Great service and excellent food! The cheese burger with egg and blue cheese was our favorite! The spaghetti was good too! We will definitely be coming back!

Brecks Station on Railroad Avenue and in Moncks Corner is an excellent place to get a quality meal for a good value in a laid back and comfortable place. I really like just about everything on the menu, but especially the steak, burger, and seafood options. Everything is prepared well and quickly and tastes delicious. The staff here is very friendly and goes out of their way to provide good service. If you are hungry and in the area they are well worth a visit.

It's wing night. Usually the best wings in town. Tonight the wings were small, many drink was not refilled and I had to ask 2x for my celery and ranch. They were not THAT busy. Cmon m

Good and fast service. Ordered Crab dip appetizer, tasty very good, served with cellophane wrap saltines, probably would be better if I didn't have to open each little package. Entree was 20 oz. Ribeye, cooked medium rare ( what I ordered) ok piece of meat, quite a bit of gristle and fat but tasty. String beans were cooked, firm with some bacon fat very good. Mashed potatoes with Gravy-ok. Ice tea was excellent and they kept it refilled when it got low.

Biggest burger in Moncks Corner. Two monster thick patties. Hard to eat and messy but good.

Moncks Corner has so many fast food restaurants but today I wanted to spend my money on a local establishment That's My Dawg. I walked in, weary from a long day running events to be greeted by a guitarist, backing tracks, and 6 whooping elderly patrons. They were enjoying themselves, a little tipsy, and loud. Fortunately I wasn't looking for peace and quiet, just a quick to go order of a chili dog, sausage dog, wings, and onion rings. I shuffled my way to the counter, carrying the weight of the day only to wait 5 minute before spoken to by one of the servers. My order was placed quickly and was assured it would be out "soon." I took my seat to listen to a good guitarist with better backing tracks fighting a losing battle with the impending headache forming at the back of my skull. At the 10 minute mark I considered ordering a drink to silence my inner voice of doubt telling me I should have just gone to Chick-fil-a but surely my food would be out "soon." At the 20 minute mark, the guitarist stopped his set to take a break as I watch other patrons receive their food and drinks after I had ordered. I could only assume extra time and attention was being used for me. Perhaps they needed to grind the sausage in the back before cooking and serving it for my order. Perhaps they had to pluck all those fresh chicken wings. Maybe they were harvesting the onion in real time to deliver it to me. My orders surely not just food, but a statement of art and love too beautiful for human consumption. My excited and eagerness grew until the 30 minute mark when a different server asked if I had been helped. Was my order lost? Had I been forgotten? Maybe they weren't freshly grinding my sausage dog after all! Everything seemed to be ok because after I said I had a to go order, she never returned to give me an update. I had considered resting my eyes, which became increasingly difficult after the guitarists mandatory rendition of "Sweet Caroline" at the 45 minute mark. That's when the angel from the kitchen appeared, bag in hand. My expectations: high My anticipation: at a fever pitch My hunger: endless My reason to give my wife for taking so long: formulating I smiled and took the bag eagerly to my car to drive the 5 minutes to my house to enjoy this meal clearly crafted with an artist's hand and a mother's heart. ...the first words my wife spoke regarding her hot dawg was "weird" My sausage dog was serviceable, the wings were serviceable, the onion rings were also....serviceable. As I sat on my couch ignoring survivor, trying to enjoy the food I waited an entire set to receive, and holding back a primal scream regarding my 6am call time; a single tear fell down my cheek in my sheer disappointment and defeat from this experience. Maybe I'll go back when I'm not coming from work, and have no where to be urgently, and there isn't entertainment, and can order food in my third Jack and Coke. I really do want to try one of the great hot dogs I've been hearing about.

First off, it's not busy so you can easily walk in without a reservation. Next is that you get to experience more of the fun items on the menu that you don't order when you go to a big dinner. And lastly, I can spend fifty bucks on an amazing meal instead of $300. I'm still going to plan fancy dinners there for wonderful steaks, sides, and wine, but this casual early dinner is an overlooked option. This time around we had the wedge salad which they split on to two plates for us making it easy to share. I loved the whole strip of crispy bacon on top too. We also tried the stuffed mushrooms and the steak nachos. The stuffed mushrooms were fine, but not a favorite item so I may not get them again. The star of the show were the nachos! They didn't skimp on any of the ingredients and had a big scoop of guac and sour cream on the plus there was probably a whole steak cut up and spread throughout. The nachos are a must have. Next time I need to try the burger or the hot dog and report back.

The tartare was excellent! The oysters had a strange taste that I was not a fan of. However, I do want to mention my dirty martini was phenomenal!! For my entree, I ordered the 8oz filet mignon, medium-rare. As soon as the server put the plate in front of me, they whipped out a flashlight, shined it on my plate and asked me to cut into the middle of the steak to ensure it was cooked correctly. This bothered me for multiple reasons: 1.) for a restaurant of this caliber, I would expect the chef to know if my steak is cooked correctly and 2.) I like to cut into my steak at the end not the middle. It was cooked correctly but it was not as juicy/flavorful as I hoped it would be. The sides for our table were the most impressive part of my meal; perfect mashed potatoes and probably one of the best creamed spinaches I've ever had! Oddly enough, it was more crunchy than creamy but somehow it worked and tasted delicious. I've had both better and worse steakhouse experiences but at this price point, I expected just a tad bit better. I would still recommend checking this place out and deciding for yourself ;)
