    Hummus & Pita Bread
    Vee V.

Found this hidden GEM today while vacationing in Santa Fe. Everything was delicious and just as it looked online/Yelp reviews. The water they serve you is infused, love that! The pita bread was warm when served and the hummus - wow pretty impressive. The Mediterranean salad is filled with great flavors, one of a kind. The greens power drink was on point. Service was A1 - they were super friendly, accommodating and ensured everything tasted delish. Ambiance is super cozy and I love their aesthetic. I would have loved to have tried many other items but was full. This experience left me in a very zen mode and refreshed. Would definitely recommend!

It's hard to find, but WORTH IT! Come early... they close at 7. Vegetarian & vegan... Moroccan- style DAILY Tajine special... each one we've had is so GOOD! We've also had the Collard Green Burrito, the Bastilla, the Beldi Cheese with honey & the Moroccan Mint Tea. And DON'T MISS THE MUSHROOM ROOT STEAK! It's BY FAR MY FAVE! We order an EXTRA side of it because we don't wanna share. Vegan Bougatsa for dessert. Not too sweet & YUMMY! SUPER sweet staff & you can browse in the shop (Body) while they prepare your food. CUTE jewelry!

Best vegan meal in Santa Fe. I'm a foodie and not vegan like my partner. However, meals are just more enjoyable when we can share. The slow-cooked Tajine for two was so delicious. Wonderful meld of flavors and ingredients. The mushroom meat is a must. We choose quinoa to accompany the main. Their water was infused with cucumbers and oranges that we didn't need tea. The server - nice and knowledgeable- suggested their teas as they are good for digestion. The chai was spicy and delightful. The tea in a pot - forgot the flavor but it was lightly sweetened with honey and perfect post meal. If you are really hungry, likely you'll want to add an appetizer or dessert. We were happy and sated. Enjoy!

Tajine is probably one of the best places to grab a meal in Santa Fe area. We loved this place so much that we ended up coming here on every single day of our stay in Santa Fe. Below are some highlights of our experience 1. They accept reservations as well as pick-up orders online which makes the entire experience a lot smoother. 2. The food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the Falafel sandwich on all occasions and found it to be flavorful with the right amount of spice. 3. The staff is wonderful and friendly and the place looks really well-maintained with a cozy ambience. 4. Seating is fairly limited at the moment but they're working on expanding this location's capacity. All in all, this is an absolute must-visit place to dine if you're in Santa Fe area.

People are obviously loving this place. I'm liking it but some perspective and honesty is needed in these reviews. We ordered the Mezzes plate and a falafel sandwich. Presentation was excellent. Flavors were pretty good. The falafel was super dry, and I asked for a lemon wedge to brighten it up. The Mezzes plate was fun and tasty. Service was not good. We started out with a attentive server but never saw her again. Not to get a napkin, a condiment or even the check. Plates were never cleared, and we had to track down a person to get a check. Basically zero service after ordering. That's a problem. Green tea was $8 a cup which was outrageous, even for Santa Fe. Asked about hot sauce or harissa for some spice and told the it was $4 for the condiment harissa. I did without. Imaging ordering a burger anywhere and being charged $4 for catsup. Same thing. Ridiculous. Presentation is outstanding but prices and service need lots of improvement.

Excellent food, ambiance and service. First time in Santa Fe and had a great dining experience at Tajine. The actual restaurant is located inside the BODY shop. Outstanding food. The mezze platter is wonderful with a fresh and beautiful array of tastes served with warm pita bread.

10/10 experience Though small, this restaurant does not lack in quality or flavor! It is located in the back of a yoga/spa/clothing boutique which can make it easy to miss! There is not a separate entrance for Tajine, so know you will be walking through a boutique to find the spot. This was the first time my husband and I tried Moroccan food and we were NOT disappointed. The atmosphere was darling, food was AMAZING and our server, Maddy, was extremely friendly and helpful. What we got: Moroccan Mint Tea (unsweetened) Sprouted Hummus with pita Slow cooked Tajine for 2 - we added vegan chorizo Chocolate Tam'ra Wow wow wow! So full of flavor and so fresh. We left feeling satiated and guilt free (even with adding an EXTRA side of pita). BIG THANKS to the cooks and Maddy for a wonderful first experience with Moroccan food This is a MUST try spot.

