Man this place was incredible. It was truly happenstance that we came here for lunch since we aren't from the area, but I am so glad we did. The service was AMAZING. Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and kind. The outside seating area is perfect for a nice day, and I so wish we could come back for a fun summer night hang with friends! I'm tempted to come back in the summer just to come to this place. I ended up getting the holiday beer with lucky charms, and it was like I wanted to buy some to take home but it was sold out because everyone else realized it was so good. I mean truly just an all around amazing experience from the beer to the lunch special pizzas and garlic knockers. My husband had already said this will be a staple for our future Nashville trips. Huge space with multiple rooms and a massive outdoor space that also has a covered heated area. The outdoor space is relatively bare bones but the views a Nashville nature. Outside also has a big projector screen for games and seasonal family movie nights! Indoors is funky, rustic and eclectic with a graffiti barn aesthetic. The beer is awesome and ever changing. Low ABV but tons of options. They have a full bar and delicious pizza too! This is a must go for everyone! read more

First time at Tailgate. Sunday mid day and the place was quite lively. Great selection of beers. Good friendly service at the bar only. Also a food option. Order at the counter. We got a street corn pizza which was really good but it did take about 45 minutes to get it after order. I'd return with knowledge of that time issue. read more

We have been meaning to check this place out and so glad we finally did! What a fun spot! Awesome place to hang with friends, your S.O. or bring the Fam! Extensive beer selection, as well as cider options and a bar! Great selections to make a Flight! Hands down...most amazing beer we tasted was the Good Luck Charms! Seriously tastes like cereal milk (in a good way) and you can take marshmallow at the end! It was "magically delicious!" So delicious we got a growler of it for the house, which I rarely buy at any brewery. We didn't have any food but it looked good. Plenty of seating options. Plus they have an outdoor are with picnic table and a another building/garage type area with more seating! But it was too cold that day! Family friendly! Really great staff - especially Jeremey who greeted us and explained the layout of the brewery! Also Rebecca at the bar was awesome! Definitely will be back! read more

Great list of beers. If you like beer come here. The pizza was very good. Great sauce on it, and the sausage is sliced not ground. We ordered a large for 3 people and we took some home. Also the garlic knots is an excellent choice as well. Tasted good the next day too! Service was fast and efficient. Everyone was super friendly. This is a great place to hang out with friends and family. The art work is insane and great to look at and the outside is super cool and wide and big. Delicious pizza, serving both Detroit style and thinner crust options. Every month they have a pizza special, like chicken caesar salad pizza. Large outdoor patio and a covered barn where they play movies/sports games. So many in house beers on tap. They also have ciders and non-alcoholic beer too. I have not strayed from the whipped ricotta pizza from my prior visit's. I got it once and I'm hooked. Just delicious. But did finally try something new and ordered the loaded taco fries basket and even though the description said, it had spicy ranch on it, I did not find it overly spicy. Fries were perfect amount of crisp and toppings were great. Only con to my visit was there are no windows in the interior space and so it felt confined even in the big place. Tailgate Brewery is the best brewery in Nashville. They go above and beyond with everything they do. The beer is amazing. They are constantly putting out new beers weekly all year long. The mug club is a crazy good deal and value. The pizza is my favorite in Nashville. The staff is always extremely nice and helpful. Updating my review from a few months ago - still 5 stars! This time of year (fall) their back outdoor space is a must for enjoying the crisp evening weather as the Tennessee summer finally cools off. Recently, my wife and I have been cutting back on alcohol but still enjoy coming to tailgate for food and the atmosphere. Just moved to Nashville and this gem is down the street from us. Their pizza! to die for. Try it with the hot honey on the side and you're in for a treat. Great selection of beers made by them. Such a fun place to get pizza and beer with friends and/or family! Beer is great, my friend and I also got to try their margaritas which were so good. The food was great. The beers were very good and they had a pretty large selection as well. They have an area in the back where you can sit outside. You're allowed to bring your dogs to the sitting area outside, which multiple people did the day we visited. Everyone working was very nice and helpful. I'll absolutely visit again. read more

I have been to Tailgate Brewery on multiple occasions. My favorite night to go is on Wednesdays since they have 1/2 off dine-in pizza!! The staff at Tailgate are welcoming and check on you throughout your time! The pizza is really good but 1/2 off always makes it even better!! The pizza was $12 after tax, on Wednesdays. In the $12 price, this included the Parmesan cheese on the side, which is $.50. This was my first time trying the Detroit-style pizza and I would get it again, although I do enjoy their regular-style pizza more! If you're looking for a nice vibe, they have a great outdoor courtyard area. They have projectors outside where they show movies every Thursday during the summers. Not pictured but I also got an IPA this night and they always have a good selection of beer. read more

My favorite brewery in Nashville! I think Middle Tennessee is SLACKING on good craft beer with the exception of Tailgate. My ride or die is the Orange Wheat - similar to a blue moon, but they consistently roll out limited flavors that I have recently been obsessed with, including a Lucky Charms beer at St Patrick's Day and two collaborations with the local zoo: Girrafic Park Pilsner and the Tim Maccaw Blueberry Blonde. They also have a Pickle Gose for the other shameless pickle fans out there. I am not a member of the Mug Club (but want to sign up) but essentially it's a yearly fee that is inexpensive with all kinds of deals. Everyone I've talked to that is a member raves about how worth it the fee is. The ambiance at this location, or the HQ, is incredible. The brewery and taproom is massive and the outside patio and grassy area is the perfect spot for a spring, summer, or fall Friday/Saturday night. They also have a covered area outside that would be great for private parties. They additionally have an outdoor big screen - the other night they were playing Shrek when I was there. Very family and dog friendly. The pizza is fairly good too, I pretty consistently get the meat lovers but a lot of people love the taco pizza or the hot honey. Each month they offer a specialty pizza which is honestly usually a complete hit or complete miss - one month it was a Thai Chicken pizza which I still have dreams about but this month the pizza has dates on it... not for me but appreciate the creativity. Bring back the Thai Chicken!! read more

