Best Mexican food I've had in Colorado so far! Being a Californian I've been searching for years and the smothered chile Al pastor burrito was amazing. Staff and environment is very authentic and so kind! Loved it!

Been a while since I've eaten here and it was good for the first few visits and then went down hill a little, BUT now the bar has been raised and they are pumpin the food along with the tunes. There is a a little bit of a language barrier but we got through when I placed my order. Chips and water were brought to the table quickly and then I headed for the salsa bar. Standard offerings of salsas and cut veggies all fresh and tasty, the spiciness of the salsas has dropped imo so the flavor of each is more pronounced. Before I returned to the table the food was served hot and fast. My god the torta was HuGE! Probably had at least two whole avocados of guacamole on it along with a healthy serving of meat, beans, lettuce and cheese which was a great! My taco was simple with just meat on a fresh made tortilla, the meat was perfectly seasoned and super tender. The quesadilla was falling apart with the amount of steak filling it as equally as flavorful and tender as the torta. Great late night spot and worth the drive if you live in a different good

I went today at dinner time, it was a really terrible experience, i ordered a taco plate with 2 asada and 1 barbacoa, my tacos didnt have anything, no onions, cilantro nothing just meat. So I went to the salsa bar and all the veggies were frozen, i asked the cashier/waitress for unfrozen food and she said that was all they have until next day and it was barely 5pm so i refused to pay and eat those plain tacos because they never told me about this when I ordered it. My family and I never got any chips and salsa, we had to go and get our drinks, everything was very bad. We will not come back.

Amazing food ! Being from El Paso Texas it's been hard to find authentic tacos here in Denver ! But this place is very authentic and has an amazing amount of salsa choices ! They even have grilled jalapeños ! Love love love this place ! Best find on federal! Friendly staff and fast service 10/10

On a last minute quest for finding some authentic tacos, my boyfriend and I stumbled on this place before turning around. I was relieved when I smelt the heavenly scent of carne asada. Authentic - carne asada! We sat ourselves as I quickly scammed the menu. I didn't care about tortas, or burritos, or plates... just give me some cheap tacos that allowed me to eat them in an efficient manner. My mouth started watering when I glanced at people's food arriving at the table. I ran for the salsa bar and grabbed all the cilantro, onions, and lemon slices my little hands could get a hold of (love love love it!). When the food arrived, I observed it - and yes it looked edible, threw all the extra crap that makes anything taste good on top, then stuffed it in my mouth. Yes... definitely was edible. Aside from the major portions of meat that my flour tortillas could hold, the carne asada and al pastor tacos were filling. My boyfriend literally had to roll himself out of the restaurant. For Denver, this place is decent, do-able, and will continue to have my business in the future!

Sat at this dirty table for 10 mins and still didn't get cleaned.

The outside covered patio, surrounded by gorgeous greenery, is a soothing and welcome break after a hard day at work. The decor throughout the restaurant is stunning. The food is amazingly delicious. Fresh salsa and homemade chips kick off a wide array of elevated Mexican dishes. We absolutely love the Chicken Tinga with jalapeño cream sauce, and the mini rellenos--served with their own special dipping sauce--are not to be missed. They've officially become my new favorite. Service is exceptional! The staff is kind and accommodating from the moment you arrive until the very end of your meal. We love it here and can't wait to come back!

The restaurant itself has pretty, modern decor and was fairly busy on the weekend, so I wouldn't expect especially fast service on busier days. I enjoyed the Coco No Loco drink. It definitely gave tropical vacation vibes. The other dish I enjoyed was the birria fries, particularly the birria itself. The fries were a little unusual. There were also plenty of parking spots available outside, which was convenient.

We spoke with David and learned about their food and how much love they put in each dish. They have only been opened for 2 years. Service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean and modern. The food was phenomenal and Itacate is added to our list now. For starters, the fresada was delicious. It is a strawberry lemonade. I also ordered a Mango version to go. Very refreshing. We started off with the Queso Fundido with chorizo. It was hot and the cheese was just so good and stretchy. Such a nice find - we don't see it on menus in Colorado so must try. We ordered several tacos - birria, cochinita, shrimp, and fish. Every taco was delicious and full of flavor on its own. The rice and beans were also very well made. Each bite just bursts in flavor. David was kind enough to also let us try the Pambazo which is kind of like a torta but they grill it with the sauce on the outside. And if you put an egg in it, it can be fantastic breakfast sandwich. For dessert, we ordered the deditios con nieve which is funnel fries with sauce and coconut ice cream. It's deconstructed funnel cake essentially which my bf enjoyed because he can eat just the fries and ice cream. All in all, 10/10 experience. We will def be back