Incredible food and a wonderful experience! I met my sister here for lunch on the way up to Colorado. We shared the sweet and savory tajine. Vegetables slow roasted in a clay pot. It had carrots, dates, potatoes, sweet potatoes, apricots and more, all cooked with Moroccan spices. The quinoa was delicious as well. Service was great and the waitress was helpful. The ambience was nice. Definitely check this place out. It was terrific! I want to go back and try everything on the menu!

This authentic New Mexican Mediterranean-food place is off the beaten path, a hidden gem for vegans and vegetarians. I loved the vibe, the artful decor, and the neat flare of the atmosphere. This place is intimate, elegant, and full of delicious menu options. I especially enjoyed their Moroccan stew--perfectly sweet and spicy. There are gluten free options, and a variety of clean and refreshing health drinks. It was an oasis to us after a day of hiking and exploring in the gorgeous yet hot and dry Santa Fe outdoors. The staff were also pleasant and knowledgeable.

So I am not a vegetarian or vegan person, that is till this place filled me up and I felt great after. What's an awesome experience from the beginning when the owner personally came out to greet us. The whole atmosphere is five star. Look at the menu it is filled with all sorts of yummyness. Don't Hesitate to ask questions. Supper friendly staff in the restaurant and the clothing store. Walk in and walk to the far NE corner. Go in order and enjoy clean local eatery.

What a find! At the back of Body, a lifestyle shop/spa/yoga studio, brothers Zack and Malek are cooking up delish Moroccan vegetarian fare. Loved the za'alouk, a roasted eggplant and tomato dip with perfectly grilled pita, and the vegetarian tajine with prunes, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, potatoes and peppers.

Never saw waitress after ordering, falafel was dry + asked for side chips but got salad, had to ask for check, pretty but dysfunctional seating area, feels uninviting for a family.

This is a one-of-a-kind place, the Vietnamese fusion flavors are so delicious, the fresh herbs and vegetables pop with brightness alongside the perfectly prepared seafood and meats. We went for my husband's birthday and the Alkeme team made it an unforgettable evening. They gave him a free sparkling wine for his bday :) He ordered the sake pairing for the "sea" tasting menu, and wow, we've never tried sakes this innovative. You can tell the sakes were carefully selected, some more light, others more earthy, all of them excellent. I ordered the Sticky Business cocktail, and damn, it was amazing!! Their take on a tiki drink but less sweet, with a boozey foam and mango pearls. The service was wonderful. We got to talk to Chef Erica, which was very cool, and Vickie gave lovely descriptions of our dishes. They and our waitress made my husband's birthday so special. This restaurant in my opinion is James Beard and/or Michelin level dining. We loved everything about it. I highly recommend Alkeme, we'll never forget this special meal!

The crispy cod was well prepared and layered with flavor. The carrot soup was a little bland. The colossal shrimp and pork belly came on a bright, fresh, and somewhat messy bed of slaw and greens, but the dish needed a little more heat or sauce to bring everything together. The shrimp were also slightly overcooked. Service was slow and a bit fussy at the same time. The dining room is tight, which seems to make it difficult for servers to flow through the space efficiently, so that may explain some of the issues.

