She was kind, patient, and wonderful with him right away. On the very first night we were gone, our dog suddenly became very ill and could not get up. It was an emergency situation, and Brenda immediately took control. She found a mobile veterinarian who came out that same night and stayed with our dog for over four hours. She went far beyond anything we ever could have expected from a pet sitter. Although we felt terrible not being there with him, Brenda cared for him as if he were her own dog. We spent hours on the phone together, and with her compassion, support, and guidance, we made the heartbreaking decision that it was his time. Her genuine love, concern, and calm action during such a painful moment meant more to us than words can express. She even helped contribute toward the emergency veterinary service. Brenda is truly an extraordinary person, and we will never forget the kindness and care she showed our beloved dog and our family during one of the hardest nights of our lives. Boarded our cat for a few nights while we went out of town. When I originally spoke with them over…read morethe phone they sounded extremely professional, said they offer photographs daily of our pet and that they would need to see vaccination paperwork at drop off. Called a second time to book a tour of where our cat would be staying - I was told by Ryan that having visitors come to the back would disrupt the dogs' experience.... Mkay. He said I could come in and see photos of the cat's lodge in the office and he has some on his phone. At drop off, there were many dogs in the office so be aware this is more of a business catered to dogs than cats. My cat was already stressed, not a shocker but still annoying. When it was my turn, they confirmed the dates she will be staying, literally took her to the back and didn't ask about vaccination or anything. It was very fast and felt off, but whatever. When I asked to see photos of where she would be staying they acted strange, as if my question was taboo. They didn't have any they could show me so I literally dropped my cat off and have no idea where she is going. Awesome. I left and in the car called to speak to someone who would send me photos - it was odd how they made it so difficult to send me 1 photo. They said they did take a photo but the cat was blurry so they will try again later.....Huh??? It's not hard to send a photo in 2026. Anyways, at pick up when they brought out my cat, they gave her back to me in the WRONG CARRIER. That was my sign that this business is shady and unorganized. The guy panicked when I told him the carrier wasn't mine and took them an additional 10 minutes to get the right one. And yes, I checked to see that they gave me the right cat. They also included a dirty old cat toy in the carrier covered in hair that was not ours. Gross. Very chaotic - never will be returning and would not recommend.

After having a horrible experience at another dog camp & boarding for 4 days, my dog experienced…read morehigh anxiety and was throwing up non stop for 2 days. I decided to try out Happy Dog Resort today. It was a pleasant experience for both my dog( Einstein ) and for me! When I called the office on Tuesday to schedule a day for playtime, Britany was so helpful & professional in scheduling and preparing my dog for his playtime. She understood my concerns that I had at the other dog camp. She told me that I should take a tour first ( without my dog) just to see the facilities. She called my veterinarian to get Einstein's vaccination records. So helpful that she did that instead of me bringing all his records. They also require a fecal test to make sure your dog doesn't have any parasites. All I had to do was to bring a stool sample and they took care of it. I received notification via email the following day that Einstein test was negative and all clear for him to go ... I took a tour with Alex on Tuesday afternoon. She was awesome and asked me questions about my dog regarding to his personality and behavior and clearly explained every play area ( each play area is designated accordingly to dog size and temperament. Today I took Einstein for playtime. In order to have my dog have a stay & playtime, they recommend that you bring in your dog in the morning for observation and to see how well your dog does with other dogs. It took about 3 hours. Andrea was awesome as well! She called me around 10:30 am to tell me that Einstein did so well and he's having a great time playing with his doggie friends in play area #3. She said that I can view Einstein on my portal that I set up with Happy Dog Resort. Which by the is a great website and portal to not only view the dog play area, but she took photos of Einstein playing throughout the day with other dogs. It was so comforting for me that Einstein did so well and and I'm looking forward to boarding him in the near future without any reservations and hesitation! Thank you Happy Dog Resort for creating a home away from home for Einstein!

Given that he has always been social and has attended daycares since he was 14 weeks old, this raises concerns about whether breed bias may be playing a role. I also noticed an $8 fee for someone to stand next to a dog while they eat lunch, which feels unusual and excessive. The front desk staff has always been kind, but there is one employee who creates the social media videos who consistently avoids greeting customers and immediately goes to the back whenever someone approaches. It contributes to an overall feeling of poor customer service. Because of these issues, we'll be returning to Ufuria in Rancho Cucamonga.

If you are looking for a caring and responsible person who gives your baby all the attention and love you want them to have... a person who's actions can give you peace of mind and ease your guilt... Val is the right person! This was a huge decision for us to hire someone to come into our home (stay) and take care of our boy we were in Hawaii... and it was not taken lightly. This was a little scary and first for us! It was going to take a lot of trust in whoever we hire that they would take great care of our Buddy... but, also that we could trust them in our home while we were away. It was extremely important to us that Buddy was comfortable in HIS home feeling secure, safe, cared for, loved and not abandoned... this is exactly what Val gave us and Buddy! We did our research and read almost every review. Obviously, searched and read about many pet sitters but we kept going back to Val. We made arrangements to for Val to come over and meet our boy and us. Buddy is a little cautious around people, but Val was very warm, patient and engaging with Buddy and he warmed up right away. Val asked a lot of questions in regards to what Buddy's and our needs are... what were our expectations. It was a very comfortable meeting and we knew before she left that Valerie is who we wanted for our Buddy. It turned out to be the best decision we ever made in regards to Buddy's care. Val was very flexible and even came over early the day we left so we could all hangout together for a couple of hours prior to our leaving... that way Buddy wouldn't be anxious or feel abandoned. While we were gone Val would text me... sending us pictures and videos daily of Buddy. We could see by his actions and how he cuddled up next to Val... we could see how great our decision was. Val always encouraged us to text her and responded right away. Val kept daily track/records of Buddy's walks, his medication intake, his eating amounts and anything else she felt we might want to know. Buddy is 9 years old and this was the first vacation that we've taken without him that we didn't feel guilty and had total peace of mind. Obviously, Valerie is our girl when it comes to our precious Buddy... without hesitation. If you are in a similar situation and need a responsible person who will take great care of your fur baby... Val is who we recommend. But, keep in mind... her calendar fills up fast, especially for overnights. So, plan! Val, if you're reading this... thank you!
