I mainly come here for the menudo (with grano- yum!) it's so hard to find a place that has menudo served daily plus menudo that taste good! I've tried menudo at other places nearby and some were bad (tasted old and gummy) and a few others were ok but this place is by far my favorite. You can tell it's made daily and is fresh. I've tried their carnitas and chilaquiles as well as a few other dishes and I've loved everything so far. I highly recommend this place. The staff is kind and is a nice family owned small business. As long as they are open I will keep coming! read more

I've been to this location twice and I 100% recommend this place. The flavor of their asada, chicken, Al pastor, and buche is SO delicious! I'm currently pregnant and we are getting food from this location for our gender reveal with close friends and family. The service is always a very pleasant experience and the guy at the register is always happy to answer any questions. I usually take it to go because I don't think there's AC available and the restaurant is always hot when I go and I can't eat comfortably, however that never stops me from grabbing tacos from here. I love that they have mini and regular size tacos. My child and I usually get between 10-12 tacos for both and it's about $20 which beats the $5 prices of the tacos next to them. This is my go to place cause in my personal experience and opinion their tacos are VERY DELICIOUS and easy to enjoy. I would love to try the rest of their menu! read more

Husband and I wanted to try a new menudo place in town so that is all we had here. Food was good, we gave the menudo a 7.3 rating out of 10. Cilantro, onion, oregano, chile de árbol, and 1/4 lime was provided with our food. We like lots of lime in our menudo so I did ask for more and was given much more lime without hesitation. I'm used to menudo that does not have hominy as that's how I grew up eating it; however, my husband neeeeeds his hominy lol. They didn't ask if we wanted it with or without hominy so not sure if they offer it with it. My first time here today was to try their menudo and it was definitely a 10/10! The portion was great and they definitely are not skimpy with the meat they serve in each bowl! Service was also very friendly and welcoming. Just like other reviews have stated, they do serve menudo 7 days a week and if you are like me and love menudo this will definitely be a perk for you. I don't know how this place has such a high rating. I ordered a "Carnitas torta" and it was absolutely horrible. I had to throw the majority of it away. The meat was cold in the center and the torta was a mushy mess. After taking the first bite, I had to open up the torta to see what I was eating because it was so displeasing to the senses. You wouldn't believe how little meat this torta had. In the first bite, I had literally eaten half of the meat in the entire torta. I usually believe in trying a place multiple times, but I feel insulted at such a complete ripoff. Obviously, no care goes into the food. Simply serving slop as quickly as possible. read more

Came to this place was in the area live in OC and was looking for a good Mexican restaurant with 5 star and place. Ordered carne Asada tacos and a Asada sope over all the food was a 5 star out of 10 , the food price to me being in Riverside was price. I wanted a plain cheese quesadilla and was 5.00 and tacos regular size tortillas was 3.50. Small little while in the wall. Over all I must say service fair and food over all I would say 3 star. I consider my self a good judge of Mexican food since I have had the best tacos and know what excellent Mexican food restaurant are around. Don't know how this place got a 5 star rating. Notice maybe cause it don't have that many rating. I believe if the food is excellent the money wouldn't be the issue worth paying for excellent food. Hope this helps people. read more

Saw this place on the way home from the gym and decided to try it saw the yelp reviews so I gave it a try and I'm glad I did! I heard the quesadilla were good so that what I went for. As you can see I Got too excited about this quesadilla I forgot to take a picture before I stared eating it! Foods really good, I had the quesadilla with the handmade tortilla with the pastor meat and it was delicious. My friend had the carne asada plate and one of each taco and we shared and that was delicious too my favorite were chorizo, asada, pastor and the tripa. Really would recommend this place as they have great customer service and food! Place is a little hidden but it's in the shopping center near a nail place and the Mexican market.