Unfortunately I was highly disappointed by food and service. I ordered fish and shrimp taco. The food wasn't bad but it's didn't come with a side of salsa or any sort of sauce. It did comes with a side of rice which I felt was under seasoned. The service was slow. I walked in around 1pm and door was locked. I was surprised to find them close even though online says that they are open at 11am that day. I checked on google and it was suppose to be open. I called and they said that they are open but waiting for alcohol to be delivered at 3pm. Did they assume that every customer coming in is ordering alcohol? As far as I understand this is a restaurant that serves food and alcohol and not a bar. Shortly after my arrival, there was a large tour with 12 people showed up. I could see that the waiter was a bit flustered because he also had to tend to other customer as well as the tour. I guess this is where the tour take people for authentic taco experience. In my opinion these are more toned down gringo tacos. My taco didn't come with a side of sauce like everyone else. I also noticed that the tour all received a side of salsa which I didn't. I'm not sure if the waiter forgot. I had to flag down the waiter a few time because he also forgot my drink. I also ordered an agua Fresca watermelon and it wasn't made of real watermelon but flavor syrup from the bar. I wished I had known that it wasn't real melon. 2.5 stars for the food and 2 for service. Again food wasn't terrible, but certainly wasn't close to be the best.

For years, their samosas were some of the best: perfectly seasoned potato filling in a lightly friend pocket alongside some date chutney sauce. On their updated menu, samosas were listed as 25%, so I went for 2 thinking the portions were as they had been for the last 15 years. Sadly, this was not so. They were more like tiny hot pockets, baked pizza dough, with a rather bland, flavorless filling. Alongside a #3 cup of veggie of the day and $16 later, I realized my journey with Annapurna had come to an end, and I would not be returning. Also, I noticed the oat milk being added to the $7 oat chai was Kirkland brand, which consists of: (filtered water, organic rolled oat flour), organic sunflower oil, calcium carbonate, organic natural flavors, sunflower lecithin, sea salt, vitamin A palmitate, ergocalciferol (vitamin D2), riboflavin (vitamin B2), and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) . Some listings also describe it as fortified and organic, with no added sugar noted in one review source. I'm not an Ayurvedic doctor, but these ingredients and the quality of the food have declined considerably over the last years, which is sad. Such are the times...

I have been coming here for thirty-five years, and it blows my mind that after more than three decades, it keeps reaching new heights while fiercely retaining everything that made it legendary in the first place: the unbeatable high quality, the remarkably affordable prices, and those effortlessly cool, historic vibes. It is a rare, beautiful gem that refuses to compromise its soul, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This visit was extra special because my fiancé was a first-timer, and he was instantly converted, falling just as madly in love with the magic of this place as I did decades ago. On this particular afternoon, the lines were wrapped around the courtyard and the energy was absolutely electric. It was hella busy, which is a testament to how beloved this institution remains. Rather than waiting for a table, we decided to grab our food to go--a move that turned out to be pure perfection. We took our feast over to the historic plaza square, found a spot to sit, and ate under the shade of the trees while listening to live music drift through the air. With a beautiful, cool mountain breeze rustling through the plaza, it was the most quintessential, magical Santa Fe experience you could ever ask for. As for the food, it remains an absolute revelation. I ordered my enchiladas "Christmas" style, split right down the middle with both their famous, deeply savory red chile and their bright, perfectly spiced green chile. The first bite instantly reminded me why no one else can touch what they do here. The blue corn tortillas were tender, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the chiles carried that robust, earthy, authentic New Mexico heat that warms you from the inside out. It is a flawless execution of culinary tradition. To be able to deliver that level of world-class, scratch-made perfection at a price point that still feels incredibly generous is nothing short of a miracle. Whether you sit in their enchanting, labyrinthine dining rooms or pack it up for a picnic on the square, The Shed is the absolute pinnacle of the Santa Fe spirit.

They moved us to the other side of the pillar which we originally didn't mind but then quickly realized there's no lighting there. So we were eating dinner in a very dim lit area. After reading the reviews, we were excited to try the fish tacos, tamales, and fresh chips and salsa. Unfortunately, none of these really were superstar standouts for us. The blackened fish didn't have a ton of flavor. I found myself searching for a salsa that had a little bit of salt and flavor to spruce up the fish taco. I ate one of the three and my husband ate the remaining. The tamales tasted fresh and the ratio of protein to masa was great. We ate the tamale mostly without the mole sauce, which we didn't really care for. The salsa and chips that came out as an appetizer were fine. The salsas were different and flavorful. I wish that when they dropped off the different salsas (which they do on a rotation) they would have explained what each one was.
