Had lunch here today., there were four of us. We were all pleased with the service and the food, it was a very leisurely lunch. Pat had the lunch Special which was a seafood type platter with shrimp, clam strips, hush puppies and haddock along with fries. It was huge and she started with a box so she could eat what was left on her plate. I had the Betty's Cheeseburger with fries, and the fries were excellent as well as the burger, it was large! Ginny had what I had only medium well and the wife had the BBQ burger. All awesome, the only problem was she ordered potato salad and it came out with fries. We spoke up and presto potato salad in addition to the fries. What can you say, so an error was corrected immediately, as it should be. We will be back. read more

Over an hour for a fried chicken sandwich. OVER AN HOUR. If only one wait staff and two kitchen staff show up, warn customers they will go over their one hour lunch break. I really like just about everything on the menu, but especially the steak, burger, and seafood options. Everything is prepared well and quickly and tastes delicious. Good and fast service. Ordered Crab dip appetizer, tasty very good, served with cellophane wrap saltines, probably would be better if I didn't have to open each little package. Entree was 20 oz. Ribeye, cooked medium rare ( what I ordered) ok piece of meat, quite a bit of gristle and fat but tasty. String beans were cooked, firm with some bacon fat very good. Mashed potatoes with Gravy-ok. Bricks Station is a casual eat in where the tables are covered with checkered tablecloths and the Beef is yummy and they may have to wheel you out on a dolly because you ate too much plus you want to save some $ then go too this Steakhouse they also do take out. We went here for Father's Day and was so disappointed. The lunch menu was full large dinner items to start and rather pricey. We ordered a special fish and chips. Nothing fancy and arrived cold. The shrimp Po Boy had 6 whole shrimps, lettuce and tomato on a sub roll (sounds like a sub not a Po Boy). The shrimp was cold as well. The food over all was bland and cold. The servers were nice but a little overly enthusiastic. When we went to the cashier to pay our bill, she did not ask how our meal or service was, she just took the credit card. First visit here... had read reviews and was expecting more. Steak was thinly sliced so looked more like flank steak not filet but for $12.95 you get what you pay for. Tasted good. Knife was dull so made it hard to cut. Potato was a kind of brown color but tasted fine. Salad with blue cheese dressing which was thicker than I expected but tasted good. Blue cheese dressing has $.50 upcharge. Meal served on small plates so I guess steak looks bigger but didn't work. Just looked like it was a small steak on a small plate. Came for lunch and got the fried chicken lunch special. Came with 3 pieces of fried chicken and 2 sides for $6.75. I subbed out my 2 sides for a side salad. The fried chicken was crispy but lacked seasoning/flavor. I initially wanted just a salad but the few salads they ordered were $12. Ribeye was thin and flavorless, way too much fat and the mashed were thin and watery. With a shared desert and tip we were $40 out the door and felt let down. My boyfriend and I have eaten here twice. The first time the service was good but the food wasn't. Tonight was the second time we've been here; we decided we'd give it another shot. Today the service nor the food was good. I ordered a cheeseburger and I honestly have had better burgers off of the dollar menu at McDonalds. You can hear the cooks and servers talking from almost anywhere in the restaurant. The first time we ate here we were sitting near the front of the restaurant, towards the front door, and we could hear the cooks making snarky remarks about people's orders, such as "Who could eat this much food". I also didn't like that there seemed to be a sort of issue with the waitresses stealing tables from each other, and lacking a good routine. There's definitely a southern grandma in the kitchen because everything is seasoned well and the collards are delicious! The oyster platter is twice the size of anywhere else, and the country fried steak has the most delicious homemade gravy. The homemade blue cheese is thick and delicious on everything. All the portions are big, so try to save some room for the homemade desserts. This is my new favorite place for dinner. read more

We ended up sitting at the bar because everyone was waiting on a clean table and when we asked the bartender for napkins to wipe off the bar, she had to dig under stuff to find them. A very clean and friendly establishment in Moncks Corner, SC. We were greeted when we arrived and seated immediately. The lunch specials were explained to us so we could make informed selections. On their eclectic menu you will find: hamburgers, seafood, spaghetti, steaks, chicken, pork chops, salads and southern sides. I am sure you will find something to suit your appetite.
