I honestly just come here every Tuesday after class, and it rarely ever disappoints. The beef or chicken street tacos are best! There's also a "self serve" station in the middle where you grab your own limes, cilantro, onions, and sauces. It's definitely one of the better taco places in the northern Fort Worth area! read more

Love the lengua here! It is authentic & delicious. Our other favorites are pupusas, the flautas, & the empanada de plátano. Wish they had more authentic agua options (they have limonada & horchata). But we have been regulars since the Beach location opened & will continue to be. It is always clean, including the rr which is a huge plus. read more

This is by far the worst place I have ever eaten pupusas at. The place had absolutely no flavor needed salt for flavor and as soon as I left the runs occurred. Would not recommend there are many more places around here with a good atmosphere and taste. Don't wast your money or time here. read more

Their pupusas have greatly improved. I stopped coming here for a couple of years after the pupusas were made so tiny and lacked the proper stuffing of ingredients. You were more eating the masa than anything else back then. However, I have stopped by a couple of times now and the pupusas have a more auhentic flavor and properly stuffed. I hope they continue to make good pupusas moving forward. read more

Went Saturday afternoon, food was very good! My dad and I had the fish! It was delicious! Usually get it to go but this time decide to dine in. Customer service could be a little better once the order is to dine in but you will just have to ask if you need anything. My husband and I came here for breakfast, I had heard rave reviews so we wanted to try it. It was absolutely delicious! Authentic and the girl at the register helped us with what to order, as some of the menu was different than we were used to. We went there totally banking on word of mouth, and we were not disappointed! I had high hopes for this place. First the cashier is slow and doesn't speak much English. That's no issue because I speak Spanish. Then I quickly figured out it wasn't that she didn't understand English very well, it's that she is lost. We finally got the order done. The wife and I ordered tacos and the kids pupusas and quesadillas. Since I got street tacos I wanted some lime. My wife asked if they had any the the lady was confused. So I asked for some in Spanish and she didn't know what a lime was. She pointed and said they only had lemons Tacos had zero flavor. It was cooked meat and tortilla. That's it. My American wife cooks with more spices and flavors. Rice was the same, no flavor. Tried the kidos pupusas and same thing. It was corn meal, cheese and meat. If you like bland food with little to no flavor than this is the spot for you. read more

Not really sure how they got such high ratings. I ordered a taco to go. When I got home I opened the box and found a flat tortilla open face with a few pieces of beef. The traditional taco elements were missing like tomato, lettuce, cheese. I'm not sure if they forgot those or they just don't do that. Ate at this location a little while ago and enjoyed the unique combination of tacos and pupusas offered here. This restaurant offers real, authentic traditional style Mexican and Salvadorian cuisine options as well as fresh side options as well. The tacos are quite tasty, quite similar to a traditional street taco and the pupusas are also delish too. The tacos were amazing. I came here on taco Tuesday when street tacos are only $1. I got 2 tongue and a pork, the flavor of the pork was really tasty and the tongue tacos were nice and tender. I think they are a little smaller than the standard taco because the tortilla is smaller but it's still filled with lots of meat. The street tacos here didn't already come topped with onions and cilantro, you put that on at the little condiment bar they have. Shortly after eating my first taco I did find a nice pile of sautéed onions which were really good. We also ordered chips and salsa with our tacos and the salsa was super watery, I won't buy it again. The strange thing was, it tasted like it was really good salsa once and then they realized that they needed more so they added water. The salsa was bland but spicy. So I'm thinking they added too much water, there's no way it was tomato juice. We also ordered a side of rice and it was nice, could use more flavor and a little more cooking time in my opinion. The condiment bar was nice. They had all the salsas there and little containers, there was lime, lettuce, picked pink something?, roasted peppers, slaw, and cilantro with and without onions. I always top my tacos with verde sauce and the verde sauce here isn't spicy. The tacos here are really great and I'll come back. read more

****This is an updated review**** As time has passed, this restaurant has become more popular, rightfully so because the food is good. One would think that gaining popularity and with the increase of patrons they would hire more people; however, it appears that they have been understaffed for a while. I now see long lines, long waiting times for food, and I've gotten the wrong order a time or two. Some of the staff they do have, like some of the girls taking the food orders at the front, seem put off by their job. They appear to be unhappy that you are bothering them and that they have to take your order. Customer service is a big part of the restaurant business. The food is still good, but this restaurant needs to invest in more employees. If they can't hire more employees, they should at least make sure the ones they do have don't have a terrible attitude and make customers feel like they are a bother. read more

My wife went to the vape shop next door and noticed this place opened up. She said the barbacoa was sooooi good. So I had to try. Took my 3 yr old with me. For a picky eater he at two steak tacos. Have you eaten here before? I have many times. It's Salvadorian food which is very similar to Mexican in every way. Simple layout of the store typical of a strip center restaurant. Pay first service where you can quickly order from pictures on the wall and pick a daily special from the chalk board. Prices are very reasonable compared to larger Mexican chain restaurants. Behind the counter is a drink fridge with a large selection of regional sodas or there is a soda fountain. At the salsa bar, there are three different salsas and at least two different picos to choose. I am not exactly sure what it's called but there is shredded cabbage and pickled carrots and fresh serranos. Order a chicken or pork papusa. You will post you own description right after eating one. They are that good. I think that part of town is considered Fort Worth but I call it my Watauga favorite. I might have already written a review last year when we first moved to Watauga but I just ate there tonight and thought you needed to hear about this place. read more

Went for the first time on a Saturday evening, pleasantly surprised to see a long line with the dining room full of guests already. I am also a huge fan of a salsa bar! The beef tacos and flautas were amazing. Tortillas were delicious and so was the variety of salsas to pic from. I'm sad I haven't tried this place sooner! The food here is amazing. My husband and I used to go all the time but a couple months ago it seems the service has declined dramatically. They will forget part of your order that has already been paid for. This has happened at least twice so we stopped going unless we're craving it a lot! This weekend we gave it another go and placed an order To-Go. We got home and to no surprise were missing an order of beans and rice. We checked the receipt to make sure we ordered it and it was clearly listed that we paid $1.50 for each. Again, the food is amazing but it's a shame the service is not up to par. read more
