I paid nearly $5,000 in na French bulldog believing I was bringing home a healthy, well-cared-for puppy. Sadly, I was wrong. Zeus had health issues from the very beginning. Despite all the love, care, and medical attention -- including over $10,000 spent at a veterinary hospital -- Zeus passed away at just 1 year and 6 months old. No animal deserves to suffer like that, and no family should have to go through the pain of losing a pet so young. The emotional and financial damage this caused me is beyond words. With a broken heart, I'm leaving this review as a warning: do your research before buying from this place. Don't be fooled by promises or appearances. I truly hope no one else goes through what I went through. This entire experience traumatized me deeply. Losing Zeus so young shattered me emotionally, and I'm currently on medication just to help cope with the pain. Nothing will bring him back, but I hope my words can protect others from the same grief.

Surprising find…read more It's an automotive shop. That has a little side business as a pet store. Which apparently has been operating for something like 40 years. Successfully. For reals. And not just any pet store. They sell the good stuff here, this is not your local Walmart of pet goodies. Found them on the website for our dog food as a retailer, called and yep they had what we needed in stock. Last bag. Open on a Saturday. Headed over, and was surprised to find the split-personality pet auto thing going on, but it works. It really does. The store is small but it is well stocked and whatever they don't have, they can get, they order if they are out of it or can find it and it can be there in just a few days. They sell a good amt of the higher end dog foods, such as Taste of the Wild, Wellness, Grandma Lucys etc. Oh and your random metal dog water bowl, which somehow got lost in our move. $2 ya'll. In CA you'd pay $8 for the same thing. PA win.

Really good prices and just a really friendly place. And the fact that it is attached to an automotive shop isn't at all as creepy as it sounds. Separate shop and everything.

I always find the staff incredibly kind and professional--they deserve ten stars. However I feel some customers who come to use the self-serve dog bath are "abusing" the facility. If you have a big dog that sheds like crazy and you don't really know how to do it, you should spend more money and send the dog to a professional groomer. It doesn't feel right when you need to use 20 towels and make a huge mess. The self-serve dog bath isn't meant to be used in this manner. This is just my honest opinion. I truly feel sorry for the store and staff in that kind of situations. I know it's hard for Braxtons to come up with a policy about what kind of dogs can use the self-serve bath (which would definitely causes backlashes), but people should have known better.
