Deal (American history).
