Here's the review I told you I'd leave from earlier today! First time trying after many times seeing this place. I'm glad I made the choice to come in. I had the quesabirria combo, the birria was really tasty and tender. Everything about it was good. Like really good. Great flavor and I love the simple cheese, onion, and cilantro combination. Also, the beans are super good. You can tell if a Mexican establishment is good usually by the taste of the beans. Bomb!! Then the carne asada mulitas. Sheesh. I've never had one before and it was recommended by the owner. I'm glad I got it. The cheese grilled on the tortilla is amazing. It's basically a mini crunchy quesadilla. Same thing, good carne asada, onion, cilantro and cheese. I'll definitely order them again. Well we went in for some tacos and micheladas. We had ordered some tacos de pescado and camaron, not baja style. The had a Chipotle season and not what I was craving. I also had a torta of asada and my husband had tacos de asada. The asada was cut too finely, hard and felt like it was from the day before. Not the best. My daughter had the al pastor nachos, meh, the same as asada, felt like it was recooked and a bit dry. My niece had the quesabirria tacos and she really liked them not dry, very juicy. Love the designs on the walls here, the Musica Latina vibe, and that you can watch sports on the TV as well. On the first visit, I remember ordering the Saturday carne asada nachos special. Great nacho taste and presentation. I took the 3 quesabirria tacos home to my daughter. We both really loved them as I tried as well. Great consommé, not too salty! These quesabirria tacos were made here in no other way I have tasted yet! On the 2nd visit, we went here for my friend Lei's birthday celebration. I was able to recommend my friends to come here as it was so good and they have Taco Tuesday here! The tacos here on Tuesdays are a $1.49 each. My friends all got different tacos. Everyone seemed very happy for our party of 6. I ended up getting the full order of 3 quesabirria tacos since they were great when I tried on first visit. I also had a horchata to drink, with free refills! Also, we got free chips and salsa, love both their green and red salsas!!! My friend had a great birthday lunch and we all had a blast here!!! Today is Tuesday & we're here for TACO Tuesday! Woohoo!!! Rodolfo took our orders, was friendly & attentive. We ordered at the counter & he brought our food to our table. One lady at kitchen seemed to be the only person cooking up our food but it arrived very quickly. While waiting for our food, he brought out complimentary chips & salsa-fresh! My eyes were bigger than my stomach so I ordered 3 birria tacos & 3 fish tacos ($1.99 each, on other days, $2.99). I was hungrier than I thought & ate 4 tacos while Hubby ate the other two. He had the 3 carnitas tacos & 3 carne asada already. His tacos were flavorful as well but said his carnitas looked a little dry (meat) but tasty nonetheless. I tasted the quesabirria with the consommé, I loved the savory flavors! It's a small restaurant with only indoor seating that could fit about 20-30 people. There's fountain drinks available, a few beers, agua fresca & micheladas--will try that next time. Latin music playing loudly but lively. There's a restroom at the back towards the rear of the shop, past the kitchen. Parking is free & is shared with other businesses. Would return to try other menu items.
