Went to Take 5 for first time, the only person I observed working was the guy in the wheelchair. Most of the staff was smoking and hanging out. They began working on my vehicle without even talking to me. Then after they changed the oil they tell me this location only does premium oil. I advised shouldn't you guys have told me this before the oil change or put a sign up? The never checked my fluids other than the oil, no air in tires.no nothing but the sheet advised that it was checked. The young lady then advised those are just recommendations, even though the paper said it was checked. I really had no choice in complaining otherwise they would've tampered with my car. I eventually paid the 89 dollars because I am a veteran otherwise it would-be $106 for an oil change. Inor my family will ever go to any take 5 again!!!! read more

Stopped in to get an oil change and what should have taken 10 to 15 minutes took over an hour. If that wasn't bad enough I had to listen to the boy that was draining my oil cuss as he was attempting to get my oil plug out. He apparently stripped it because they had to put a new one in. I say apparently because I heard they needed a new one but no one spoke to me. You would think that for 200.00 the employees could at least speak to you. Valvoline offers the same service I think I will go to them next time. SMH read more

My daughter took her car here for an oil change on 3/13/26. Her vehicle is less than a year old with 25,000 mile. She was told she needed to replace the coolant and windshield wiper. The coolant exchange she was charged $145 the windshield wipers she was charged $72. This place is nothing short of a ripoff for women or any without any mechanical knowledg. Go to Walmart at least they won't rip you off. Tell everyone you know to avoid this company like the plague. read more

They are always understaffed and normally only work 1 lane at a time, if you need fast service this is not the place. I started using Take 5 when they opened and they were great, but they went down hill since. I stopped to give them one more shot today and they were still operating the same so I left and went to Valavoline by HEB and had a far better experience. read more

Poor staff, would not recommend this place. It's like if they don't Like their job lol. They take their sweet time and don't prioritize anything. They say 10 min oil change but it's like an 1hr oil change. Restroom is gross too, they have soap in a bottle of water! The only good thing is they offer you a water bottle. read more

Went in for a simple oil change and state inspection. They were so nice and efficient! They took great care of me the entire time. This was during the "no contact" phase of COVID19, so I stayed in the car the whole time. But that did not stop the great service. And quick! I was in and out faster than I expected. They have a "honk if you had great service" sign. I definitely honked. Professional, quick, and close to home...a trifecta of cool. read more

Pulled up to get an oil change. Nice young gentlemen came to the window and let me know they do not perform oil changes on VW. I thought he was joking but sadly he was not. It is company policy and non-negotiable. He was very polite. I was disappointed but oh well. read more
