First of all, we loved the bright open atmosphere. The service was excellent too. And the food was amazing. We had the vegan smothered burrito Christmas style which was huge and filled with so many yummy and healthy ingredients. We also had the pumpkin quinoa burger on gluten free bun with spinach salad which we enjoyed.

Really lovely atmosphere and attentive servers. They have a wonderfully interesting menu and I really enjoy their smoothies. Everything is gluten-free. Someone with me had their pumpkin pancakes and they were very flavorful without being too much. I had the house salad today with shrimp. And while it was tasty, I was given 4 shrimp for 7 dollars and the salad was 13.50 for some greens, two avocado slices, and almonds, and a little goat cheese. It's just wasn't a lot for 22 dollars (see pic). Great restaurant overall.

I'm back! I love this restaurant and for years, I've loved this chicken dish. Unfortunately for me, they only prepare it for supper, after 5pm. So many missed opportunities in the last year. But I held on and was in Santa Fe just in time to order it. This is 'take out' so I can't show you the beauty of it on the plate. My tastebuds were satisfied. How good was it really? My soul has been revived. I usually enjoy eating inside with its clean esthetics but due to my schedule, this order was curbside. On time too. I know it was prepared for me when I placed my order. During the hour drive home, my car was filled with aromatic anticipation and by the time I got home, it was still warm. Chicken takes time to cook. The kale! The potatoes! The sauce! Friendly staffer! Check it out for yourselves but don't y'all go at once.

As a Celiac it's so difficult to eat gluten-free. Even red and green chili sauces in New Mexico tend to be made with a gluten roux at many restaurants. Luckily, I found some random blogger who mentioned this restaurant as being 100% gluten-free. It was the first stop my husband and I made when we arrived in Santa Fe. The menu for lunch is a bit eclectic - japchae, Buddha bowls, bison burgers and quinoa cakes. I was really hoping for all the New Mexican foods I wanted to try but couldn't at other restaurants. I was able to order the stacked chicken enchiladas ($18) which were chicken, jack and cheddar cheese, sour cream and red or green chili wrapped in blue corn tortillas with black beans and green rice. I like it a lot. My husband and I shared an $8 bowl of turkey tortilla soup, but it was the consistency of queso dip. My husband kept sneaking bites of it so finally I told him that he could have it. He ordered the huevos rancheros on blue corn tortillas for $15. We shared an $8 slice of tres leches cake. Service was fine and the ambiance is like a little cafe. They did have some sort of what I assumed was a Hindu guru. I'm wondering if it's related to the eclectic menu choices? Not sure but I'd definitely return. Visited October 2024

Sweetwater is the place if you are wanting a healthy, gluten free (or not), vegan/vegetarian friendly spot! The service was great with a friendly server and quick delivery of our food. I've heard great things and sweetwater lived up to the hype! Excited to go again!

Amazing. This is how every restaurant should be! Leans plant based but has options for everyone, including our carnivorous friends. The service was great and we had a very attentive waiter who was incredibly sweet and kind. They had outdoor seating as well, which was perfect for an early brunch to start the day. The best part was how GOOD and amazing the food was. My smothered burrito was everything I ever dreamed of, and my friend had a non vegan version of the same thing and absolutely loved it. I haven't had anything like this in such a long time. PS i love the community tables inside of the restaurant with the built in planters within the table - created such a cute atmosphere!

Pumpkin pancakes, red chili enchiladas with cilantro rice, vegan omelette & avocado omelette wrap. DELICIOUS! Family hit!

Cute place I found on Maps-Yelp. Delicious Vegan options. Latte' wasn't my favorite. The homemade pumpkins were divine. My hubby loved that & his soup. I always look forward to some homemade spicy chili enchiladas whenever we visit Santa Fe. Thank you.

