I stumbled across this place because I wanted a breakfast burrito. They do not sell the typical eggy breakfast burrito, so instead I got an al pastor burrito. Their al pastor was incredibly fresh and they put so so much meat inside the burrito I thought at one point there were no rice and beans in the burrito! Highly recommend getting their burrito and their hot but delicious habanero salsa to add on top. read more

This is place is what is known as a "hole in the wall"; very quaint older place not the best part of town, not the worst... I wouldn't go there too late at night - just saying ‍ since the parking lot is not well lit. The workers are very busy but still nice.. It has a nice selection of food. I ordered the "caldo de res" (beef soup). It is reasonably priced compared to other places in the area. They also make "homemade tortillas" here. Food is very tasty! I ordered the Caldo de Res (beef soup) and it was delicious! Vegetables were nicely cooked and not mushy with nice size beef chunks. Soup comes with a side of homemade corn tortillas, mexican rice, and cilantro with onions and lime. Great portion size and at a great price! Parking lot is not very big so if you go in the evening, we you may end up parking in the dark. Despite this, it's definitely worth a try if you haven't . The food here is great. Obviously the tortas are the specialty since its in the name. Pls dont let the people who ordered something they weren't gonna like in the first place tell you its not good. They give you exactly what the dish is supposed to have and they do it well. The ambience feels like im at my relatives house which is great for a mexican place. I'm shooook I haven't written a review for this taco shop. It was one of the first ones I tried coming out here to corona and let me just tell you it is SOOOO GOOD. Their orange sauce is *chefs kiss. The asada is marinated beautifully and so is the tripa. I love that they always make the tripa extra crispy. I can't think of a place that makes better tripa. It's a small shop, but service is very friendly. I love that they offer multiple different sauces , fresh radish, jalepenos and grilled onions. If I'm not wrong I think they might make the tortillas in house too. You can't go wrong with the tacos, but let me tell you the BURRITOS are fire. The rice and beans are mouth watering and everything melts into a perfect balance in your mouth. They definitely hook it up with meat and for $10/11 I wouldn't go anywhere else for a burrito. The food was mediocre at best. My entire order was wrong. I called to let them know. Not only was the person I spoke to trying to call me crazy about my order being wrong, she literally said well I don't know what you want me to do about it. She insisted that I was wrong and that the food was in there.She told me the order was right and I told her I'd bring it back and she said do what you want. They were terrible. Taco de lengua are 5 star! Quesadillas are 4 star. This restaurant is overpriced for the quality and portions served. Staff is lacking in friendliness and customer service. The menudo was awful. It was served to me in a deep styrofoam container and I had to ask for a bowl, I had to clean residue out from the bowl. We have eaten here before. Loved the el pastor. We enjoyed the torta & chicken quesadillas . This time I tried carne asada nacho. Nice size portion & requested the sour cream and guacamole on the side. Gave us a nice amount. The bummer was the carne asada was very fatty & chewy. Not just like one bite, but several. My husband said so too. Unfortunate. We. boxed it up & will let our teenagers give it a try. Kinda lost my appetite. On a positive they Have always been friendly here & generous with the samples if I ask to try something.
