    This is a Patty Melt

Once again I'll tell ya'll this place is a well kept secret, a little off the beaten path. They sever outstanding food at very reasonable prices with service that can't be beat. Last night three of us throughly enjoyed ourselves, two having patty melts, one with their seasoned fries, the other with their home made chips, Super tasting for all! I had the Catfish which was also super with mixed Vegs and a Ceasar side salad, which was one of the best ever. If you read this I highly recommend you check it out!

    Covered fries and wings.

Here for Sunday football. Excellent atmosphere. TVs labeled for games. Alisa working was friendly and attentive. 20 plus people on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly staff and great food. Wings are fantastic. Had the garlic parm wings and buffalo parm. Both amazing.

I come back for the Uptown every time! But the egg rolls and wings were a delight too. Wings were over cooked by a couple short minutes but the flavor was great. Our waitress was lovely and attentive! We love coming here for the friendly small town atmosphere.

    Cuban half demolished! SO GOOD!

The service is expedient and the food is FRESH! Got the Cuban with chips. The Cuban is LOADED with fresh protein and the chips are cooked just right! I came here about a year ago and it was good, but it's improved since then! Nice to find when most places are struggling to find staff. Plenty of help and friendly faces!

Awesome staff and nothing that isn't great on the menu. The only local bar/restaurant we frequently visit. Love this place!

Fries were cold and the burger looked like a pre-made patty from Walmart. Not the worst but definitely not the best.

We recently hosted our daughter's First Communion celebration at Ophelia's Wines & Bites, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. Throughout the planning process, numerous promises were made regarding setup assistance, décor, staffing, food portions, beverage service, and overall event coordination that were either not followed through on or changed entirely by the day of the event. Family members and guests ended up handling many tasks that we were told would already be completed, including decorating, organizing tables, lighting candles, and addressing missing items while guests were arriving. Food portions were much smaller than represented during the tasting, several items we expected to be included were charged separately, beverage service was poorly managed, and there was little to no actual table service despite paying for what was presented as an "all-inclusive" event experience. Most upsetting was the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability afterward. We spent a significant amount of money expecting professionalism and hospitality, but left feeling stressed, embarrassed, and taken advantage of during what should have been a very special day for our daughter. I am sharing this simply so others thoroughly clarify ALL expectations, pricing, staffing, setup responsibilities, food quantities, and service details in writing before booking an event there.

The atmosphere is charming, and the space itself appeared clean, but the place was completely empty during our visit, which surprised us. I ordered a Lambrusco from the sparkling section of the menu and expected something bubbly, but what came out was a still red wine. Everyone at the table was a little confused by that. Thankfully it still tasted good, so I kept it -- just not what I thought I ordered. For food, I had the crostini, which tasted good, but for the price I expected larger portions rather than very thin slivers of toasted bread with cheese and fruit. We also ordered the s'mores, which were fun and tasty, but again didn't quite feel worth the cost. A few more strawberries or a way to toast the marshmallows would've elevated it. The service was truly great, though. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, attentive, and checked on us often. She was definitely the highlight of the visit. The only real downside was seeing a few roaches on the wall. I know it's the South and it happens, but it's still not ideal in a dining setting, even in a place that otherwise seemed clean. Overall, Ophelia's has so much charm and potential, and with a few improvements -- clearer menu descriptions, portion adjustments, and addressing the pest issue -- it could be a wonderful go-to spot.

And figured why not give them a shot. And I am glad we did. The service was great , food was very delicious and cooked properly. The drinks were awesome from behind the bar that we tried. The online instructions said it would track your location so they know when you arrive so they can bring your food out, but this never happens. Arrived at 6:37 Pm and parked in the to go pick up parking space, waited 20 minutes, called the restaurant and received no answer, so I went inside and spoke with the bartender about my pick up order, to which she replied " They are making it right now". I continued to wait at the bar until my food was brought out to me at 7:28pm. Some details I realized while I was sitting at the bar Was I was not alone in my experience this night as the to go pick up spots were all filled and customers were starting to follow suit and enter the restaurant to inquire about their meals. I also noticed that the reason I could not get through to anyone was because the employees had taken the phone off of the hook to which I took a picture. When I returned home and sat down to eat the food, I noticed upon opening the container that the meal appeared to be just noodles and the honey chicken tenders no four cheese whatsoever and this took from 6:20 pm when I ordered online to 7:28 PM when I finally received the meal. I've given this location multiple chances, as this was not the first time I've ordered online and no one came out with food, leaving me no option, but to go in and inquire about my meal. This was the last chance. This location has permanently lost a customer. I will not be returning.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, welcoming staff and an atmosphere that feels both relaxed and elevated--casual enough to enjoy comfortably, yet clearly driven by culinary passion and quality. The food is exceptional. The truffle short rib pizza is a standout and truly unforgettable. The short rib is tender, rich, and deeply flavorful, perfectly complemented by the earthy truffle notes without being overpowering. The crust is expertly done--crispy on the outside with just the right chew--clearly the result of skill and attention to detail. Knowing that the ingredients are made in-house only adds to the appreciation; every bite tastes intentional, fresh, and thoughtfully crafted. The cheesesteak egg rolls are another must-have. Crispy on the outside, generously filled, and bursting with savory flavor, they strike the perfect balance between comfort food and elevated appetizer. Dipping them into the spicy ketchup takes them to the next level, adding just the right amount of heat and tang to round everything out. Service truly elevates the experience. Dasha was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure everything was perfect without ever feeling intrusive. She keeps recommending items and pairings which made the interaction very entertaining. Her attentiveness and making sure service was top tier was met with perfection! Meeting the owner was a highlight as well. Learning that he was trained internationally within Michelin-star restaurants explains the level of execution and creativity on the menu. That high-level training clearly translates into the food, while still maintaining an approachable, community-focused vibe. You can tell when someone loves what they do especially as a chef because you can taste it in their food. Overall, Fireside Pizza is doing something special in Moncks Corner--combining top-tier culinary technique, house-made ingredients, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Tucked away in a little corner beside the KFC, this hidden gem is so worth a revisit for the whipped ricotta and fried dough. This is easily a five-star experience and a place that deserves repeat visits. Highly recommended.

Overall, it ended up being one of those meals that was perfectly fine--nothing bad, but nothing that really wowed us either. We started with the Brussel Sprouts, which were definitely the highlight. Nicely cooked, flavorful, and a great way to kick things off. We shared a Margherita pizza that was just okay--good enough, but a little forgettable compared to other spots around town. The Sicily salad was next, and if you're a salad person, you'll probably enjoy this one. It was fresh, well balanced, and one of the more satisfying dishes we tried. We also ordered the Drunk Cutlet sandwich. The flavors were there, but the cutlet itself was super thin, so it felt a little underwhelming for the size of the bread. The short rib bolognese was solid--comforting and hearty, though not something I'd rush back specifically for. All in all, Fireside is a decent neighborhood spot for a quick, easy meal. It didn't blow us away, but it's a reliable option when you want a casual bite without much fuss.