Sweetwater Harvest Kitchen (SWHK) is located in a light industrial business park called Pacheco Park in Santa Fe. This is from a visit on Oct 27, 2023. A local favorite, walked in to a warm welcoming, cozy, country decor w/humming dining room inside and some seating outside. Would suggest reservations for this place but was very lucky to get seated on the enclosed shady, comfy patio in less than 10 minutes. Water and coffees all around. Their menu has vegetarian, vegan, paleo and gluten-free offerings with a New Mexican flavor. Ordered: HUEVOS RANCHEROS, a vegetarian dish of 2 eggs over easy, blue corn tortillas, black beans, drizzled cheese, sour cream with the famous green Chile sauce. I was bad and ordered a side of their house-made sausage and had to stopped myself from ordering more. Honestly have never had Huevos Rancheros before but this was awesome dish of yumminess that hit the spot! My new favorite - YUM! SALMON DONBURI was a delightful bowl of Japanese style Atlantic salmon in a tamari, sake + butter pan sauce over brown rice w/peas, scrambled egg, pickled watermelon radish + scallion. The pickled watermelon was different and complemented the salmon very nicely. Would order again. PALEO PUMPKIN PANCAKE (PPP) w/butter & maple syrup. I will order pumpkin anytime it's on the menu. This PPP did not disappoint, a definite would order again. MIXED BERRY CUPCAKE. This was light and refreshing with fresh berries. This cupcake was a tiny offering of their in-house baked cakes, pies, cupcakes. SWHK is a great brunch lunch place that fills your belly with satisfying clean, organic food while putting your mind at ease with the healthy menu offerings! 5/5! P. S. Love good coffee and the coffee here blew my mind! Learned they used a local, Iconik Coffee Roasters, deep, roasted flavor with body! Tried to see if I could find some to bring home but did not alas...

I started with what I thought was going to be a plain Caesar salad, but when it arrived, it was served like a sushi or lettuce wrap. It was very creative and tasty! It made it much more fun to eat than the average salad. It was rich and topped with anchovies, like a true Caesar salad. I then had the peppercorn Elk tenderloin. I asked it be served as the chef recommended, which is medium rare. I am sometimes wary of medium rare, but this tenderloin was DIVINE! It was so moist and bursting with flavor. I loved it. The cocktails were creative and just as enjoyable as the meal. Other options for dinner apps include: cornbread, ahi crudo, mussels, and bison carpaccio. Mains: scallops, pan roasted Branzino, toasted masa gnocchi, grilled Maine lobster tails, duck leg confit, and a pecan coffee rubbed prime flat iron. I'm sure all of them would be amazing. Reservations recommended. Please note that the rooftop bar does not take reservations and is not on the same system as the restaurant. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

My husband ordered the Guajillo Braised Boneless Short Ribs, which were cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. In my case, the scallops were slightly overcooked and a bit tough, and the corn purée was a little too spicy for my personal taste. The fry bread and the Picuris salad were excellent and truly memorable. The restaurant is located inside the beautiful Hotel Santa Fe and offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with a wood-burning fireplace and a very friendly staff. The goodness began with Naomi, who helped me fix an error in my reservation and get a table at a good time tonight. The goodness continued with our server Mitzi, who should be teaching graduate classes in hospitality in every big city. She was friendly without being overbearing, informative without being pedantic, subtle and gracious. Now, the food! My wife chose the vegetarian tasting menu and I had some of each dish: so very flavorful (a green salad with pears, a life-changing mushroom bisque [and I don't like mushrooms!], a chickpea croquette with pickled artichoke hearts and ratatouille, and a substitution of the lemon crepe for three yummy scoops of sorbet and gelato. I chose the scallops, perfectly cooked and moist, over couscous, and a dish of tasty sauteed baby spinach. A wonderful experience, and not overpriced, and everyone treated us sweetly. The interior is classy and very comfortable. We were seated at a nice comfy corner booth. The soft music in the background was soothing and just noticeable enough without being a distraction. We were served complimentary flutes of local sparking wine and a fresh baked bread basket and butter to start. We then ordered cocktails and three starters. First was a split plate of the endive smoked duck salad with a warm bacon vinegarette. Wow...this was nice and refreshing. This was followed by the crab dumplings with fresh corn and peas and lobster sauce. Delicious! The final small plate was seared foie gras on top of banana bread toast. This was very good. I miss foie gras. Unfortunately, it's banned in California. They had a 2023 Sea Smoke "Ten"Pi ot Noir on the wine list. This is one of the best Pinot Noirs produced in California and not easy to find. This was a no doubter and we ordered a bottle to pair with our entrees. My wife ordered their signature elk tenderloin for redemption because the restaurant the night before failed at executing this. I ordered the tomahawk pork chop. This was cooked to perfection with a nice thin crust on the outside and a perfect very light pink juicy center. We ordered a side of brocolini that was pan roasted with shallots and butter. Everything was very good and Michelin grade in our opinion. Lastly we ended the evening and split the tiramasu type of desert. My wife had the expresso martini and I had an 18 year old Glen Morangie scotch neat. The service was excellent and worth the splurge. This is a must when visiting Santa Fe.
