In spite of driving by this post office location so many times within the last 5 years, I never saw…read moreit until today. We were on our way to another post office, but saw this post office, decided to ship a few boxes, so came here. Parking is plentiful and the lot is easy to maneuver through. Customers park on the ground level and enter the front doors at a much raised level. The lobby is just off the entryway, with a lot of mail boxes to the left. Customers can walk straight ahead upon entry to get to mail slots where they can deposit their mail. To the right is the separate customer service area where customers got into a short line to wait their turn at either of the two windows where postal workers were handling customer transactions. The customer service area is stocked with various sizes of boxes and envelopes, various types of greeting cards, and gift cards, all for sale. While waiting in line, I noticed that one of the employees was slow, and the other one was not slow (not fast, just not slow). Thankfully, shipping is easy if the customer (like us) had QR codes ready on the mobile app for each shipment. This way, all the USPS employee has to do is scan the QR code, which allows a shipping label to be printed automatically that the employee applies to either the box or the envelope and puts it into the bin to be shipped. 4 star experience.

Come on Americans, we can do better than this!! who does this need to be reported to for a band new replacement American Flag ASAP? I'm going to keep digging until I find the correct source! This American is Livid about this flag not being replaced ASSP! This flag is so worn that common sense tells you it just didn't get this way recently!! it's been this way a while to be in this shape!!! Shame on Sandy Springs, GA you have to do better!

This is now my favorite post office to visit. In addition to its beautiful exterior, your nieces at…read morethe desk greet you like a small town post office, advising you warmly, and helping you get on your way efficiently. It is a delight to do business here. This location is especially convenient. A quick hop off of Piedmont, Peachtree, 85, Sydney Marcus, and among many retail amenities like Best Buy, Target, Home Depot, Michaels and Marshalls, you can get in and out super easy while quickly marking this (typically) dog of an errand off of your to do list.

That's absurd, but regardless I was there before then so I thought it was fine. I walked inside to see the gate closed at the counter and a long line of people waiting to use the QR kiosk. It wasn't their lunch break yet, so I'm confused why this was happening. A lady was helping a few select customers through the side door by the gate, so I know staff was present. I'm giving two stars because at least there was a kiosk. My suggestion to USPS is to get rid of the crazy long lunch hours. Or have employees stagger their breaks so someone is still available. My second suggestion is to add more kiosks to make the process more efficient. If you refuse to have people working, replace them with kiosks so people can actually mail their items during your promised business hours. EDIT: I took away a star because they never scanned any of the items I dropped off today.

"You're nothing but a drifter who found a bag of mail." -- The Postman (1997)…read more This place is super easy for in and out if you are dropping off a package, letters, etc... IF they are already ready to mail (i.e. you printed your postage at home and are simply dropping in one of the boxes inside our out). If you need to stand in line, I hate to tell you, but the lines here seem to always be long, no matter what the time of day seems to be. The workers are friendly and they work as quickly as they can, but this place stays busy and the customers are needy and don't always know what it is they need or come properly prepared. But all-in-all, it's a good post office.

It's hidden in the back of the shopping center on the highest level. And boy, is it tiny. (It is, I swear). When I swung by to mail one package the line was nearly to the door. Lucky for me they have one of those teller free computer package thingies. The line for it was to the door. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU However, it was right by the door, so it made sense to wait. During my wait time I enjoyed people watching these OTP specimens. There were young models as well as older ones. Ones who yelled on their cell phones and ones that were scoffing at the line. It was great. Anyway, I managed to mail my package without a problem. People behind me trembled in their shoes of my accuracy of touch screen selection and knowledge of the system. It was grand. For what it's worth, this place is busy as hell, come in and use the automated system thingy, you'll save some time (and your sanity).