This is my favorite TailGate location! The nice open back area is awesome to eat outside and have a drink with friends. The whipped ricotta pizza is a must try along with the garlic knockers. Cool spot, great outdoors space, beer for Nashville is solid, pizza is a disappointment if your ordering Cheese/pepporoni similar too what you would get at Costco. Specialties are a whole different story. The Taco pizza when I lived here 4 years ago became an instant weekly pickup. Whipped Ricotta/ Hot Honey both fire! Just wished they did not cook the pizza in a silicon/plastic basket thing due too the bubble texture. What a fantastic spot! I had passed this location several times, and never stopped. Now I can't wait to go back. I was here for a graduation happy hour celebration. Lots of space we were in the back area. The bar area is big with tables and bar seats. The outdoor area is fantastic- there is are two covered areas. One where doggos are welcome one that is fully enclosed. The barrel stout was delicious. Also the Mexican Pizza was awesome I will be going back for that for sure. read more

We came with friends and family and liked the atmosphere, but Tailgate's business model is really inefficient. After standing in the food line for 30 minutes, we then had to stand in a beverage line for even longer. I would say we had food within 75 minutes of ordering. This business really needs servers or self ordering kiosk stations. We all would have had two or three more beers per adult had it not been for lines. By the end of the night the kids were restless and climbing the furniture out of boredom and no one wanted to brave the line for another beer. The food was pretty good and we would come back with the whole crew and spend a lot more money if they eliminate all of the lines. read more

First time visitors but not the last time......will be one of our "go to"(s) places for sure. The owner?/manager approached us as we entered and gave us a detailed summary of how to maneuver through the building. It is basically self serve (sort of). You order your food at one station and drinks at another. However, there is only one tab. Don't worry...they keep it straight. They are that good. My husband and I each ordered our own small pizza. He had the Meat Lovers Pizza and I had the Hot Honey Pizza. We each made it a TOP SHELf which is added Parmesan cheese, fresh basil and seasonings which include red pepper flakes. Yes, it is worth the extra money. Be careful though, the red pepper flakes with the jalapeños already on the Hot Honey makes it a little hot. We each got a Beer Flight. You get to try four of their tap beers. We each especially enjoyed the Imperial Peanut Butter Stout. Don't just enjoy these pictures ....go and enjoy the place like we did. Oh oh.....the warmer days will be enjoyed on their outdoor patio. There are plenty of tvs inside and outside with your favorite sports showing. And if you have a dog, bring it too. read more

The Taproom offers a wide variety of 30 house-made beers on tap ranging from Barrel-Aged beers, to west coast IPAs and an extensive sour program. The Taproom offers wine, liquor, and several non-alcoholic options. A full gourmet pizza menu provides guests with both dine-in and take-out options. As we spent our time no one seem to as if we needed anything or if our selection were ok. We got some "why are you in here type" looks. I was not impressed by this brewery. I'm 30 years old and have used this license without issue for years. When I asked what specifically was wrong with the ID, nobody could provide an explanation. Instead, staff consulted a manager and simply told me they would not be serving me. Meanwhile, the other members of my group, all around the same age and carrying valid IDs, were able to order drinks without issue. As an Asian customer, I left this establishment believing I was racially profiled. I was singled out, denied service despite presenting valid identification, and never given a legitimate explanation for why my ID was supposedly unacceptable. Since the incident, I have found multiple reviews from other customers of color describing experiences that raised similar concerns about profiling and disparate treatment. The entire experience was humiliating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. There are plenty of businesses in Nashville that can verify IDs without treating customers this way.

This time in particular, my luck had it out for me and a beer I really wanted ran out when the glass was only about 10% full. I got to keep it, which was nice, but they pulled the piece of wood down and let me erase it! How cool is that? My group bullied me about it that I always select a beer that ends up being out of stock, but it was a great memory from our recent trip. One day I'll make it to the other TailGate but the Music Row one is top tier and gets just busy enough to be manageable. Never have I been here and people are pouring out of the doors which is good for the experience.

Big, layered fruit flavor with great depth. Strawberry Delight Hill - Sooooo good! This is a must-have. Bright, flavorful, and dangerously easy to drink. Peanut Butter Copra - A stout with peanuts and a hint of toasted coconut. Let this one warm up a bit and the flavors really open up. Rich and smooth. Batch One Theory: 10th Anniversary Stout - Very good anniversary brew. I caught a subtle barleywine note blending into the stout character -- complex and interesting. Overall, this is a great place to sample some seriously creative beers. Plenty of space to sit inside or out, relax, and work your way through a flight. If you're a fan of bold flavors and breweries that aren't afraid to experiment, this is your spot.

It has a small outside seating area, for when it is not a sauna, Inside there is a nice sized bar, if you are just seeking a drink. They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

The first place we could think of to reach out to was Monday Night Brewing. I knew that the brides-to-be love going there for trivia nights, any of us that live in Nashville love the beer selection, and the ambiance is hard to beat for our out-of-town guests. The event manager Christiana (spelling?) returned my call within 30 minutes and was so kind about our situation. She quickly reserved the "Music City Lounge" section for our party of ~40 people, debriefed the staff on our accommodations, and kept in touch for whatever was needed leading into the following day. WHAT A PARTY-LIFE-SAVER!! Other honorable mentions are Matthew and Flip behind the bar who made our event feel like it was the only priority in the bar that day. We are INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL for MNB's kindness and exceptional service for what ended up being such a special celebration. Thank you MNB for saving the day!
